~Rain & Big Daddy!~

Well there you see this morning looking out the window that

was at 9 am.. Right now its 5:20..and my sister just phoned said

that she is in the middle of a bad storm there and it is headed

this way.. Im glad to know that .. means more drips.. I woke to that

sound again this morning at 330..I have been up since..needless

to say I am tired.. I am very sick of listening to that drip already..

you can see how hard it was raining I couldn't even see out the

window it was so bad..and it just started raining again...:-(
There is big daddy..:-) no that's the head guy that started all

this..Ken.. his 2 boys, Chris , my landlord, and Kenny the ..

well ok..maintence man.. He showed up today I was very glad.

He went through the house and I told him about the floor in the

bathroom, he went and looked...agreed was bad..asked.."did

your helper scrub all the paint spots?" I told him that wasn't

Pennys job to do that when it should have been cleaned in the

first place, she doesn't have enough time here to do all that

kind of stuff.. I was pleased she helped me paint.. Shes not

getting down there and scrubbing that ugly floor in there that

needs replaced..Its AWFUL..around the toilet looks like at

any time it could go crashing thru the floor.. He and I talked

and I am hoping he will fix this up.. You see the boy greeting

him and then neither of the boys would even go near him.which

for them..well makes me wonder cuz animals know the good and

the bad..mine do.. and they did NOT go near him at all ..

Ken agreed about the roof after he looked at the ceiling..you can

see the pail there to catch the rain drops..He said he and Kenny

would be over and do half the roof at a time..he said they had to

replace the garage roof a few years ago.so they have had this

little place and just NOT taken care of it..well...if they had it would

be in better shape I think.. He did mention that he would sell it to

me..I told him to see what kind of deal he could work out..for me

to get it financed or to even try to get it listed with HUD..I don't know

if they will help me to buy this house.. I talked to my sister about it,

she phoned to tell me they were back from PA, and she had gotten

a new scooter..like a power chair.. given to her by a church member.

she was glad.. she was going to get one..Her legs are not doing

good..she has fluid building in them and they swell ..and hurt her..she

has no strength in them and has a very very hard time walking for

any distance.. I honestly worry for her.. She is diabetic..Im not.. but

diabetics are amputees too..that is one of the fears of it..

Her new house is wheel chair accessible..the lady owned it was in

one but was a post polio or something..all the floors were hardwood,

but my sister had them all carpeted..shes still waiting for the rest to

be done.. shes really enjoying her new house..its on 11 acres and

she said there are so many deer out there that they are spending

more money feeding them than themselves :-) Its a big house, 3

bedroom and 2 bath with a den and family room and 2 porches front

and back..she is very fortunate..
I took a photo or 2 of my arms.. the left if you look you can see

the knot on the end of the elbow..and the dark..the line at the

top of my arm.the light and the dark? look over on the right

arm..in the inside of the elbow..I look like I am a junkie with all

that ugliness on my arms.. I have NO idea what it is.. I know

my elbow today is so sore.. I cant even touch it..it hurts so bad..
I am going to call the Dr tomorrow and see if I can get in to see

her.. its driving me nuts and it should NOT hurt like this..and with

a rash..on both arms.. I don't know.. but something isnt right and

I cant take any chances..that arm worries me..my sister and I

talked about that..what if I had problems and lost the use of that

arm or lost the arm! I don't honestly know what I would do.. I know
I would not be able to live constantly alone..I would have to learn

how to transfer.. I know triples and quads do it..but the ones I

know were born that way and know no other way of life.. I hate

to even think about that.. Even if I lost the use for a short time..

and was bed bound.. I would NOT like that at all.. but then I have

no control just like I didn't with my legs..I have to do what I have

to do to make it.. Like I say.."TRY"
there is the inside of the left..you can see the red blotches..the

dark spots are where I have scratched.. I cant help it it itches SO

BAD!! drives me nutzzzz..cold water on it helps..when it really

gets bad its like its on fire..looks like pin sticks..or worse.. its

ugly.. and that good blue gel cream just does NOT work. I told

my sis about it..shes usually pretty good at diagnosis..and she

had NO idea..she had not heard of both..swelling ..rash and

then to hurt so badly right on the end of the elbow.. I cant even

touch it..let alone rest my arm on it.. no no..that is NOT doable..

Well what is doable..is that loaf of fresh made Hawaiian Sweet

Bread..I had a quick taste a bit ago.and well..its so good I wish

y'all had a bite..:-) Penny put it in the bread machine before she

left..and she did very good..she will be back again tomorrow,

as she has to be off Wednesday to go to some meeting for her

other job.. Im glad, we have a lot to do..my chair comes Thursday

and we have to find a place to put it..plus I want to get this place

kinda in spic and span shape I am having company Monday so

I want the house looking better than early salvation army you know?

Time for some sweet bread..some sweet bed.and TV?well getting

up that early when I get on that bed I don't think I am going to waste

my time turning the TV on.."nitey nite" :-)
