As I write this our temperature is a balmy 8 below zero!

Kinda nipply hey? I sure can tell in here too.. This house

has storms on but just before that furnace clicks on, it

gets really cold... This is going to get worse before it

gets better.. Whats so bad for me is when its THIS cold

my stumps, no matter what I do just will not warm up..
I dug my mink cape out of the closet and I have that

over them and they feel warmer.. But its like when I did

have feet, if they reached a certain coldness it just

seemed to take for ever for them to warm up.. At times

I swear my feet feel like they are ice cold.. I can be

sitting here and then realize, 'hmmm, my FEET are COLD'.

This still amazes me.

8 years ago, this month and next, and I can truthfully

say the phantoms have NOT lessened. They still are just

as strong and hurt just as much. This sciatica has only

started perhaps just the past year? And the pains I get

in my feet has not disappeared at all.. They still cramp.

I cant say, now that I sit here and concentrate on just

how they feel that they are any better, and THANK
GOD they arent worse... Well when its not the sciatica,

that crap sent me to hospital.. But they feel the same

as they did 8 years ago... I had been told once that

they will never go away, we just have to get used to

them and adjust, which is what I do and HAVE done

I really didn't have a choice..

Well, yes, I guess I could have chosen to stay in the

hell home, but, it just wasn't for me, not when I felt I

still could live outside and away from constant care..

Sure be nice to have a live in maid, but with all the other

crap in a place like that.. no privacy .. THATS a biggie.
I'm a very private person, I know you wouldn't think

it since I tell every little thing on here, but I really am.

I like private and will protect mine or anyones.. I get

all bent out of shape if any one questions me about

someone else.. I wont tell nothing, anything.. well I

just don't say a word.. Private is private...

I have done nothing today and just sat and played games,

I play Spider Solitare or majong. I did start a new dish

cloth, Valentines day in a few weeks and I might make

some for gifties for Penny or Rebecca... Now I have to

decide what I want to eat. They have a new cook with

COA and I made the mistake of tasting some bow tie

pasta yesterday and I had to brush my teeth and

tongue 3 times to get the taste out of my mouth.. A

few peppermint patties helped too :-) So I am NOT

waiting to see what it is today and maybe make a

PB & J.. My grandsons favorite too :-) Smart Boy, he

knows whats good :-)

Time to post and warm up, and EAT :-) First I have

to put my COLD GORGEOUS WEEBLE "G'day, G'day".
