~Bird Invasion~

One of the dozens of birds outside, I used the zoom, but it seems the

focus goes out when I do.. I try to use the photo fix but it still

doesn't really clear it up..It could be too that since I am taking

these through a window that may be the problem.. I was in

the kitchen making a coffee and noticed the birds started to

come in..There were dozens out there I bet..We had a good

time watching them, but every time they would see us they

would get scared and fly off ,, specially when they would see Dutch

or LB sitting there drooling at them..then Dutch would slap the glass

and really scare them.. he even ducks when they fly close to the

window..like they are going to hit him..hes fun to watch.. :-)
I did get this closer up one as he sat on the fence..they are

really tiny birds..you can see another in the tree right behind

him..My yard is a very busy place.. I used to love sitting out

on my lanai as I called it when I lived in Indiana watching all

the animals and just enjoying the fresh clean air.. The railroad

tracks ran right behind our condo and at first the noise was

awful..but soon we never even noticed that..when I would sit

out and one would slowly go by it was amazing to see all the

graffiti written and drawn all over the cars..some of the work was

actually very artistic and quite well done.. Was like having a rolling

art show..
to show my point of the birdie invasion this morning..how many

birds do you see in that photo? look close..I count at least 7. and

there were more than that there, some had taken off when they

saw us..I guess these figured they were up in the tree so we were

not a threat..
Look at my beautiful rose bush..something has attacked and eaten

every leaf just about.. those left have holes in them.. I used to use

sevin dust on them when I had them before and I just didn't think that

I would need that, but by the looks of that bush I need some thing..

Poor thing.. All the yard needs such a good going over.. It could be

so very nice.. Everyones lawn is totally scorched.. I look at mine and

the ones across the road and they are all dried up.. we need rain..

and none in sight till Wednesday, my stumps will let me know at least

2 days ahead of time..they always do..they say Wednesday, lets see

Monday if they ache :-)

When I feel them sort of almost swell up..they feel absolutely huge and

the skin feels tight..it isnt but to my head that's how it feels.. They ache

and I have to keep moving and changing my sitting or they will drive

me totally nutz.. when they feel like that its going to rain.. I hope

it does in one way, but then if it does..well there goes my roof again..

Would you believe that little dweeb of a man STILL has NOT come and
gotten that check NOR has he bothered to return my call about the lease.
WHAT is wrong with this? I think I must be really a glutton for punish-
ment to put up with this.. HE is NOT a good business person..but then
all slumlords are in that business for is the money , not to help people
find homes at all..that's sad.. He keeps on..this gal will make

arrangements to go down to that office and take this check down and

hand it to his daddy and just have a chat with him about just exactly what

they plan to do- Id like to know. 2 months I will have been here for a year.

It sure doesn't seem that long already does it? I have NO idea where the

time has gone.. The bad part is.. the saying is..time flies when you are

having fun..hmmm I think I missed the fun part most of this time :-)

Penny and I talked about a stomach bug that is going around pretty bad.

She mentioned it to me yesterday, said she hoped I didn't get it.. I hate

to tell my girl ,... but..well I have made many runs to that bathroom since

last nite in more ways than ONE! THAT is NOT fun.. I was in such a hurry

once today that my brake didn't lock tight on the left and when I went to

scoot across that side of my chair moved and I almost sat on the floor!

If it hadnt been for the arm rails around my potty I would have hit it..I am

really glad I have them..they have saved me a few times...

I havent eaten anything but toast and quite frankly my deah, I don't think

I shall risk eating anything else .. A few pounds lost here or there is NOT

a bad thing :-) and I don't feel like continuing this race every so often to

the bathroom.. . . Gawd,, I just tell everything.. well its the joys of wheel

chair life.. I cant wait till last second.. First twinges of anything I better

get this chair to rolling.. I m gonna roll and get some ice tea I think that

will be ok and not cause any dire affects I HOPE.. Im glad this sort of

crap doesn't affect my GORGEOUSNESS :-D I HAD to say that.. :-)
