~Not a Good Sandwich~ :-(
I splurged today and had Penny get a fish sandwich for me
from Wendys. The new one I saw advertised on TV.. Well...
My opinion.?. it was over 3 dollars and It was awful.. McD's
is half that price and 50 times better.. The fish had no real
taste..and the taste that WAS there was not very good at
all.. The bun was awful.. I think they maybe expected a big rush
on these at lunch and made them ahead.. It was a huge
disappointment.. specially since I like their fries so well and
the chili.. For the price.. well if you want a fish sammich.. don't
get that new one from Wendys..go to McD's.. That's really
the ONLY sandwich I can eat from McD's.. I can eat their
breakfasts..but anything after that..no.. I CAN eat it.. but well
Im more or less just renting it as it just goes right through.. I
know LOTS of people that have this same problem with McD's.
While Penny was here she saw the boy Running around like a
nut meowing and looking at the ceiling.. I then remembered I
saw spider web again in the bathroom..She knew from the other
day, when I knocked the globe off the ceiling light that I would NOT
try to get a cobweb down.. She took my grabber and went and
got the one down.. then she REALLY started to look close along
the corners and along the tops of the walls.. and she and I both
were surprised at how many she found. I know she dusts the
wall tops and stuff but its surprising how fast they grew back...
Im glad I remembered the one, I would have had to listen to Dutch
all week end meowing at it.. :-)
I made some valentine hearts to put into snail mail valentines ..
I had to have some glue. I had Penny get one of those Elmer's
glue sticks for me.. Its not a big round one..only about as big as
a nickle.. Would you believe I could NOT get the cap off? My
hands are THAT weak? I tried and tried..but I could NOT get it
to move at all.. my grip was not tight enough.. I handed it to
Penny and she took it off with very little effort.. I have NO strength
in my hands at all.. My arms are strong.. but the grasp is gone..
I know I have held onto cups..specially with my right hand.. All
of a sudden it would just fall out, like I had just let go of it.. when I
hadnt.. I have to be careful when I lift or carry things to make sure
I have a really good confident grip on something before I dare
pick it up.. I did think I would have been able to get this little
rinky dink cap off this tube of glue tho..RATZ :-( I did use it..
I just had to use pliers.. to hold it..:-) it worked... after I found my
pliers that is..:-)
If you could see the area around this desk you would understand
why I have a hard time finding stuff.. I keep threatening to get a
file cabinet and I should.. I have stuff everywhere..I am just a
messy margaret on some things.. I did get my bookcase clear
though.. well I got rid of a lot of junk..and rearranged what was
left on it, and some of that I am going to get rid of.. I used to use
that bookcase to keep my material on, well some of it.. If I can
salvage some of the material out of the bags from down the
basement I can put it back on that.. Its a job to find a place to
put what I need so I don't have to move 50 other things to get
to it.. And when I sew, I like everything right there.. One of the
biggies when I sew is having my iron on..and ironing as I sew.
I don't think I can do that here.. I don't have enough outlets for
I don't think I can do that here.. I don't have enough outlets for
one thing..and I don't have a ironing board..and If I Use my
desk..I would have to move all that stuff on top of it.. *sigh*
see? This is what I mean.. every little thing..is really almost a
see? This is what I mean.. every little thing..is really almost a
issue.. I just have to do like Ive been and keep up a plan of
attack so I can do these things.. I want to make a quilt for baby
so bad.. I have been tempted to break out everything..but I
know when I do I will create a mess and then that's when the
fun turns to WORK...
My work right now is to get some graham crackers.. my left
over Icee and head into my bedroom and watch TV.. I may
take my knitting with me..I still havent finished that dish cloth
I started quite a while back :-) I need to finish that, and I need
to finish this post with my GEORGEOUS WEEBLE...
"nitey nite" :-)
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya.. and thanks :-)
Always, Lois ****
God Bless you, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again.....

Hello Lois
I like the pancake and saugage at McD's, maybe once a year I get one. It has to be for a special reason to do that. Now for there ice cream sundies that another story. Any reason is good.
Patsy had to put her mother in the nursing home today, she the one that turn 95 Feb 2...she not doing very well now days. They didn't think she live to get out of the hopital, but she did.
It will make it easier for me to see her and another lady I need to see more often.
And my car does better on gas then the van.And it don't hurt my knee getting into the car like the van did. I am so blessed to have this car.
Have a good weekend Lois.

I like the fast food at Mickey dees and the sandwiches at subway. As the weather gets warmer - I like to eat in small parks so I bring food from home. My daughter was doing her year abroad at Dundee Scotland during the mad cow scare and ate at Mickey Dees so they watched her for a while.

Hi, Honey,
Have you tried soft cod's roe on toast? We had it for tea the other evening. It's great with a splash of Worcester Sauce, cut into fingers and washed down with a nice cup of English tea (with a dash of milk, of course!) or a glass of white wine!
We get the roe in those little flat aluminium (sorry, aluminum) tins (sorry, cans). Do you have a toaster? If you do, it is a nice, easy, tasty snack. One small tin is enough for two slices of toast (buttered, of course)
Cob-webs are a nuisance, specially in the workshop. We have spiders with very long, spindly legs that leave webs all over the place. The wood dust makes them show up, though. Wouldn't do in "The Garage Mahal", though, would they?
Take care, Honey,
L.O.L. & G.B.H. from

My Gawd what a wonderful lady you are ... Yeah!
You have lead such an interesting life ... here's what I say ... start pecking away on a life story ... a book ... a few words a day.
It would be a smash and make a mint for you.
Yeah!

Hi Mary,
Sometimes its best for total care of a loved one if it cant be provided at home.. Have her make unscheduled visits..that will keep her aware of her mother.. Im so glad your car is working out for you.. You deserve the best.. :-)
Hi Momar,
Food always tastes better outside. I dont know why.. Picnics in the park are fun.. :-)
Hiya Raife! :-)
ummm..isnt roe, fish eggs? like caviar? naaahh.. I dont think I like that.. :-(
I dont think Donnie will allow too much in his garage mahal much less cobwebs. :-)
Hope y'all have a great week end.
Always, Lois
