~Pissy Calls~

I get so discouraged when I am told "I will call you back" and then

they don't.. I made 2 calls Monday, one to Sandra, and the other to

my insurance, both said that..and Ive not heard from either of them.
I know these people are busy and probly have a zillion calls a day,

but.. they should return a call when they say they are.. I know we are

just numbers to them..one of many..Sandra has over 300 clients she

has to attend to..The Department of Human Services don't treat us

as people..We are all just numbers with needs... I guess its probly

the same with Health Plan of Michigan as well.. Its a shame that its

gotten to that.. not just for disabled..but for anyone that needs any

kind of assistance. Sure makes me mad..I havent called them back,

YET.. I hope I don't have to as then I have a tendency to get a bit

pissy, and I don't hide the fact that I am upset about this kind of stuff.

So I may call tomorrow and I may wait till Friday.. but I will call if I

don't hear from them.. lets hope they don't make ME call them. I

hate when I have to make pissy calls as I call them...

We got snow covered during the night..are having a sunny day and

they say by Friday we are gonna have a HUGE storm.. So I had

Penny go to the store for me just in case she cant get out Friday and

I wont have anyone from now till next Monday, which is a LONG time,

but as long as I have food for the boys that's all that matters.. What I

really miss when Penny cant come are my Icees from Dairy Queen.

When Penny goes they know her car and have it waiting for her..She

said the ladies are so nice there.. I just HOPE they NEVER stop the

Lime Icees..cant get them any where else in town.. I would be really

upset.. I honestly look forward to them.. :-)

I got a package delivered by UPS.. I was all pleased that I had gotten

something.. well I lookd at the addy..wasn't for me, was for someone

just probly next door.. Penny said she would deliver it..but that's not

her job.. I was sad it wasn't for me..but I called and they came back

and picked it up.. They leave packages outside your door.. They did

that to me at the apartments..so does the post office, and they don't

even knock on the door to let you know something is out there.. I think

the excuse is they are on a very limited time and don't have enough

of it to stand and wait for someone to come to the door.. That is SO

not right.. I had things taken before.. but I guess its the shippers that

decide this. and unless you pay for better, you don't have to have it

given to you and put in to your hand.. which can cause problems.. then

when you call and say you never got it to the company, well its been

shipped..and they say delivered.. then your stuck.. I know there are

people that would keep something that was delivered wrong..Not me,

but I know some at the apartments did..

Ive been working on these baby blankets and yesterday I didn't notice

I had dropped a lot of the threads I had cut off onto the floor.. I looked

at my wheels.. they werent long enough to get wrapped like the other,

but there are ridges in my front gray tires..and in those grooves were

packed with the tiny threads I had rolled over.. I had said I was gonna

be more careful and then I saw I had almost done the same thing

AGAIN ! Luckily.. I would have hated to have to dig out threads from

my wheels again.. I still havent gotten the other out totally. Donnie is

due to come over tonite and I may ask him if he can fix it.. I think

things on his home front are better.. I hope so.. They are good kids

and work hard.. that maybe part of the problem..but I think that's how

it is now days.. People have to work so hard to make ends meet

that they don't have has much time together..that's sad.. I watched TV

last nite about how the cost of one thing went up..then that triggered

something else..and on and on.. Then people lose their jobs.. This

state has the highest unemployment of all the states.. THATS not

good and this is a great state to live in.. its almost totally surrounded

by water.. both the upper penninsula and the lower.. it is a beautiful

state..but then they all are in their own right.. this one just happens

to be one of the BEST...:-)

Well this day is almost ending for me.. which im ready.. I didn't do

anything today, well yes, I did pick up yarn from the floor.. but I didn't

do too much else..so now I should..Im gonna get my left over ICEE

and get some knitting done.. Im close to half way..I only do a few

rows a night .. my hands give out and really start to ache so I have

NO choice but to stop.. then I doze off..then up..vicious circle..but

oh well .. thus is the life of a GORGEOUS WEEBLE. "nitey nite"
