~I Was A Meanie Today!~ :-(

I was mean today, and it being Sunday too.. I should be so

ashamed of myself but well like they say, tit for tat.. What

this mean GORGEOUS WEEBLE did, I phoned my landlord

at 6:30 am. I did, I had been up since 4:45..Guess why?..You

see that photo up there,well my little stumpies got fooled and

they didn't KNOW it was gonna rain! It hasnt stopped.. Im so

mad about listening to these drips..its 9:10 am right now, Im

writing this..by the time this evening gets here and nothing is

done I will be in a rage!!.. Anyway, I was a big MEANIE..and I

don't give a ratz patootie that I WAS! :-D he deserves it as far

as Im concerned, Im up..well "Morning Little Man " :-D
I took my cordless phone over by the drip that you can see

splashing in that LITTLE bowl.. ive already filled up 4, and I
have steadily increased the size, I havent figgured out how

I am going to carry these full bowls of water back out to the

kitchen.. NOW, is this a reminder for me.."Heyyy, Lois,, your

in a chair".. its like the light bulb that blew in the ceiling.. I

dialed old ChrissyBoy, and it rang and rang, like Lilly Tomlin

says "one ringy dingy, two ringy dingy"...his answering machine

came on.. I waited for the "BEEP" and held the phone so he

could hear the "DRIP DRIP DRIP" I had DELIBERATELY put

a empty one, you know how loud a drip is when it first starts

to fill a container and from that height? :-D it DRIPPED! I

put the phone up to my ear and said EVER so sweetly "Chris,

this is Lois, Im up HONEY, I thought you might like to listen to

what I am and get woke up the same way, I let you sleep tho,

aint I nice? Ive been up since 4! I started to call you then ,but

am letting you sleep,, We need to TALK CHRIS, soon , VERY

soon, have a nice Sunday" and hung up the phone.. When I

said the last few words my tone was NOT sweet...
Theres the ceiling, isnt that cute? I just love this.. I wonder if

Chris will say again "I guess I will have to just replace that roof".

well no..how big a tarp can he buy? do that then..do something,

don't let little Kenny up there on a hot day now, with his tar, trying

to find where that bad spot really is.. he cant get into a attic to see

the underside, there is none.. so hes more or less guessing.. Im

not saying he doesn't KNOW, this has to have gone on for a long

time as to me this looks like the 3rd or 4th leaks up there..over by

the other wall above the couch it did..they didn't paint the ceiling,

so I can see where they repaired it..and that its stained again..

Well lets see what the boy does.. Im really tired of this.. He STILL

has NOT come and gotten that check, and called me on the 25th

cuz I wrote the check the same day and the date is on it..and I wrote

it into my calendar..Hes not returned my call from last week about

the lease not being signed, I don't know what to do.. I think im going

to call Kelly at Keystone, or Lori..this is through them... They saw

this place before I moved in..and can see nothing but 2 windows have

been put in.. Well Im tired of all this.. and the biggie is.. Im REALLY

tired of complaining about it.. So, I guess like they say, its time to

take the bull by the horns and call in help and try to see just what I can

do.. This is just not right..So anyway, I do hope the BOY has a good

day and since he said his house is in the same condition as this, well

maybe hes leaky too!! I hope so.. :-D
You can see the drip falling I think that's what it looks like to me

anyway.It was pouring really bad, in fact there is a drain out side

by the curb and the corner, the water rushes down to that thing..

and when it rains this hard for a long time..well that worries me, I

have a basement..and it could easily get water in..in fact it has had.

I mentioned that to Penny just friday...if there was water down there

and was there any kind of smell.. I ask her that every week.. My

material down there is just driving me nuts I worry about it every day

just about.. Boy, I have more than one problem hey?

I sat here getting madder and madder and its early morning now, but

if I don't hear from ChrissyBoy today, I am calling Donnie tonite and

asking him tomorrow if he will come here straight from work, he gets

off at 2:30, takes him 45 minutes..come get me..and he and I go and

see the kid.. I think I may need backup that shows they wont let me be

pushed around.. And Chris don't wanna get flip with Donnie there, trust

me..But I think that might help.. Some people take advantage of some

one like me..we need those to stand up for us since we cant really stand

anymore.. and I KNOW my boy will.. Do you know, when he took me and

had to leave me at the homeless shelter, cuz he knew no where else to

take me, he cried on the way home he felt so bad.. that's my boy... :-)
Now, looky out the side window there, still raining..see over on the

right? that white thing? looks like a bird hey? a sea gull or pidgeon..

we get sea gulls here, ive seen them when I was at the apartments.

this much rain save that bird a trip to the lake down the road , I

don't know..maybe was gonna surf in the river of rainwater going

down the sides of the roads to the drains...You can see at the edge

of the curb across the street there is a drain there too..You see how

close the neighbors house is to the drain over there, I wonder if they

have a problem with a wet basement.. Penny said the basement is

huge, as big as up here, I could fix this place really cute...anyway,

that's NOT a bird.. I sat and watched it..its just some white plastic

bag, and landed that way to look like a bird..see that round thing?

that's a basketball..its been there for 3 days.. no one has come to

get it.. Penny and the lunchgirl Chris, asked whos ball it was..well

its not mine, I don't think I could really play basketball now could I?

Im surprised that whos ever it is didn't come and get it..unless it

fell out of the back of a truck or something.. Penny called yesterday

and said she may be in town today and would drop my laundry off,

she didn't have time then.. so I hope so..then she can empty these

pans and bowls.. I wish I had lids for them then maybe I could.but

on this carpet, I need BOTH hands to roll.. why I cant carry anything.

When I carry stuff , coffee or what ever out of the kitchen I give my

self a good push with just one hand ..to get thru the door and as I

coast past my desk, I reach out and put the drink on there, then

use both hands to roll up to it.. I have to have a plan of attack to

do everything or I run into fixes I get stuck in..

Well I have to find another pot for drips.. I will do a update this

evening before I post this..on the events of this MEAN MAD DAY.

Well its 4:30 pm..not one thing has changed, other than the rain has

stopped and I am not listening to that drip.. I have NOT heard one

thing from Chris YET... I almost forgot to put todays photo in this

ive been so mad all day, wait till tomorrow, Donnie is gone till later

tonite, but I plan to set up a time when he can be here too.. I think

I need to show a little bit of force and a witness is not a bad idea

either..Chris sure don't wanna call Donnie a liar,.. This has to be

resoved before I go totally nutz..Im tired of this.. I check the paper

every day for places to rent..My ramp is moveable..it goes with me.

Either Chris fixes this or color me gone as soon as I find some

where better..Its such a shame, this is a great location and this

could be fixed into a cute little cottage style house..I can see all

the possibilites it has..sadly I cant do them..so I think I should look

for a place really more suitable for me.. I needed this place really

bad last year I had no choice but to rent this or explode..so now,

before I do again..Im not gonna rush, but my eyes and ears will be

open,, and I don't care what state, county or country either!

Right now im moving to the kitchen, I have some wonderful taters

fryin with onion ..slow...till theyre nice and brown, sliced potatoes.

I like to make sandwiches out of them..its really good.. I wont today

I don't have any bread.. I will tomorrow ..Penny will make some good

homemade bread for me.. its time again for bread. and time for me

to say "Nitey Nite" :-)
