~Old Photo Again~

I was going through some of my TONS of old photos..I

found this one.. I have another I think I put here before

taken at the same time but I was by my car.. and my ex

I believe was in it..He was in this one too but well I LOVE
that I can fix my photos.. well resize and cut out ickky parts.

Its not real clear, Im not sure who took the photo..It could

have been Willie's brother Beau, we were at his apartment

and all had gone swimming, that's why my hair looks crappy.

But I look at these old photos.. I didn't look too shabby back

then.. I wonder why I didn't know that? Fooey, I coulda had

BIG FUN! I remember that purse, was my favorite, a clutch..

not good to carry in a border town, we were in El Centro, in

California..the place I honestly HATED to be..was awful.. so

hot..horrible hot..no air at all..and we were 3 miles from

Mexico..

I went to town to shop..I always carried my purse just like that,

but loo and you can maybe see there is a strap on it.. its not

easy to spot.. I kept that around my wrist and kind of held it..

As I was walking from my car to the store, a man came up

from behind me and jerked it out from under my arm.. he

took off running.. I had that strap around my arm..and as soon

as I felt that purse move, I stood sort of braced and part way

turned.. I saw the man and I held that strap and PULLED HARD,

and he wasn't expecting me to be holding it..he thought a grab

and run..well I pulled so hard, he came flying backwards, on his

butt ..and Jumped straight up..yelling "IM SORRY, IM SORRY"

as he ran off down the street arms up in the air! I stood there

and laughed at him.. it wasn't a really good town to go to alone.

I did VERY seldom..usually a few of us from the job, since we

all lived in the KOA there we all decided to go into town together.

Just in case.. Or of course I would go with Willie..and as mean

and bad as he was..well I pity anyone that would have even come

to close to me..he was a very possessive man..but then look how

GORGEOUS I was then too! :-)
Donnie came by today to, he thought, get all his insulation from the

garage. Well..he went to his ex mother in laws to get it and apparently

she had it piled with a lot of junk she was hauling off to the dump and

he wasn't going to take it for them..so he has to wait till hopefully

tomorrow and he can get all of it.. Its wrapped in plastic the bundles

and he came in his truck so he just put one of them into the back of

it..that's him going back home.. He will be back tomorrow or as soon

as he can get his trailer.. We talked about cutting that tree out from

the hibiscus one by the side of the house here..his saw is broke..or

something.. but he did say he would put a phone jack in the bed

room for me and I want one in the bathroom.. I have gotten caught

in there so many times..and if I don't answer people get a tad

worried.. so I figure I can have a jack put in there..save me from
getting all hurried and try to get to it before it stops ringing.. Well I
tell every one if I don't answer on the first try, give me enough time to
more than LIKELY get OFF the potty and back to the phone.. I never
remember to take it.. I did a couple times..but ..I shouldn't tell this.. ..
Well by the time I get in there I Have forgotten my phone is by the side
of me.. I have had them fall to the floor and I have even had them .only
ONCE..slide into my lap, go in front of me and straight into the toilet.. I
told you I did that with my TV clicker.. why I had to get a new one.. :-)
so I think just putting a jack in there would be easier.. I better make
sure the phone I put in there has a MUTE button..THAT might come
in handy :-D

We talked and he ate candy and he is so anxious to get his garage

finished..he works so hard and does so many things.. He goes to the

race track in a little town not far from here where they have races

every Friday nite.Donnie had a race car years ago and this man that

hes helping now..helped him.. Donnie is an excellent mechanic... so

last nite at the races..just before going over the finish line almost neck

and neck with another car, but ahead, the other car moved over, hit

the friends front side and spun him out and around and straight into

the wall ...totally demolishing the car..he did it deliberately.. NOW..

Donnie has spent HOURS, days, on this car..and this other driver

deliberately did that..almost killed his friend..he wasn't hurt badly,

but talk about MAD! The other driver tried to walk away from it..and

a man yelled to grab him..he was going to be banned from racing

and to make him wait.. Well as mad as Donnie was he needed a

reason to touch this man ..:-D He reaches out and picks the guy up

by his shirt front ..the mans feet are NOT On the ground now..and

Donnie says "this guy aint going no where" as the guy dangles there.

I could just see that.. Was a shame tho that happened..they gave

the guy the race..which was really nice..THese arent fancy race cars

but these guys spend a lot of time on them..some are really nice..

these arent old demolition derby kind.. I love those things. Was one

thing I really enjoyed..I always went to the fair the night of that.. I

would tour the fair ..then go to the derby..was fun to watch..they would

smack each other so hard. it was dangerous..and funny too.. I miss

not going to the fair..and soon if not already they have started in every

county.. I entered a quilt once and won first prize.. :-)

Well my prizes for this day are out in the kitchen .. I had Penny re

supply my blueberry muffins.. They are so good.. huge ones too !!

Hope something good is on tv..I like that travel channel.. then I can

see all those great beautiful countrys over seas..I saw one last

nite a program about Switzerland.. ohhh my my what a lovely place.

I don't think there is an ugly place anywhere tho.. "Nitey Nite"
