~Quiet Place~

Sitting by this backdoor I can't help but notice how

quiet it is here. I kinda miss all the action at the little

house. I liked watching the people, so many walked

down that street. I'm hoping I can go down to watch

the Sturgis Toy Run, I hope I can find out about what

time they will be coming through here, Rebecca and

Penny both said they would come and watch it with me.

I think it would be great to see that again, Ive been a

watcher of it for 2 years now.. :-) I heard an ambulance

yesterday and when I did I thought of this quiet and

how I don't think ive heard an ambulance siren here

since I don't know when.. At the little house that was

common at least once a day :-)
I noticed the ramp guy and he is a right amputee, I

saw him come home yesterday and took that photo.

Penny was telling me about one of her clients that

has just lost her leg below knee. I told Penny if she

needs someone to talk to as I gather she is having a

very hard time accepting it, she can call me and I will

help if I can. I know how hard this can be and some

just have the hardest time and really if you have no

other health problems its NOT really that bad. If I

didn't have mine I would do more, well I would FEEL

like doing more, lets put it that way... The ramp guy

goes out a lot every few days I see the woman take

him or he has a friend that comes over in a beautiful

aqua colored pick up that parks his and takes the

ramp guys red truck...They usually take him in his, Ive

not seen him go very much in the car the woman drives.
My cardinal is getting to be a regular visitor and I sure

enjoy listening and seeing him.. His sound of "purty, purty,

purty" just echoes, like hes telling me hes out there..
Look at the cardinal.. then just to the right you can see

a little chickadee I think, coming in for a landing.. I was

MOST impressed when I saw that photo !! My impatients

in that hanging thing are so beautiful they look like roses.
I sure am glad Penny found that, its one of my favorites

and since shes moved them both to the partial shade out

there they are just flourishing.. I LOVE MY YARD ....
Nice day today and Penny has gotten us all clean for the

weekend. I have no plans other than to write this daily,

of course, and not one other thing is on my schedule...

and its gonna be a nice warm weekend too ! I talked to

my sister yesterday and they are planning a two week

trip up north to the UP of Michigan.. Lucky dogs ! :-) I

would love to take a trip back up there.. I miss it.. just

a long way away..

Whats close is the kitchen and my sewing machine, so

I'm gonna turn my Sturgis Oldies Radio station on and

sew up a few things.. I have company coming next week

and I may make a new skirt.. :-) Lunch time too and

time for my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "have a nice week

end !! " :-)
