~New Desk~

New Desk, LB is the inspector :-)

Yesterday the temperature was over 80 and it was so

nice.. I had my doors wide open and it was great.. The

smell coming in the front door from all the Lilly of The

Valley out there was so sweet it made this whole place

smell heavenly.. Rebecca's mom and dad stopped by to

bring a computer desk they didn't need anymore. Its

smaller than mine but I think it will be better as mine

is so beat up and wore. I havent decided to keep it yet

or not.. But I do want to move my desk over where it is

I think up in that corner will be a good place for my

desk which ever one I keep. But she noticed the smell

of the Lillys and she commented on how very nice this

place is. I told her if it wasn't for Rebecca I wouldn't

have found this great place, shes a nurse at Sturgis

hospital.. which is very good too.. Why? well if I get

back into sewing again, one of the things I made were

Scrub Tops, what nurses or aides, even doctors wear.

So Rebecca's mom could be a very good advertising

source for me.. :-) If I got back into sewing again, as

a business. Which I have considered, Penny and I have

talked about it quite a bit.
All along the side of the house are dozens of these beautys :-)

What would be great is if Penny could rent the other

side of this duplex and then we could get use of the

stone garage right out back.. Be perfect.. Set up our

sewing machines and do our thing. The place next door

is 2 bedroom and I am guessing higher rent than what

I pay here. But it sure would be convenient and as few

seamstress's as there is, a shop could be quite profit

able... Would be nice and I have NOT given up on that

little 'daydream'...
Look at the size of this peonie... its going to be so beautiful...see my wind
chimes? The sound they make is wonderful.. I wish I had a dozen of them.

The saying is 'DayDreams are wishes your heart makes'..

Well if that's really true, as much as I do that, I have

a TON of wishes :-) I think hoping and wishing for more

or better is a good thing. If I couldn't do that.. wheres

the hope? Then I would give up.. If I saw NO possibilty

of anything new or exciting or better, I would give up

and just sit back and wait to die... What would be the

point if NOTHING will get better? I HAVE to keep that

hope.. Even if things don't really get BETTER, but don't

get any worse. It keeps the 'fight' in me I guess...
Double Impatient. hangs to the left of the back door.. :-)

I splurged yesterday and bought a double impatient pot

of flowers.. Isnt it beautiful? I have some of those in

the pot out front and in the green one out back.. Penny

also got a morning glory plant that she is going to put

under the shepherds hook and hopefully they will climb

it.. I think it would be so pretty.. Just before she left

yesterday she told me about the Iris's along side of

the house !! She said there are tons of them out there,

so needless to say, when she comes Friday , she and I

are going outside.. The climatis climbing by the door

needs weeded and the vines put up on the trellis... It

will be SO pretty out there.


Penny said her son got a job with a construction company

and Todd is going to inquire about scrap material they

may have that would be for free of course but also will

work to make a deck out back for me.. The boy called

last nite and said he will keep his eyes open too.. So I

am HOPING that I will have a way to get out my back

door SOON :-) see? a Day Dream :-)

Time to daydream about what I'm gonna have for lunch.

I have NO idea.. Today is my dollys birthday.. Sweet kid.

All of us sure are proud of Kelli... she has done very well.

Donnies parents and brother are coming for the week

end for her birthday, Donnie wont be here as he is a

dedicated race fan and this is a race week end, that he

scheduled LAST year.. So he will be gone... But Kelli will

have a good day.. she sure deserves it...

Post time, lunch time and as nice a day as it is.. probly
