~Dutch Was Mean~
Not too bad a day today, looked like rain for most
of it but we stayed dry. Penny came and we are all
of it but we stayed dry. Penny came and we are all
clean and ready for the week end.. She does good
work. For some reason Dutch has been mean to
her today which usually he follows her around like
a dog. He slapped at her a few times and even bit
her..but she was teasing him..He was up here sitting
on my desk, right by me and she kept trying to pet
him and well, when the boy is by his mom..no one
touches him OR me.. Hes armed and dangerous, I
forewarn everyone that hes moody and to be very
cautious with him..LB all he will do is rub all over ya.
Then he will wander off and go to sleep :-) Penny
took the photo of the cone flowers..They are so nice.
My glories are steady blooming too.
I watched a show the other night on the learning
channel..it was about a little girl named Kennedy. She
was about the size of a big baby doll. She was diagnosed
as having some dwarf syndrome. She was the cutest
and most precious little girl. She is one of very few that
are survivors of this. I watched that baby just run and
laugh and had no idea she was different than anyone
else, what was so wonderful..if she did, she didn't care.
She was a sparkling happy girl.. I would guess the life
span of these types of ailments are not that long as say
some one else, but the effect this child has on people is
wonderful.. I saw her and thought how wonderful she is
and only a few years old, 3 I think they said.. I see these
kids with ailments and think of what is ahead for them,
I look at me, and I say, "why do I complain at all?" which
is true.. look how many others that have it so much worse,
Ive had a full life before all this started, not all perfect
by any means.. but I did have a good one... I hope this
little tiny beautiful child has a good long life too..
Ive seen so many with disabilites.. a dog, with no front legs.
he didn't care, he walked upright like us.. I saw birds that
couldn't fly but had wonderful lives, what is so important
about seeing others with disabilities, for me, it makes my
just losing 2 legs as nothing compared to some of the
disabilities ive seen . This isnt easy, but if your careful
and don't take chances, do what you know to do, its doable.
But the way things are now..as hard as it is to live, we all
have a disability... no money!. I think the trick is to just
be grateful we have the days, what we do with them is
up to us.. I may be legless now, but I still like me and I
wont let this stop me.. so I just ride..haha Y'all got to
WALK! ..see? this maybe isnt that bad hey? :-)
WALK! ..see? this maybe isnt that bad hey? :-)
Ive written to my son and requested photos of everyone.
I told him they WILL be going on this blog so I can let
y'all see my youngest son and his wonderful family. I
have to laugh when Mark tells me something Tyler does.
Its just like what his dad did when he was little.. I used
to say that when Mark slept he dreamt of things to do
the next day to get in trouble... and I believe hes finding
out what a challenge a boy like him is..Tyler is just like
his dad looks just like him as well.. I showed Rebecca a
photo I have of Mark and she almost fell off the couch,
she thinks Mark looks like me. :-) lucky kid :-)...
I didn't have lunch as Penny made spaghetti sauce today
and I have some elbow macaroni that I am going to cook.
Make it like a goulash, I can smell it and MMM it smells
great!.. ... Time to eat and get out of this chair for today,
I got up early and I'm kinda tired, so its that time for
my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "niteynite".
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and THANKS!
Always, Lois ****
God Bless You, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend"
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
until I write again .....

A man in my house was diagnosed with lung cancer, today. I try to encourage him - now if he would just give up smoking.

Mary, when you get your teeth, if you feel a sore spot..get some campho phonix...it works great.. I got a bad spot and I used my nail file to fix it.. You will get used to them... Just DONT take them out but to wash them.. You wont swallow them when you sleep..trust me..but if you take them out b4 bed..its not wise...trust me..
