~Challenges~

Sometimes I get email that hits on just the right things
that seem to be bothering me at the time, and when I do
need it.. I got one, that of course, I did send on to
some friends I knew would appreciate and needed to
read what it said, just like I needed a reminder too..
What it was about was CHALLENGES.

I think just opening your eyes, ready to do another day
is a major challenge.. It is for me now.. I can remember
a time when I woke I just took it for granted I would
keep on till I died in good condition and able to do what
ever I needed or wanted to.. Well I still can, but boy, I
mean, sometimes what I go through to solve a problem,
well a challenge, as that's what I take a problem to be.
A challenge. :-) Either name, its a daily happening..

I'm not afraid of any sort of challenge, I will stand my
ground and fight to the end. Maybe its the Native
American in me, but Ive always been like this.. Don't
threaten me, promise me.. I will make you DO a threat.
I want nothing hanging over my head so to speak. I do
think though, like that email said, if I didn't have these
challenges and things just went along smoothly, I don't
think I would be prepared to handle them, and that's
why I do have little daily challenges to contend with.
It keeps me on my invisible toes. :-)

But if everything went smoothly, no problems paying bills
or getting things fixed here, or no more worries about
this grant.. I think then life might get boring, I would
eventually take it for granted that it would always be
that way and when something DID come up and kick me
in the butt, I wouldn't be ready, when now, I would just
turn around and say "come on, give it your best shot".
And I will make what ever arrangements so I can fix it.
I think challenges are good for us.. they are for me....

Penny did not show up today, I called her at 9:30 and she
was still at home. I just told her I would see her Monday.
The hardest part when she misses a day is the trash. Now,
especially since we have those ickky black ants. And from
Wednesday to Monday is a long stretch.. I hope she makes
it Monday or I will be upset, which I sure don't need.. I'm
sure she will be though.. See? a daily challenge, cuz NOW
I have to make sure everything is done before my sis
gets here, I wasn't planning on that, goes to prove a point
I think.. BE prepared, like the boy scouts :-) Even moreso
for me.. another challenge.. hope its the only one for today,
but then again.. this day is NOT done yet !! :-)

A friend corrected me on the beautiful trees across the
street and the more I look around, they are all over this
neighborhood. Theyre Red Bud trees.. which I do agree,
a flowering crab is a lot like it though colorwise.. I notice
a lot of the flowering trees here and there are a lot .. This
town has a lot of trees just like 3 Rivers did. The twin lady
across the street has a lovely yard.. She has tulips and I
bet the ones over at the little house are blooming too. I
LOVE flowers.. With all the rain, the leaves have really
come out and the grass is such a nice emerald green. :-)
I am SO anxious to see the peonies.. what color they are..

Well, I need to post this and finish up before Shirley gets
here.. make sure all the cat hair is off the couch. :-) Stan
isnt keen on cat hair OR cats.. But he does like to play with
Dutch and the lazer.. Dutch will play with Stan but hes very
leary of him.. LB stays gone the whole time.. He will only
come out when certain people are here, like Penny of course
or Donnie, he liked Theresa too.. CMH never replaced her
with anyone.. I wonder if they will? I hope so.. Anyhoway,,,

Its time for this CHALLENGED GORGEOUS WEEBLE to
say "happy SAT DAY" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks!
Always, Lois ****

PS.. Still not heard from whom ever you are in Constantine.. :-)

"God Bless You", is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again....

Yes challenges keep us sharp in our mind...sure don't always like them. And they come at the wrong time too. Anyway I think they do...
But they do make us a better person, if we will let it...and not become hard on the inside.
God is so good to us, would not want to go through challenge without him beside me...
    God bless you Lois.

If they were easy they wouldnt be called challenges lol... Yes, if we didnt have them I think we would take
