~Time to Sew~

I think my girl Kelli is going to come and spend some time with

me on saturday if she gets her truck fixed...She just got it and

something is already wrong with it bless her heart.. going to

cost her close to 500.oo .. i wish I could help her..Donnie would

do it but its some thing that he doesnt have the tools for and

plus he stays so busy himself..its unbelievable..But we are

going to work on my sewing room.. It has to be done or I cant

do anything in there .. one of the first things i have to do is get

rid of that wheelchair trapping CART lol... I will totally remove

it from there before I even try to go in there lol...i will not get

trapped in there again..:-)

I want to do some sewing again and make some new skirts and

tops.. I have a couple nice pieces of material in my sewing room

that are just lovely.. one is a black silk with tiny tiny beige flowers

scattered through it.. and one is a gorgeous white silk with tiny

splashes of every color there is I think...beautiful piece.. My sis

is looking through her TONS of material and looking for some

solid black silk and she has some I know that is like a metallic

and very shinny would make a great top, i am so picky but well

silk just feels so good next to me and it is thin material but its

still warm and I like how loose it is over my stumps and doesnt

put any weight on them like some of the heavier material i have

does..the denim especially..and silk drapes so nicely too...just

looks good, and that I LIKE... :-)

I noticed that Raelynn wears scrub tops.. like what the nurses

wear..and I make those.. and I do have a couple already made

in there that i think will fit her and ill give them to her.its always

nice to get new clothes.. I miss the stuff Ruth used to get for

me not new, but new to me.. she went to the free store here its

called and they give you the clothes just have to go thru and

find what you want.. shes gotten me most of what i wear..but

she knew what to look for..silk :-)

I did start to look online about a sewing machine that might be

adapted for a leg amputee but got side tracked on to something

else, and never did finish looking.. I need to go back.. I would like

a new machine but that is totally not with in my budget ...lol but

perhaps I can find a different sort of foot pedal that I can use...

To put this one under my stump makes it hurt plus it gets hot..from

no air.. and being as soft as my stumps are by the time i push

down hard enough for the bone to hit it , well that is NOT a good

way to do it cuz it hurts it..My sis has one of those computerized

ones that almost talks to you.. but it was like over 2000 she paid

for it . it should i think at least TALK to her lol..

I watched this show on tv where these 2 people come into your house

or where ever and do a clean out and clean up..Boy would i like

that.. get more organized All i am doing is moving stuff from one

place to another here.. Now since I am not in my sewing room thats

where i put stuff just to get it out of sight..then when i go in there..

well i almost didnt get OUT last time LOL so what does THAT mean?

I think I need one of those re do people..wonder if they have a list

I can get on? i bet when they saw this place they would refuse to do
it LOL..no no its not that bad really but sure would be nice to be

sent to a hotel for 2 days and come back to a totally clean and neat

and organized apartment lol.. but WHAT woman wouldnt like that?

Well lunch AGAIN was not approved by my lunch inspector Dutch..

and it DID look kinda ugly..I smelled it and I just didnt like the smell

either..so I will look for something else out there.. maybe just some

soup .. I may put a roast in the crock pot tomorrow tho for saturday

have some nice beef gravy ? mmmm ok now im starved I have to

have some food...got any ideas for sewing machine pedal adaptions

let me know ok?
