~DayDreams~

I wonder why we have daydreams? Thoughts of things we sort

of hope or want to happen..I think maybe its what keeps us

going..looking ahead ..forward and maybe wanting more..or

at least better. I don't think a definite road map to get to those

daydreams will be there, its kind of a day to day thing.. I know

of all my daydreams, well I call them hearts desires too. I don't

have many, maybe 3. To live a better quality of life with no worries,

to live on the water, and to take a nice long train ride. It keeps

me looking ahead and trying to make it a bit better every day.

I kinda do have my doubts that it will get a lot better but I hope

it does...soon as my prince can get out of that maze hes in

and get here ...that might help with some of my daydream

sub catagories...Im NOT stating them...

Kenny came by, saw the wet again spot on the ceiling yesterday

and left and ive not heard a word since.. I don't know what to

make of it..They have just too many houses..they need to just

go to one every day for a week or until they finish the work there

and then go on to the next. Its a shame whom ever it was let

this house get so run down from lack of care..someone that

lived here sure liked flowers im glad to say, this back could

be so pretty. I can see the roses out of the windows and you

cant even tell where she picked the ones she brought in..

and buds all over all of them... I cant wait to see the peonie..

should open anytime.. Gardens are a lot of work, but so very

worth the enjoyment you get out of them...

This rain has made my cabinet doors where I keep my cat

food and potatoes theyre sticking.. I had to use a knife to dig

it open from the side..the potatoes are kept in a bin that

tips open and I had to do the same thing with it.. The base

ment has started to get a damp musty odor, and Penny got

some deodorizers for down there.. My material is getting

so ruined.. I should have a big yard sale and get rid of this

stuff that I cant use and havent used for ages.. Would give

me the extra money I will need if and when I do have to

move..would be a good start for a savings..

Lori came yesterday and keystone is buying a new fridge for

me. its not a big one..but it will have a freezer..I called, of

course, Donnie to see if he would go with Lori to bring it

here..Its from Home Depot..They will deliver it for 65.oo but

they will not bring it inside the house..what good is a delivery

that is only half done? and that much money? I called and

asked Donnie if I could make an appointment for next

Monday at 5 for him to be here and he can go and get the

fridge with Lori..Im glad he has a truck.. I will give him some

money for gas..well no..he owes me ten dollars so ..that will

cover gas.. He thinks Gran is giving him this little one.. well.

he is just TOO spoiled..its true but I didn't tell him that..And

If I could trade it for a air conditioner that would be good.. I

saw a portable air conditioner that was on wheels..they must

be new.. I didn't know they had those, They have a small one

here that is pretty reasonable..so maybe Donnie and I can

work out a deal..He stays so busy, hes working on a friends

race car and he loves it.. Men and their toys.

When Dawn was here she stayed for a little while and we

talked..she said she left the dog, Jerky, home and he needed

to be let outside..She had taken him for a walk the other

night and ran into another neighbor with a lab, they walked

the dogs down to a big field..the dogs ran and played and

had a good time..before they knew it 4 other neighbors

came up with their dogs..and she said they all had the best

time... the humans chatted while the dogs played and ran

and got all tired..Dawn said Jerky slept like a baby when he

got home.. She said they had another 'Play Date' again and

she needed to get home so Jerky could go and play with

his friends.. Just like taking kids to the playground or park..

Jerky is a huge chocolate lab..hes 2 now I think...his tail will

clear off a end table with one sweep.. He loves cats and

plays with theirs all the time.. he doesn't know my 2 hate

dogs..LB gets so mad when Jerky is out there eating their

food.. well I guess I would too if company came and ate

all mine.. :-)

Today was so cool it felt wonderful.. and its sposta stay like

this for awhile.. I keep reading on MSN news that its gonna

be a bad storm season this year..and its started already,

that's what I dread about summer.If this was my house I

would get one of those stair thingies and make it so I could

get into the basement.. Im glad I can get into the kitchen..

Im hungry...I think some tomatoes on toast would be great..

some cheese, ya..that sounds good, any volunteers for

garden work would be greatly appreciated.. I may get some

tomatoes that grow in pots..I need some GREEN ones..

I cannot wait for fried green tomatoes.. only once a year can

you have them.. I eat them while I am fixing them..by the time

I am done cooking them I am on the last one ..I have NO

control at all..Time for food and to say "nitey nite"
