~Dr Day~

Well this was fun today.. I got to my appt at 1:15, I did not see

anyone until 2:15.. I got home it is now 3:15.. I did see a Dr. a

young man from another country.. He said I have a very severe

case of psoriasis..or how ever you spell it.. He said he did NOT

see any urgency in me seeing a dermatologist that I can wait

until June 5th.. How ever this is every where..even on my left

stump scar..and this is whats wrong with my arms.. he gave me

a cream to put on.. and hopefully this will help.. He also said I

have to start going in there once a month to see him.. I cant

think of his name.. was on the prescription but I don't remember.

He said I have to have blood work done before my next visit to

him next month which I LOVE doing as it means a extra trip out,

he wants the blood work done the week before I see him.. He was

concerned at how high the thryroid and cholesterol count was on

the last blood test.. What I found really strange, the nurse that took

me into the exam room took my blood pressure, Last time I was

there it was 140/90... guess what it was today? 140/90.. the exact

same? She takes it in my right arm..and I tell her EVERY time it

is NOT a true reading..she needs to take it on my left, yet she never

does.. and I know there is at least a 20 degree difference...He said

not to worry that I could lose hands or arms ..so that's a relief.. :-)

I know by the time I got home from sitting so straight and being so

uncomfy my right stump is acting up just awful..its so sore right now

that I could just scream.. that's how badly it hurts.. I guess Im just

sitting wrong.. plus I was very anxious and nervous before I left and

then having to wait over an hour in the waiting room well no wonder

Im miserable.. I just don't do good when I have to do things I don't

want to do.. This was one of them..

The Dr gave me a prescription for a cream..he said it will take a few

days before I will see any sort of change..I hope it works.. this looks

as awful as it feels.. I showed my hands and arms to Erica and

Cherise while I was there they were surprised at how much worse

they had gotten.. The Dr said stress will cause a lot of this..which

for me.. well that's a MAJOR thing..and something that is a daily

thing..

Im gonna unstress from this day by going and getting on my bed

and relaxing and watching TV.. im glad this is done.. Penny is going

to come by later and drop off my prescriptions..all I have to do now

is watch TV.. of course after I say my GORGEOUS WEEBLE
