~Fixed the Driveway~

The parking next door is not the best. Joe would

pefer they park in back, but If I lived there I

would want to park in front closer to the door

too!.. There is always a puddle out there by where

they park. With all the rain its not had a chance

to dry up.. Yesterday, it was fixed and I KNOW

they have to be glad..
I heard that big front end loader and being yellow

I thought surely was a CAT, but no..was a Deere.,

The guy dumped a load of sandy looking gravel down

and then dragged the scoop back across it.. Then

he drove across back and forth at least a dozen times

to pack it better more than likely. He put some in front

of the mailboxes too. He shoveled some too. He did a

good job.. I hope that stops that puddle over there..
I saw the boy across the street to the left, the one

whos dad made him the batting cage and the baseball

diamond out there. That boy is a dedicated sports fan,

I can tell.. If hes not batting a baseball hes throwing a

football... Once in a while I see his dad out there with

him, but if no one is around I give the boy credit, for

still going out there and playing by himself.. Nice to see

him OUTside, not inside playing games on TV or computer.
I got a couple of good photos of the birds flying, I didn't

think I had! I kept watching how many kept flying in and

out but not knowing Pennys camera I miss a lot of them. I

think we did the wrong thing in cutting off the sunflower

heads and putting them on the ground.. The finches havent

been back from what I can tell.. Today, Penny moved them

out by the other birdseed.. I hate to see those good new

seeds go to waste.. The other 4 we wont cut off....
We are all clean and ready for the week end.. being a holiday

not many will be around. Monday is Labor Day which signals

the end of summer and back to school... Penny wont be here

as they are planning a bbq. So I made her promise she will

not miss any days next week.. Its a VERY important one and

LOTS to do to prepare.. We have a list..:-) She switched from

Monday to Tuesday which is ok by me..
Lunch, I have NO idea, but I KNOW I will find something.. I

am not really hungry, but Id rather eat more at lunch time

and have a light supper snack later.. I HAVE cut down on how

much I drink though.. cuz THAT determines how many times

I get up during the night...Ive not slept good the past few

nights...Time to post and give ya my GORGEOUS WEEBLE
