~Im Glad Tonite :-)~

Comcast came today and the wire is fixed.!. finally, gee only

5 days since I called..good thing it wasnt really dangerous..

lol.. I called the electric company, phone company and cable.

No one but comcast came . Thats just so encouraging isnt it?

lol..makes you wonder..well the flippin thing is back where its

supposed to be, thats the main thing..im glad... :-)

Chris called and the paperwork has been sent back, so hope

fully all the grant issues will be settled and then I can know what

im paying. I am still not sure yet. lol.. But if I can get my $400.oo

back, I have to repay half of it but the other, I can put towards I

think the freezer, but then Im not sure that a washer and dryer,

portable kind, would be better for up here, then if worse came to

worse I could still do my own laundry.. I better wait till I know if I

get it back before I spend it hey?

Its so much warmer in here since Donnie fixed my window..I

told him what I was getting Dawn for Christmas and he seems

to think she will really like it.. Im not sayin here in case she reads

this! lol...Dawn assured me that Donnie would like what I got him

as well..which I was pretty sure he would .. knowing him.. Ive known

this kid for almost 25 years..I dont think any mother could be closer

to her child than I am to him..I thank Barb and Bill all the time for

sharing him and letting me say hes my son too..lol.. hes a good

man and they did a great job, and it shows..Theyre proud of him

too..hes a hard working man..he will be a good example for his

grandson, Cameron...hes a little doll..twice now Ive missed the

chance to take pictures of him..wait..i will next time..I'll get every

body lol..Im dangerous with a live camera lol. are there dead

ones? that didnt make sense. . I think im tired lol.. :-)

This cold sure is affecting my stumps though..Ive noticed that

there is a draft from the window next to me from the sides a

bit yet..and its even with my lap . My stumps get so cold..Ive

been putting my mink cape over me ..sure helps..I find that

when they get cold they feel like they swell..and get bigger

and alot heavier.. which is NOT a comfortable feeling..They

feel very tight, the skin over them, but when I feel them they

dont feel any different as though they really are swollen or

tight at all..

Every so often when I lay down and get all snug and comfy I

feel how my invisible legs seem to be shorter..that the length

of them in my mind seems they are about half what they were

in length.. I still, if I concentrate, move my toes.. it is the strangest

feeling but I can actually move each toe if I concentrate hard..

Alot of the time I notice that my feet seem to be in a very high

arch, like a ballerina is on her toes..and they seem to stay

that way most of the time..I still know where they are..I feel them

as if they are still down there ..but like I said..they are not even

touching the floor ..the toes just about touch the top of the

wheel..amazing hey? I wonder why my mind doesnt accept that

sure makes me feel stupid.. lol.. it does. I consider my self rather

smart,, well intelligent. I do get smart.lol..but if thats true then

why wont my mind realize that my legs are gone? Isnt that just

weird? Even when I put my hands on the ends..that does not

stop the feeling of the legs still there..and thats really weird..

I got so tired this after noon about one, I had to actually put my

head down and take a nap! I slept till the cable guy came..about

2 hours.. I just grab a pillow off the couch and put it on my desk

and lean forward..I sleep very well that way.. I sleep sitting up

sometimes in bed even.. I started that in the hell home when I

would have a hard time breathing..I think I have that sleep stuff

apena or something .. no apnea lol.. Im still tired and as soon

as I post this Im finishing a letter and laying it down and watching

tv .. I say that every nite and turn the tv on but fall asleep before

I even see anything ,,wake up 2 hrs later and shut it off .. I KNOW

im the only one in the world does that too lol.. Nitey Nite.. :-)
