~Gettin Ready For Company~ :-)

I'm posting early and a shorty today, Ive been super

busy. I am expecting company possibly tonite, for sure

tomorrow morning.. I sent Penny to the store in 3 Rivers

since this Village Market leaves a lot to be desired that's

here in Colon.. A lot of their stuff is outdated even. For

being the ONLY grocery store here, they could do better.

They have NO variety of anything.. Although the Spartan

products are good..but they just don't have enough.

The menu for tomorrow lunch is potato salad, deviled eggs

and possibly brats or hot dogs.. a light lunch.. For dinner I

think I will make a meat pie and get everything ready today,

the potatoes cut etc, then all I have to do is put it together

and bake it tomorrow.. I use the ready crust and it works

great and is very tasty.. I might have a side of a veggie,

I'm not sure yet..

For desert I have Haagendas strawberry ice cream and I

had Penny get some fresh strawberries to go with or just

to have as a snack later in the evening perhaps. I enjoy

having company and getting everything set up.. I worked

hard this morning and even before Penny got here I had

a lot done.. I been workin !! :-) I enjoy it though.. I will

say its a lot easier when Penny is here to help me.. Even

though I'm in a power chair its easy to move but It just

takes forever to get this chair cranked up and moving. It

is NOT a fast responder at all...

I checked the weather for tomorrow, today its sposta

storm most of the day and hopefully clear up tomorrow,

Only up in the 70's but I hope sunny then we can go out

side and sit for a while.. THAT would be great.. Only

thing is I have NO outdoor stuff, chairs etc.. To take

one of mine out with the straight legs I think they might

sink into the ground as damp and rainy as its been. I can

take out my card table chairs and put them on the cement,

that would work. But I am glad theyre coming and I don't

mind these little extras I'm doing in preparation.. If one

of y'all came for a visit I would do the same thing :-)

I better get back to work while Penny is here to help me

then I will get done sooner and I still have a list of stuff

I want to do before she leaves.. So that means its Post

Time and time for this GORGEOUS BUSY WEEBLE to

get some more done for today "I will be back ! " I KNOW

your glad too :-)
