~April Fools Day~ :-)

Penny is sick today.. Poor kid, she has a very irritable

stomach and today it decided to act up on her.. I guess

its cuz its April Fools Day. :-) A bad stomach WILL make

a fool out of you if you arent careful.. So she said she

would be here tomorrow as I reminded her the boys are

almost out of canned food AND they are out of treats..

Its a daily routine.. I fix my coffee, fill their bowls..

and give them treats.. When they don't have them I get

some mean looks :-) LB has to have his coffee every

morning though.. He likes the coffee grounds.. not used

but fresh.. He has since he was tiny.. Any other people

food he wont touch.. Dutch.. that boy eats what I eat..

or at least a taste of it :-)

Rebecca came today.. Shes so nice. She, well her mom, has

an air mattress and a computer desk they don't want.. So

shes going to get them for me.. I don't have a spare bed

room so to have this air mattress may come in handy..She

said its one of those that go up with a motor.. If it was a

blow up kind..well would take me a month to blow up a

queen size mattress. :-) So this may come in handy, the desk,

well Penny said she is in need of one, so I may give it to

her, depending on when I see what it is.. I may have room

for it here.. This living room is so big.. I have LOTS of

room here :-) Its so great.. I love it...


My great grandson, Alex will be having his first birthday

on the 18 of this month.. He was born the 16th.. My son,

Mark, his birthday is on the 17th..AND.. I think he may

know.. Mark was born on his dads and my 3rd wedding

anniversary.. :-) How time flies.. Mark will be 42... Richard

had a birthday last month.. the 16th.. he was 44... I think

Kelli is having a big party at her house for everyone.. I

don't plan to go though.. Its would just be too hard being

in this chair, there will be lots of kids and I worry about

them by this chair.. lots of stuff they could get hurt on.

Well I wouldn't take my power chair.. but the manual..
It would be easier...

I don't know what it is about wheel chairs but kids are

drawn to them to see just how they work.. Move the

brake handle or try to move the wheel.. When I was in

Keystone a girl there had a little girl that was just the

cutest thing.. She was about 3 I think.. and when ever

she saw me she was steady touching and trying to make

my chair move.. It was really cute to see her try to push

it.. But I really don't like kids to be close to it.. there

are a lot of places little fingers can get stuck.. If mom

or someone is close then I don't mind.. I think kids find

chairs very interesting.. but if there is only me and the

child.. I am very careful not to move the chair and will

lock the brakes tight.. just to be safe..

My great nephew Tyler, he thought this chair was most

interesting and wanted to push it.. That day his mom,

Cheryl brought him to see me.. he came up to my chair,

put his hand on my arm.. looks up at me and says in VERY

SERIOUS tone.. "Auntie, you have no legs!!" I looked at

Tyler and said, "yes, honey, they got sick and they had

to be taken off, is that ok?" He looked at my stumps..

patted my hand so tenderly, looked up at me with his

HUGE blue eyes.. and says "That's, ok Auntie! I will

walk for you, can I push your chair?" He looked my

chair over from top to bottom, kept him busy for a

long time, and if you knew Tyler, well that was a lot

for him to stay still for any amount of time :-) Very

active boy :-) but arent most... :-)

Well this chair and me are headed to the kitchen to

check out what lunch is today.. These supper meals

are the best! Whomever is making these salads is

doing a great job! I'm almost afraid to compliment

them for fear they stop them again !! :-) Time to

post, eat and work on my nocbag. :-) But not before

I put my "G'day,G'day!" :-)
