~Yard Drama~ :-(

Some real yard drama yesterday that really got me upset.
I watched as a baby bird laid out there, he got out of the house
... It was sad to watch.. The mom would fly back and
forth to the birdhouse, get on the roof and I could see her
mouth opening and closing as if yelling for help for her baby.
She would fly down to it and hover over it.. still crying for help.
She was so upset.. I watched as the baby struggled and
tried to get up.. This poor little thing didn't even have any
feathers.. I didn't know what to do.. I couldn't get out there.
Trust me If I had that deck out there that I want with a ramp?
Id have that baby bird in here feeding it and on the phone
getting help for it.. I didn't know who to call..
I had to give up watching, it just broke my heart..but this is
life I guess..Bad and harsh as it sometimes can be.. Maybe
I wasn't meant to intercede...When I got up this morning I
sat and watched that birdhouse..was as if it had been
deserted.. No activity at all.. I just hope one of the cats didn't
eat that baby bird.. I would really have gone nutty over that if I
had seen it.. :-) I still love my back yard though..There is so
much LIFE out there.. From squirrels to rabbits to birds to
kitties.. I LOVE it even though I see some of the bad parts
of it.
Other than that it was a very quiet week end for me.. I did
a lot of resting, which seems to help.. I am waiting for a call
back from the physicians...Ive been following that oil spill
and listening to those people down in Louisiana... I spent
a week down there at the very tip in a small town I don't
even remember the name.. but it was so beautiful...Most
every one lived in house boats.. It was amazing.. I think of
those people now and what they are facing with this oil
spill and how little help they are getting. I am just so in
amazement that our government or who ever would allow
these oil rigs to be sunk down in OUR waters and no
safety precautions... NOW with a hurricane headed at
them.. Sad.. I wish I could help, sadly there is nothing I can
do.. But I sure feel for them...

I have to say I am VERY proud of the state of Arizona tho.
I hope EVERY state does the same thing.. Years ago all
the immigrants that came here, we never changed anything
to suit their language.. Not like we have for the Spanish ..
Press 1 for English.. What a crock.. Makes me so mad when
I have to do that.. I almost just hang up the phone.. I heard
that Michigan Is going to adopt the same policy as Arizona
I sure hope so. That Hilary Clinton and her big mouth.. I have
NO respect for Her at all.. Gonna sue that state..and not tell
them ! I hope they get her for that..

Well with all that 2 cents I better close this for today and see
what Penny is cooking . I think Porcupine Meatballs is on
the menu.. :-) I love them.. and with that Classico sauce..
MMMM I'm ready for some food.. :-) SO.... anyhoway...

You know what that means.. Time for this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE to close this for today and EAT... Hope you
had a great week end.. :-) Remember.. I shall Return!!

Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You" is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you 'friend'.
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

    Hi, Honey,
'Fraid that's Nature! "Red in tooth and claw" as they say.
We also have language problems here! With "English" as she is spoke by the many Indian call centres (Sorry, centers!) that English firms tend to use. It's a bit like listening to "The Goon Show" of Blessed memory!!!
I hate this "Press 1 if you want to ----, --- press 394 for any thing else" I much prefer speaking to an English or American person, live!!
I shall have to be careful, or "they" will arrest me for being racist!!!
A black lady over here has just been fined for calling a brown lady a "coconut" (brown on the outside and white on the inside!) so I can't be too careful!!!
    Take care, Honey,
    Luv Ya,
    God Bless You
    Raife

"Foreign" languages never bothered me. German was the language of the kitchen. Kids in grammar school spoke Italian at home. Down in Cicero (IL) Polish was the street language. And over in Galesburg it usta was Swedish. It was wonderful ... but everyone knew English was the official legal language so every one made the effort to get some English.
    No sweat.

    Hiya Raife,
I know, but I hate to see it...was sad to watch.. Even all our food is in Spanish..we did this for no other nationality. I guess they feel special..Ive been to Mexico. I can xee why they want to leave..why dont they FIX Mexico then? Make it livable so they STAY there ! :-) My apologies to anyones feelings ..but this is how I feel..my 2 cents. :-)
The war with the blacks that will never end..they are doing a good job of killing each other it seems.
Axe them.. :-) they dont speak the best english but at least they do.

We spoke yooper english..ya eh?.... you betcha.:-)All kinds of nationalitys in the UP.. English is still the numero uno..and spoken world wide.. Everyone knows a good thing :-)

    Good to hear from you!
    Love N'Hugs,
