~Organizing~
TwinLadys Garden..
Gloomy and sorta cool day today but I did get some
sewing done. Plus Ive organized my sewing corner a
little better than it was. It was looking really messy
and I know better than to get sloppy but I do it any
way KNOWING I'm just going to have to clean it up.
I get ideas and I go from one thing to another, or I
remember an old pattern I want to find then I start
to dig and rummage thru all my stuff, setting things
aside I want to do, then THAT piles up cuz I put off
doing them :-) I sound disorganized I think.. or maybe
the word should be confused ? :-) I know where every
thing is but I just have to find WHERE it is.. its here!
SOMEWHERE... :-)
We sat in the doorway yesterday and I have to say to
watch those baby robins is just about the cutest thing.
Its either a mom and dad and 2 babies, or a mom and 3
Its either a mom and dad and 2 babies, or a mom and 3
babies, they are all pretty much the same size now. But
one kinda stands guard while the other 3 are out hopping
around.. The mom will go hopping off, make a chirpy sound
and peck at the ground then the 2 babies run up to her
and do the same thing, you can tell shes showing them how
to dig and what to look for.. There are some big black
birds out there that the robins don't like at all and when
the babies are out hopping around it will dive bomb the
black birds and run them off.. I think the nest is in the
white birch tree that's out there by the garage. They
don't stray very far from it.
The twin ladys garden is just beautiful. I don't see her
out there as much so I'm hoping her leg isnt hurting her
or she is having problems.. I hope that dog had his shots.
I cant for the life of me think of the name for a mad dog.
I know I remember that movie CUJO.. that movie scared
me.. :-) My brother had St. Bernards but they were big
teddy bears. I know its not tetnus.. Skunks get it too.. I
cant think of the word, Raife! I KNOW you know it :-)
Anyway Ive not heard any more about it so I will ask
Joyce if I see her out in the yard, I'm hoping she will
come and pick some more of my peonies and take them
home, the smell is amazing and they are so pretty....
Ive seen some neighbors going around here in golf carts.
I wonder would they let me? I don't think they are really
legal on the streets, but there are very few sidewalks in
this town so whats a person to walk or roll on like me? Be
nice if I could get special dispensation just to use around
here.. I watched a lot of kids and parents walking over to
the high school for baseball games, I would LOVE to go
over and watch the kids play.. David and I went to the park
just down the street from our house to watch the kids
play, plus the adults later, which our friend Ron played for
a team. Those guys were so funny to watch...
The bases were loaded and the first guy coming in to
score tripped as he got up to the home plate, while he
was running, the pitcher ran up closer to homebase,
and when the guy tripped the pitcher reached down
fast as he could grabbed him by the seat of his pants
and his waistband and actuallly THREW the runner
across home plate JUST in time for the next runner
to score :-) We laughed, the runner didn't get time
to even think before the pitcher grabbed him and
threw him.. :-) But I would go over and watch them
play I loved doing that.. I bet I could get some good
photos.. :-)
I had thought about that last evening, I LOVE sunset
I had thought about that last evening, I LOVE sunset
time outside, well in the doorway, its so quiet and nice
and calm..everything slowing down after a busy day,
I thought about what good photos I could take of my
wonderful back yard once I got out there. Its really
not hard now, but, I have to hold the camera up above
my head so the photo is taken thru the glass up top of
the door and not through the screen at the bottom ..If
I don't when I partially press the thingie down so it
will focus it will focus on the screen and not what I am
taking a picture of.. When I hold it up like that I cant
see the box that shows what the camera sees.. I have
my problems don't I ? I mean.. well- once I get my deck
I wont need to worry about the screen. Well- unless I
would be fortunate enough to get a screened in deck
so the boys could go out there too.. I know Dutch
will NOT be a happy camper if I get to go out and he
cant, he was pissy for quite a while the other day when
I went out.. he will sit at the door and whine! his meows
can be so pitiful.. hes a funny cat.. my buddy :-)
Well this GORGEOUS WEEBLE has her normal hunger
pangs as usual so I'm gonna post this, find some lunch
and sew a bit but I'm gonna sit and watch my yard too,
for awhile.. I hope you have a nice yard you enjoy too.
Lots of work , but worth it.. :-)
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and Thanks.

"God Bless You", is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again....

Hello Lois
We got rain just as Michael team started to play ball, that ended that game...was wanting to be home before the rain started....At home the rain was lite, so didn't get to wet...
When you start looking for something, wow that does cause a mess most of the time, anyway for me.
Going to get my hair cut Friday, wish it could have happen today...
But close hearing that thundering again.

I am moving during the month of June - about 1-1/2 blocks to my other house. As I get older I want to be all on one floor. right now, I am in the finished basement and first floor. I will have a sun room and ultimately a living-room in the new house.
