~I Got Scratched~

I have a scratch that I bet is 5 inches long that goes
from just top of my left stump, and over the end. It
didn't draw blood till the end which was right next to
the scar. It was an accident, Dutch slipped- he stepped
on the bone, and I moved it, and he started to fall.
With no lap, he went down and my boys are armed, they
have their claws. Its not really bad but just at the very
end which I will watch closely, one of my biggest fears
is for that scar to act up again, I don't think I could go
thru that pain again, I don't think my heart would take
it to be honest... But with no lap to speak of.. every time
I drop something it goes right to the floor... THAT gets
old.. :-)

If I had a lap, when I would drop something it would stay
there, or if I raised my legs, what ever it was wouldn't
hit the floor.. now, I have maybe about 5 or 6 inches, if
that, of a lap, and that's only on the left! theres NO lap
to speak of with my right, its too short...When I'm sewing
I keep my grabber right there so I can pick up what ever
and it will even pick up pins because it has a magnet at the
end too.. THAT helps, I would hate to drop a pin and one
of the boys step on it. I know Ive done that, well, when I
had my ugly feet :-) But having a lap sure would help... :-)

Yes, I had UGLY feet and to be honest? I don't miss them.
The legs, yes, well I miss miss my feet as far as the help
to walk..but I mean, I had the ugliest toes no one should
have been allowed to have.. I never wore open toed shoes
or flip flops, at home, yes, but never OUT... plus I had
short little stubby toes and the nails were awful. So bad
that even nail polish didn't make them look better. :-)
And snaggers? I dressed up every day when I worked
marketing, dresses and hose.. I went through more hose
than anyone cuz of snags from my toenails, even though
I kept them manicured, Was a fight.. :-) Even back then
I had challenges :-)

My challenge for today is to just get through it. I thought
today I have NOTHING scheduled and I was going to
use today to NOT get stressed about anything. Ive noticed
since all this that Ive had to use my nitro and I get uneasy
when I have to because of angina. So today I REFUSE to
have any stress even if it means sitting in the doorway all
day. Although its kinda cool. Some parts of Michigan even
had FROST warnings last night, north of me. That's not
good... so I may have to just sit by the window.. maybe
by late afternoon it will be a lot warmer, sposta be..
Post time, lunch time and GORGEOUS WEEBLE "hi :-)"
for today...

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks!
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You" is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again....
