~I Got A Call From Daddy~ :-)
I only had to make 4 phone calls to Chris and finally his DAD
phoned and said they , he and his son Kenny, would replace
the roof ..parts at a time... He said Chris was gone all week
end..I told him about him calling about the rent balance, that
he said he needed it to make his house payment.. Well the
short of this long tale of Crap...Ken, the daddy, said that he
and the boy Kenny would be here tomorrow.. I mentioned about
the lease not being signed either... He said he would take care
of that tomorrow as well.. I have serious doubts about Chris as
a reality man.. He and I had a deal from day one, and hes not
kept his word at all.. the main one of fixing this place up..
These two are so stupid..Im not telling them though..Do you know
all they would have to do is fill out some paper work.quite a bit,
but that he could get this house insulated, all new windows and
water heater and the wiring ..everything redone that needs it,
mainly because Im in here.. well renting it.. I talked to the lady
down at CAA, she told me the same thing, in fact of business I
even have all the paperwork already to do it.. but Im not.. no.
they don't appreciate having a good tenant, and wont help me,
Im not going out of my way to do anything.. NOW, if this was
MY house, yes, and if it WAS even rented but in good shape,
Chris had kept his word..I would..but not now.. I am hoping to
find a bigger better place... Penny & I talked about that today..
Penny got here this morning to a big mess..was MY fault too.
I was facing the sink and was going to get a cup of water for
the coffee maker, well I forgot about the little filter thingie in
the maker that held the coffee grounds that needed cleaned
out to make fresh, so I opened the top, and reached kinda
over the side of my chair over the handle bar, and got it out,
as I moved to put in the sink in front of me,, my sleeve on my
top got caught on the handle bar, stopped my movement
right then and the coffee thingie hit the floor, I wasn't expecting
that. Coffee grounds were everywhere.. I sat there for a while,
cuz no matter which way I moved I would hit them and run over
and then theyre stuck in the little groovies on my front tires.. I
had no choice if I was going to clean that up... The more I tried,
I had gotten a few paper towels.. the more I spread them around.
I had to stop every little bit to move, and they were wet now, I
had already made a cup..they werent dry.. so these granules of
coffee are sticky and wet and coffee, they left a trail of dark on
my light floor.. Well I got up the worst and decided it would be
easier to just let them dry then sweep them.. and that's what I
did, I warned Penny when she walked in the door, she laughed
and said not to worry she would clean it up..AND empty those
4 pans of water that I had to move over to the side so I could go
to bed thanks to that drippy ceiling...
Penny is very talented in crocheting and knitting and she knows how
to sew.. She and I talked to day after I had her go down to the base
ment and check on the smell and for water .. She said its musty-
smells not bad, but its there, and there was water under and behind
the stairs going down there.. She moved the old card table I have
down there that was my grandfathers, the old brown kind with wooden
legs.. She and I talked about making quilts and quillows to make some
extra money.. If I had a bigger place with a room to set up for sewing
I have NO doubt we could make some money, if not making and
selling quilts, I had a excellent business starting to build up making the
tops that nurses and orderlies wear, and they are very easy to make.
She needs and wants the extra money too..Plus sewing is fun..Shes
not a fancy sewer, but she can sew straight ..has to be VERY
straight line..well that's all she needs to do.. She thought that was a
good idea.. I even said a 2 story house would work.she could have
the top floor and me the lower.. With all the material I have down there
in the basement..to use it all I bet..hmmm. I bet we could make 50
quilts if not more..Lap quilts.. Sure would be nice to sew again too..
I have a serious rash on my arms..my left is very bad. Its so red and its
actually HOT..The rash is on the underside from the elbow to the wrist..
then on the inside, where the elbow bends.. The right has the same ..
not as bad as the left though.. It itches so bad I almost scream it drives
me nuts..I try not to scratch..the more you scratch an itch the more it
itches ,, so I rub it.fast as I can though..creates friction :-) It gets so bad
sometimes the only way I can stop it and get any relief is to run cold
water over it for a while..that seems to ease it.. I figured out what it is..
And this is weird, but its the only thing it can be.. Its the arm rests on
this new manual ..I had this chair out last year..I got a rash.. I went back
to my old one cuz I didn't like this one it was too tight and hard to roll..
the rash went away..A few months ago..I got this newer chair back out
cuz the brake went out on my old one remember? well..this rash is
back with a vengence.. I don't know what else it could be.. I ordered
new arm rests..and until then I have covered them with towels..and
pinned them in place.. they still move, and when my arms hit them
they start to itch.. that's what it has to be.. I cant think of anything else.
Penny noticed to day how awful and dark and red my left arm is..I
don't like that.. I cant take chances with fingers and arms n stuff.. I
could lose them too with PVD...that's not a good thing and I sure don't
wanna provoke an infection.. no no that would not be good.. I am
going to call my dr..talk to Cherise and see if I have to go in..They
gave me a prescription before I still have it. but its old now.. I hope
I don't have to go... I will if I have to.. I need some relief on this thing..
getting really aggravating..
Well I havent eaten since this morning when Penny and I had a
biscuit and sausage from McD's..Lunch was chili which is usually
pretty good so I saved it for supper, I got up early again, why I
have no idea, getting to be a habit, early to bed tonight...and
probly early to rise again..oh well.. at least I do that's the main
thing! :-) "nitey nite"
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya, and thanks!!! :-)
God Bless you, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again.....

Thou shouldst get thee to a dermatologist for that rash. It could be poison ivy which travels in the air.
I never got it because I have oily skin, but it used to grow in our yard when I was married and lived in the suburbs.

Honeydear!
Itching and scratching is very annoying.... I have got a spot at the palm of my hand that itches all the time, and i scratch, and scratch, and scratch, and then i scratch again... I asked my friend who is a professor in orthopedics what it could be, he decided it must be a nerve. There is nothing wrong dermatologically so it must be a nerve he says.... Well sorta phantomsensationfeeling (wow what a word) i can think, and that give me SOME experience of what you my dear has to deal with. I hope your phantoms keep in background, as much as they can.
Well about spreading cofee all around isnt all that bad, cuz the world needs it! ITS COFEE THAT KEEP OUR PLANET FLOATING, and its Lois and her blog that make the computer worth starting and worth start another day. All those little things that make our life really worth living. To give us something to hope for, and you KNOW what i HOPE and LIVE for dont ya?
Take good care of your remainings and your itching parts too....
KAO´s my dear
Your own

Hi, Honey,
Is there any way you could exchange the armrests on your new chair for the ones on the old chair? If you could, and maybe it's only a couple of screws on each rest, it would solve your arm rash problem. I re-covered the armrests on an Otto Bok chair for my Russian friend when she was over here a couple of years back, and I remember the were held by just two screws. I bet Penny, bless her heart, could do it for you.
Take care, honey. Lots Of Love & Great Big Hugs from
Raife
