~I Over Slept~ :-)
I slept till almost 10 oclock this morning.!. I havent
done that in I don't know how long. Shows me I am
more stressed than I thought. I woke up at 5:30,
but just changed positions, moved the cats and went
back to sleep and the next thing I knew it was bright
sunlight and I saw the time and I was surprised.. I
honestly don't like to sleep late, I feel half my day is
gone and I like daytime, my two favorite times of
day are sunup and sundown.. always has been..
I remember sitting on my lanai waiting for the sunrise
having a coffee and planning what I wanted to get done
that day, back then wasn't a whole lot, if it involved
walking or doing a lot.. this was pre heart by pass and
amputations..so I wasn't up to par at all, but I would do
as much as I could and take a break and I usually sat
outside watching the birds and admiring my flowers I
planted all over. I enjoyed watching the trains in the
back too, some of the graffiti was amazing... When we
first moved there the trains drove us nuts, but then
we never even paid attention to them...
I think from working all my adult life and most jobs I
had I had to be up by 5 at least, specially in the motel
business. My crew started at 7, one way to empty out
a motel early so you can clean it is to start mowing the
lawn or doing some repairs outside, the guests will go.
:-) I worked nights when I lived in Green Bay for EDS,
I left for work by 9 and depending on the amount of
work that came thru we got off work by 4 sometimes
5. It was a bank clearing house, very busy, steady on
your feet job, most of my jobs were, like nursing, that
was steady going too. I was/am a LPN.
Most of the jobs Ive had have all been people jobs,
where ive had a lot of interaction with them, not just
sitting at a desk typing or doing paper work.. THAT I
liked.. Specially the marketing, where I spent a lot of
time talking to prospective clients, the motels were
most interesting, specially the Blue Top in Houston..
I met some amazing people managing that motel... :-)
Truly life experiences, so much so I'm doing an out
line for a story of my motel works in Houston.. Should
be VERY good :-)
Well I have only had 1 coffee cuz I wanted to get this
post done and posted and at least feel like ive gotten
ONE thing done today :-) Plus I woke up kinda hungry,
so I might have some of the left over brats and tatoes
I fixed last nite.. They were so GOOD ! I hadnt fixed
them that way in a long time. Hope you had a nice week
end, ours was rainy , and its sposta today again.. but
later... I still can sit in the doorway though :-)
Post time, and of course time for my GORGEOUS
WEEBLE "I will be back!" :-)
WEEBLE "I will be back!" :-)
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks!
