~Fixin Stuff Up~ :-)

I put up my burgundy lace curtains.. well I didnt but Donnie
and Dawn did.. what a drastic change..looks so nice...it
will be a pretty room when its all done.. I didnt have alot of
stuff in my other one..I had a small student desk in there I
have been thinking about putting it in the kitchen.. It may
work good out there. It has 3 drawers..I looked online for
a freezer today, and I found the MOST excellent one.. It
would be perfect and just big enough for me. Only thing
not good is the price.. its only a 5 cubic foot one.. and it
is selling at Best Buy for close to $300.oo.. online..

The kitchen is a deep dark blue..the trim is very white..and
today Dawn helped me hang some yellow and white checked
curtains that are just the cutest things...they look so cute next
to the dark blue..and the white..Really is nice..I kinda like it..
Dawn said she has some paint brushes and pan etc. so I
asked if she would let me use them and I can paint the lower
parts..like the cabinet doors.. I wish Chris would find that blue
paint and bring the white enamel for the trim... I dont think you
can paint semi gloss paint over enamel..and thats what the
trim is..Im not sure though.. Guess I could try it hey? DUH!!!
I am just so anxious to get this place done.. Dawn is such a
sweetie..she really helps me alot..I dont know what I would do
without her and Donnie..They are one of the main reasons I
think it would be very hard to move away from here.. I really
depend on them alot and I sure hope they know how much I
appreciate them.. I think they do...but sometimes we just dont
tell people enough just how precious they are to us..and we
sure need to every single chance we get.. I try to.. I miss seeing
our girl though.. Kelli..I wish I could see Amber and Nikki too..All
3 are the most gorgeous grands any Gran could have.. Each one
is so different in looks, personality and all just lovely beautiful
young women I guess I should say.. Amber and Nikki are mom's
already..to Cameron and Kristin, my great grands.. May as well
be.. I claim them as mine..and they know it lol..I always have....
I wish I did see more of them though.. Everyone is just so busy
these days..

I have a dear friend in Brooklyn in his 70's and this man is THE MOST
active man I have ever known! he is steady doing something.. You know
who you are Momar :-) but you know.. I dont think if you lived any other way
you would be happy.. My Dad, he worked in his garage till right up to the
end at 80 years old.. He HAD to stay busy, he maybe wasnt as brave as
when he was in his 30's etc..but he wasnt a do nothin type of guy..He was
up before dawn so he could serve fresh worms to the fish for breakfast..
why he always caught so many...lol... But Momar is the same way.. and always
doing something for someone else..moreso than for himself!.. well though
in a way doing for someone else IS doing for yourself too..makes you feel
good.. it does me when I was able to help someone...

Lost is sposta be on..and I havent eaten today ..I think I may nuke a potato ,
I like those..with butter only..not all that other stuff on it.. well a little salt and
pepper tho.. I love the skins.. Im hungry.. time to say Nitey Nite.. Oh.. my
clock is still tickin!!!!

Y'all have a good one now Y'hear? luv ya.. and thanks :-)
Always, Lois ****

God Bless you is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe
until I write again..

    Hi,Honey,
It's great to be back in Exford after a few days helping my Sis with a lot of DIY jobs at her place in Haselmere, in Surrey. She spoils her old Brub rotten - she is a Cordon Bleu trained cook and her food is gorgeous, always well presented.
I love the pic of my Favourite Weeble from a couple of days ago - I've been a good boy and read all the posts that you put up while I was away! ;o) Sounds as though you are getting things licked into shape now. I am so glad you have some dear friends to help you. Donnie and Raelynn are just about wonderful, aren't they?
Take care, Honey, and don't over-do it. Lots of love and great big hugs from
    Raife
