~Asparagus~

Lunch yesterday was pretty good. BBQ and some very good baked beans, that honestly tasted homemade ! It also came with asparagus.. Well, Ive never been a fan of that.. I know Ive tasted it years ago, it was one of my Moms favorites, she grew her own. One of her flower beds she converted to nothing but asparagus, so she fixed it a lot when it was in season.. And I HAD to taste it every time, like the taste would change? :-) Anyway... Ive been getting some emails about asparagus lately, And its been unknown kinda, I had not heard of this, I have of the power of carrots against cancer, but not asparagus which I read documented reports of what it can do.. So my lunch came with asparagus and I didn't really remember the taste of it.. so. I thought I would give it a try. I put a dab of butter on it.. and there were some end shoots that I know are always the best, according to my mother :-) So I tasted it. It wasn't bad at all.. If I had to choose because I needed this therapy between carrots and asparagus, Ill take the asparagus.. It wasn't bad at all.. Although I kept telling my self in my head it looks like green beans, it will taste like green beans :-) Well.. it worked! That asparagus wasn't too bad ! ... I have some dear friends that have been diagnosed with cancer. Donnies Mom for one.. Barb is a very special lady. I sent this information to her.. It cant hurt any thing... and If it were me, I would try anything that had the slightest possibility of working. So I hope if you know anyone diagnosed you will pass the info along. It is said to work...Look it up online... The twin lady across the street is a gardener.. Every day. Very dedicated and it shows.. Will be fun to watch as her garden grows.. I saw her out there with one of the orange kitties, he followed her around, would rub up against her leg as he circled around it, she would reach down and pet him and he does what LB does and he just laid down for her to pet him.. I saw 2 of them over by the black kitties house so I am wondering if one of the orange ones is the daddy of the babies that I am sure are over at that house! The curiosity is driving me nuts! I will watch for the girl walking home from school and ask her .. She will probly think I'm crazy !! :-) Well I would like to know .. Penny made it today, she has horrible allergies. Hayfever I guess. She feels better and that's the main thing. We are all clean and the trash is gone and Penny brought treats for the boys so theyre happy too.. Its time for lunch and I am hungry, I woke up that way ..which is unusual for me.. Sooooo.. you KNOW what that means.. I need to put my GORGEOUS WEEBLE daily greeting of "Hiya !"..
