~What's A Roll-In Shower?~

I have many times written about my ROLL - In shower..

Behind the curtain is where it is. lol..The curtain starts

at the doorway which is on the left. and goes across the

opening of the shower wall to wall..keeping the water in,

if any gets out the floor is tile..and the water just runs back

down into the drain in the center of the shower, the far wall

ahead on the right is where the toilet is..

You can see the floor and there is no ridge to roll over.

The floor is very slanted and truthfully very hard to get

around in there as you have to hold on or you will roll

right into that shower..The curtain is pulled back into

the doorway that comes into the bathroom directly

across from the sink..You can see the shower nozzle up

on the wall and part of the cord, since the nozzle will

come off the wall and you can hold it in your hand..all those

little dark spots by the drain are marbles. Dutch plays with

them in there as they roll right back down..he plays for hours.

The railing goes all the way around 3 sides of the shower.

there is plenty of room for both the white bench and my shower

chair.. I pull up to the bench and use it as extra security in

front of me for when I have to lean forward to get my hair rinsed.

Not the way the chair is in the photo- facing that white one. to do

that for a photo well Was HARD to maneuver 2 chairs in there..I

take one at a time in there. when I get into my shower chair I do

that in the bedroom, its safer to do it that way.

As you can see. they both fit quite nicely. The white is a

plastic and not safe at all since the floor is slanted and see

it is NOT real wide. I prefer the wheelchair even though it is

VERY uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time...

behind LB is the shower you can see the curtain...The bar goes

down that side and in the back of the toilet..Now I WILL be

specific here and tell you..lol..well- I just tell everything, :-) well

if you want to know..I do TELL..lol.....when I have to use this..I pull

my chair up right to it, facing that toilet.Lock down and go forward

facing that back wall..I use that bar on the left and that helps me

scoot forward, when I get back into my chair I reach back and pull

myself backwards into it..to the right starts the bathroom sink..LB

is just pulling a Dutch today--see that clock on the wall behind the

toilet? I told you I have a clock in EVERY room.. You can see the

reflection of the shower curtain in the mirror... :-) LB drinks out of

the toilet..I wish he would potty in there instead!!! :-)

Underneath the sink ..I know looks awful..well no one will put

up a curtain rod under there Ive asked now for 3 years..so its all

open and ugly..but look .and you can see the cat carrier I keep

there for when it storms..the boys and I hide in the bathroom- If

things got real bad I can put them in there to be safe..Well- have

to look out for your kids..You see they follow me ..lol..

There is the sink..and back to the door to go out into the

dining room..And that is the tour of my bathroom LOL :-)

NOW you know how nice and big my shower is..AND what is

meant by ROLL IN SHOWER... :-)

From my bathroom door this is what you see. which is my

dining room..that door on the left there goes into my sewing

room and a very sharp left will take you into my bedroom..Way

down there by the fridge and to the left is the living room..and over

to the right just where you see the dark floor go to the kitchen is

where the door is to the hallway and the center of the building is

to the right down the hall

The lighting in here was not the best today because it was so

bad out ...ALL night it rained and thunder and lightning..They say

this will cool it off...I hope so.. Donnie says he comes home every

night and jumps in the lake..lucky dog.. lol Well Im gonna jump into

my kitchen as I do every nite lol..see what kinda snack I can find..
I worked very hard today taking pictures so I deserve a treat haha.
