~Checkbook Time Again~

Its that time again to balance my checkbook.. I bet I pulled
it out 3 times today and put it back, then I looked at the bank
statement about twice, and put that back and I STILL have
NOT done my checkbook.. I get all this at once..the bank state
ment and the bills.. I guess that's really the best way to do it
anyway all at once. But its depressing, for me anyway, when
I get done and it sometimes...balances..then I have to work
hard to find where the mistake was, and usually its a dumb
one of being in a hurry. I have balanced and been really off..
well that's not balancing then is it? ok it didn't balance and
I have to say I do draw a line at the last place I balanced
then I don't have to go back 3 months or more..makes it
easier.. I have to keep a very close eye on it..its very easy
to 'hang paper' as I call it...ive never done that..and I don't
want to... It happened to me once but it wasn't my fault...:-)

Really, it was the company's they didn't deposit the money to
cover everyones paycheck..this was on Friday, well everyone
cashed them and I deposited ours..and the next week I got
over draft charges for all the checks I had written..at 35.oo a
check it added up..I had written about 4..and the ones that
hadnt gone thru I wrote and sent I had to stop payment on
them or they would bounce too until it was cleared by the
bank and the company..was a mess.. Years ago when you
wrote a check you had 3 days before that check would go
through your bank, in case you needed to get the money in it
or something.. Now..you have 24 hours..the checks are
processed so fast..daily...I worked for a check clearing house
was a very hectic job, but a great company to work for..EDS.
They really took care of their people.. That I think is where
my feet arthritis really started because I had to be on my feet
constantly at this job, standing... and, on concrete..I would do
my work then take a break and sit down, when I went to get
back up and walk I couldn't hardly step my feet hurt so bad I
had to sit back down sometimes.. The Dr told me then I had
arthritis very bad in my heels , that with in 10 years I would be
in a wheel chair..This was in 93 I think..not sure..when I lived
in Green Bay. She was right, I am, but not for that reason...

Green Bay was one of the best places I have to say I have ever
lived..Great town..so much to do indoors or out. and that huge
river, the Fox, goes right through it.. I had that good job there,
so did David, he worked 4 days on, 4 days off, so you know, on
those off days what we were doing..either headed to a certain
spot we knew or going on the lookout for new places, which we
really enjoyed. There is a fish hatchery there and you can see
the salmon as they climb the ladder they made for them..On
the other side they get the eggs and hatch them and make sure
they are all hatched to really keep the strain of huge fish going.
The wall is all glass and you can see them swimming in kind of
a circle getting up speed to jump to the next level..these are so
much safer than the natural ones with all the rocks..It was nice
to see the care they took of this place and all the streams in
the area ..they stocked them at certain times of the year. David
would camp out on the side of the river for 3 days to be there
when they opened those gates to let those fish go... They would
let them go all the time..but at certain times they let most of
them go and it was like a rush of fish.. Most times David went
it rained and he came home soaking wet and got deathly
sick, but the statement was, "I don't care, was worth it I got
fish" and would smile.

I had a surprise today, It was so hot in here I decided to turn
on the ceiling fan it generates more air than that other fan
AND I wouldn't have to fight to get in back and forth out of
the living room..I pulled that chain this morning and LB did
NOT run.. I was surprised..hes been fine all day.. I have no
idea what changed his mind but, Im glad.. I need that little
fan in the bedroom and now if I don't have to take it out of
there and can use this one..Im very glad..Hes up on the
couch asleep, so hes just fine..Maybe he was just having a
bad day those 2 other times..I know he was scared..could
be its so hot and the fan isnt on in the bedroom..Dutch is
out here on his favorite perch the back of the recliner, that
he decided if he wants cool he needs to not be a scaredy
cat.. Its a really pretty fan, I didn't want to shut it off to take
a picture of it.. was here when I moved in..I wonder tho ,
what it will do to my electric bill...My next one will tell.

I got up early and Penny was here today, we had pizza for
lunch..Little Cesares has a 5.oo large pizza at lunch time.
Its really good too. So I got that and I have some left of
course, I like left over pizza its really good.. Im hungry and
my hot butt needs to get out of this hot chair.."Nitey Nite"

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? Love ya..and Thanks!
Always, Lois ****

God Bless you is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe
until I write again..

    Hello Lois
Yes it hard at times to keep it balance...I hate it when a place keep the check for a long time before they cash it...Wal Mart now get the money right now, and hands back your check for you too keep...I like it when it cashed right then and not days or months later...easier to keep balance checkbook I think...I don't think anyone should keep a check over a week or month to cash it in.
And I hate it if I make a misstate on the bank book. it just cost to much.
    Pam still having big problem.
I work this weekend for her.I might not be on the computer because of it...
    God bless you my friend.
    Mary

Herring eggs for katz? hehehe..your too funny Momar.. Green Bay is a great town..

Some places only process checks once a month is why..which they dont care that it messes up a check book to keep carrying a check..aint easy.. I
    hope Pam gets better..

Ok d..is this a test? well my translator says you says:

Beloved Sussigkind... You are so like an angel of the sky. Please, nicely give Mick a small Ku à Ÿ
