~Off To The Drs.~

I saw Chris pull up outside and I hurry upped and got

my webcam out and took a couple photos. I did notice how

that meals on wheels truck resembles the Ice Cream truck

Ive seen before.. :-) But why I took the photo was if you

look up towards the top right you will see an arrow pointing

at a telephone pole with a gold light looking thing.. Its a sign

the city I guess or the police to control traffic.. I had to use

my binoculars to be able to see what it was.. It tells cars what

their speed is being seen at.. then you look at your speedometer

and see if its right. Why they put it there, I think, is because

this is a very high traffic street and I have seen cars just

fly by, including the police... Wonder how many wrecks it can

cause for people looking away from the road :-)... that's what

causes crap on the highways.. so they give you even MORE to

distract you, like cell phones arent enough.. I would say over

3/4ths of the cars I see pull up by the corner out there are

using their cell phone. I myself, I don't have one.
Penny has one and it rings constantly. I asked her one day what

she did before she got that and she didn't know... I had thought

about getting one, but I don't go away from here that much.. I

had thought in case the phone line went out, but then I can use

my computer.. If the power goes out it will stop my cordless but

I have a regular plug in one.. Now though I do want to get a jack

in my bedroom and the bathroom.. When that will happen I don't

know.. but it would save me from having to haul the phone around.

and taking a risk of dropping it...
Well, I have a Dr appointment first thing in the morning. I

have to be up in Kalamazoo by 9:15 to see Dr Semler. I hate

having to ride for 45 minutes or longer depending on traffic

that time of day. But I have to get this looked at as it is a lot

worse and seems to be getting worse every day...

I called COA and Millie phoned me this morning and said

she would be driving me.. She is Roberts girlfriend, the guy

that used to cut the grass.. Millie is so sweet, shes the one

that came and brought me home from hospital a while back.

She said she would be here about 7:45, and by the time we

get all set up and out in the van , we may get there a bit early

but Id rather be early than late.. I hate to be late.. I plan to

take my camera and I will document my outing.. I just hope

he can stop this ickyness.. The dark spot across the thumb

is where it has cracked and is open. I cant afford a bad

infection and end up losing my thumb or worse yet my fingers.

how would I type? :-) I'm glad I got this appointment even

though I hate the long ride..

I called my girl Penny, and shes agreed to come in early and go

with.. its just easier for me than going by myself.. Plus it will

give Millie company too while they wait for me.. Millie will stay

up there at the Dr with me to drive me back... I know the boys

will be upset with me being gone, but hopefully I wont be gone

that long. I have no choice but to go... long ride or not.. I wish

the cancellation had been for the office here, I guess he comes

here one day a week... I'm glad I got this one though I had to

be a tad ugly to get it.. I explained to the Dermatologist Nurse,

Christine, that I needed an appointment right away. When she

phoned the soonest I could get in was NOVEMBER..

How can a person make an appointment that far ahead? I have

the problem NOW, by then I could be seriously infected or

worse or maybe they hope it will just go away? They did this

before was over 2 months no wonder I forgot about it.. The

rash was ok... now its back with a vengeance and getting worse

every day, and itch and hurts.. I told her I cant wait until

November..and if they cant get me in sooner I was calling

the APS...Adult Protective Services and tell my caseworker

and see what she could do.. After I told her that, she hung

up but 10 minutes later she called back to tell me of this

cancellation she had and did I want it.. I did and I will go.

So, the drama of the Dermy visit will be continued... :-)

Lunch was bbq, and it was ok.. I found out they have what is

called a 'supper sack'... so I'm going to see what it is... I

havent had them and I only found out cuz Chris told me or

I wouldn't have known... They didn't advertise it. I have

to call and cancel lunch for tomorrow and I will ask about

it then... find out what it consists of.. I watched one of my

favorite movies last nite, Finding Nemo.. That has GOT to

be one of the cutest movies.. I have it on cd too but was

on TV last nite... Its refreshing to see something nice on

TV I am so sick of all the blood and gore and awful shows

they have.. One I do kinda like is Cold Case, where they

solve old murders etc... But I'm not real keen on them my

favorites were Hill Street Blues and Kojak..Who loves ya

Baby?...

Time to get stuff around for tomorrow, takes me forever

to decide what to wear... I wont have to transfer so I'm

glad of that .. then I wont have to wear any extra clothing,

:-) well I will wear a little bit longer skirt , tucked under

and NO ONE will know my secret..so SHHH don't TELL! :-)

So till tomorrow, my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite" :-)
