~What Is It?~

I watched the guy across the street cut that huge lot. It
took him ALL day. He had his headphones on and was not
going fast at all, just taking his time. Not at all like Carl's
wife, she MOVED ! I was amazed at how fast she ran her
mower.. If you look behind in the field you will see some
posts out there...from the edge of the house are 2 then
to the right a tad are 2, and then 2 more on the end..
I watched as they put those posts in the other day and
I thought strange..what were they for.. perhaps a game.
When they finished that day I had NO idea what they
were. When the guy mowing there finished he went out
to those posts at the end by the house dragging this
dark thing with him and a ladder, can you guess what it is?
Well he put the ladder up to one side, pulling up this
black thing, and kinda hooked it on the bar that connected
the two posts.. they look like goal posts for a football
field. but 6? Football field doesn't have in the middle..So
I kept watching.. thru my binoculars..of course.. I HAD to
see what this thing WAS! He dragged this black up to
the top bar and as it draped down I saw it was a NET !..
I thought some kind of game field. soccer or something.
Donnie in his truck..
The man continued to the middle posts, first one side
then to the other hooking this net up.. He made it to the
end and I could see all the sides and top were netted. I
bet THAT net cost a fortune... So I finally decided that
it was a thing for practicing batting a baseball.. ok Hitting
one.. Donnie came over yesterday afternoon after church
and I pointed it out to him.. As he was looking a little boy
got under the net with a baseball and bat and we knew
then that was what it was for.. There are a lot of kids
around here so that will keep them busy all summer. The
guy did a good job building that.. Did ya guess right? :-)
Just after he finished his batting cage I heard the familiar
sound of "clip-clop-clip-clop" I saw this gorgeous black horse
come trotting down the street out front pulling that orange
wagon with 4 people in it.. They were Amish of course and all
smiles enjoying a nice ride.. The street that they're on goes
out into the country .. I would like to just ride around and
see all that's around here. Ive not been up this way before.
When David and I came up here to fish we were down by
the damn in Mottville...Eventually we probly would have made
it up this way there are so many lakes around here..

I saw the black kittie today I was glad.. I am sad however,
Penny is still sick. I called her this morning and she did not
sound well at all.. I hope she gets better. Chris will be here
with my lunch and I will ask her to get my mail. Donnie took
my garbage home with him and I'm glad he did now. Those
stinkin black ants are everywhere if you don't keep it covered.

Ive decided to just sit back and not do anything about any
thing for a while.. My stress factor has reached its limit. I
finally slept last nite after I decided this.. If these problems
want to persist.. they can come to me.. The grant stuff, well
I don't feel I got a very good warning on that and I have
decided to ignore it for the time being..when it hits full tilt,
THEN I will deal with it.. one way or the other.. If push comes
to shove I will talk to Joe... That's my solution solver I think,
as far as the grant business goes. I had a nice weekend.. Saw
my sis, my boy, got to talk to some dear friends.. Hey, cant
get any better than that ... AHHHH life really IS good.. This
GORGEOUS WEEBLE says so- oh and "Happy Monday!"...:-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and THANKS!!!
Always, Lois ****

Ps.. The phantoms have almost stopped !!! :-)

"God Bless You", is my prayer today.
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again....
