~leaves or no leaves~
I looked out side..and saw what happened to those beautiful
golden trees that were over there across the street.. I looked
and now the ground is gold..the trees are bare..and all their
glory is laying underneath.. They were so pretty..and its just
amazing how much they add to a area..Over at the apartments
I had to look hard to see the trees over on that street by the
church.. Now..these beauties all around..there are quite a few
very nice ones in the yard here..2 huge ones on each side of
the garage..that one was gorgeous..it was so red..it almost
When the leaves all drop and the weather changes so drastically
I think the stark bareness and darkness of the trees is such a
I think the stark bareness and darkness of the trees is such a
contrast to the whiteness of the snow..and it just all seems to go
together so well..all the seasons of the year.. I have lived down
south.. florida..texas for over 13 years..THAT was fun.. I made
good money there and I loved the fishing and the water,, I lived
outside Houston in Pasadena where all the oil refinery stink was..
wind was wrong you sure could tell it.. The winters there were
more cold..but mainly RAIN...and dull..wasnt cold cold but did
get cool enough for a coat...I got tired of the rain..and to look
out at Christmas and not see snow..when you are used to it..I
got to missing it really bad..
I can look out the window now..I dont have to contend with driving
in blizzards..or storms.. but when I could drive I did..It was just
something you had to do to go to work..daily thing..and you just
do them...I dont miss driving in bad weather..but I do miss not
having a vehicle if I did want to go somewhere.. And it would be
nice if I did need to go that I could have someone come and use
my vehicle..that I could get into easily like a van with a ramp.. I
would go..well if I had a ramp here on the house too.. I sure wish
I could get one made soon..I just am not having any luck.. I know
I could get one made soon..I just am not having any luck.. I know
Donnie can build one..IF he can find the time..but I dont have the
money to pay for the wood.. But I sure do need one..
My list of "Sure do Need" keeps getting longer and longer..but I
think the first 2 on the list are the ramp and the freezer..well may
be a washing machine too..THAT sure would help alot..I cant wait
till I can get this place all straightened out.. I talked to a friend today
that agreed to come and help me move my bedroom around and
take stuff to the basement etc..maybe even check out this floor
under this carpet.. We have to go and get the rest of the stuff out
of storage too..that is a MUST..I dont want to pay for another 2
more weeks rent there.. I have to try to get this stuff I need to be
able to cook and eat at least.. I dont care if I cant go out..but I
sure am sick of opening cans..I would love to fire up my crockpot
and put on a nice pot of beans..or make a nice roast..but I cant
now...I am just not set up to do that yet.. I may splurge and make
some fries tho.. I just dont like having to eat in the kitchen.. I liked
eating in the bedroom in front of the telly lol...They did come and
take back the stove today..maybe now I can get my kitchen all
set up .. I hope so...
Hope you enjoyed the photos of the trees..tomorrow I will put a new
one of me of course..lol..as I always do lol...I sure am enjoying my
curtains..and you know..they match my lamps perfectly? I may have
to phone my sister and tell her so she can watch for some material
so I can make some pillows for the couch.. lol.. It will look nice in here.
I am SO ready for it to look like someone lives here lol.. Nitey Nite..
Y'all have a good one now Y'hear? Luv ya..and thanks...
Always, Lois ****
God Bless you is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe

Hi, Honey,
The Good Lord is an artist, isn't He? Just look at a flower or a tree or a butterfly or my new-born Grandson!!
I sure hope you can find someone to make that ramp and get you all sorted out. This living out of cardboard boxes is no fun at all. The food thing is what would get to me, though. I'm a natural born PIG!!!
Take care, Hon. Lots of love and great big hugs from
Raife

Hi Sweetie :-)
Hope your having a good sunday...
Being so disorganized is the pits..I
am hoping tomorrow things may get put where they belong and I can get the rest out of storage.. Such a small place everything has to have its own spot.. or it wont work...
Yes, Im tired of soup or baked potatoes lol..I wanna COOK!! ;-)

Sundays can be very restful. I remember as a kid listening to the NY Philharmonic on a local AM radio station. There was no FM in those days. My parents made a big thing out of Sunday dinners. Now I am going upstairs to the ground floor and have a nice Sunday supper. Then watch 60 minutes on TV.
