~Loose Wire~

What a nasty rainy cold wet snowy day today lol..That just about
describes it too.. So windy a wire came loose from the side of the
house..it had gone thru a rather large cedar by the side of the house-
here by the living room I was looking out to see if it had snowed and
saw it there. It was very low, and draped over another wire.. thats
not good.. I dont know what kind of wire it is..but I called the

electric company and told them.. It may be cable or phone. I have no
idea. But I dont like seeing that out there hanging and that tree
steady pulling at it.. I hope the electric companywill come soon and
see what it is and who to call to fix it.. makes me nervous, I still hear
that wind howling out there..bad nite..good snuggler nite.:-)

I really didnt do alot today..I had a couple long distance phone

calls from friends I hadnt heard from in awhile..Sara and I had

not talked in a long time..and we sure were over due for a nice

chat..it was good to hear her as well..shes quite active in Pliati?

or something like that to help tone body muscles.. Sara is a

triple, congenital..and she needs to keep fit to be able to move..
I felt badly for her as she has a very bad shoulder..the rotator

cup or something is giving her alot of pain..She is so adept in

taking care of herself..she lives alone even..shes an amazing

woman and I sure missed her..shes a dear..but like all of us

having a hard way to go..financially..it seems thats how it is

for most of us..and there isnt one thing we can do about it.. We

all try..well the amps I know do..all are hard workers, but we

still live day to day..I wish I could find that nice place with a few

houses on it..for some one like me and sara to be able to live

well.. Well I did find it.. 2 houses..6 cabins..on a lake..15 acres..

be perfect.. a barn for sara's art work and studio..it could be

a good thing..we are both good strong women and not afraid

of working to get what we need..we could both make extra

money..Ahhh wishful thinking..but..we need these daydreams

that give us something that we hope for..dream for..and who

knows.. i may win the lottery..and guess how long before I

get that place on the lake I want or even that train ride I would

love to take..oh well ..good thing we dont know whats ahead..

then we arent disappointed if what we hope for really isnt there..

I had a great surprise today besides the phone calls..I was

sitting at my computer and there was a loud knock on the door

scared the crap otta me..I was NOT expecting anyone.. I yelled

"who is it?" I hear "police open up" and I almost fell out of my

chair.!. I sat a minute and I hear a voice say " LOIS, open the

door is shirley and Im gonna wet my pants hurry up!" I laffed..

i coulda killed Stanley tho ..stinker..lol..they came here bearing

gifts..I am so pleased.. she said early christmas..She brought

candy, flowers..a toaster, cannister set..and THE Most gorgeous

wall decoration..its so PERFECT.. its a white and dark blue

pitcher with daisies in it.. It will look so good on the wall I cant

stand waiting to put it up...Penny couldnt come today bad brakes

so she is coming tomorrow..then we will play wall decorator lol..

I was kinda glad they came..too cuz I burnt the light bulb out in

the kitchen this am.. I woke up did my business and went to the

kitchen hit the switch, heard a ping! , and it was still dark.. I sat

and looked up..well no way I can reach that up there.. So Stan

put it a new bulb in for me.. I think I may splurge and get some

of those like new neon ones that last for 20 years or some

thing..That bulb going ..just another reminder..'Lois your short"

lol.. well someones gotta be lol..

It snowed today and I tried taking some pics but it didnt show

up cuz of the screen..was that thick kind of flake.that just floats

down. that almost flutter when they hit your face..I love those

kind of snowfalls..I feel bad for those that have to drive in it..We

had ice and snow warnings all day..Tonite and tomorrow its

sposed to snow..about 2 to 3 inches they said on the weather.

I know I did nuthin..but I am tired..Dutch is just bound and mind

set that I get up about 4:30 or 5 every morning..today was NO

exception..well today tho.he decided to wake mom up was to

bring me a toy and lets play fetch..that lasted for a while..till I

was wide awake and said ok ok im up..then he hears that,

and is gone..Time to crawl up on my little nest in there and

snuggle down and see how long I can watch tv. I hope they

came and checked that wire..Makes me nervous.. I told Chris

these trees needed trimmed.. I hope this wire wont be a

problem I just worry about a power surge.. I am half way set

to turn off and unplg this computer just to be safe..I would

cringe if I lost everything..no no..lol.not a good thing..Well

time to hit the hay.nitey nite :-)
