~Photos of My Ramp!~ :-)

I promised photos of my beautiful ramps, here they are.

As my front door opens.. You see the first ramp..it goes

From the front door to the porch door..the door opens

from right to left swinging out.. Its a little steep but not

bad, by myself I probably would have a hard time with

nothing to hold on to to pull my self back in.. I havent

gone out on the porch to see if I can go over to the sides..
I didn't have time today so.. I don't plan to sit out there till

Summer anyway..

You can see where they extended the left side a bit

to allow the door to open wider which was very good

thinking , right there up to where you see the side rail

start is a flat area..and if you look to the right..you can

see the top of the mailbox where they moved it.. I

can go out and get my own mail now..well if I had my

power chair I would. Even though the steepness of the

ramp doesn't look like it would be hard to go up..trust

me it is..very hard.. I almost wish there was a side rail

by the inside ramp but then it would interfere with my

porch sitting..well maybe not if I just use the one side to

sit on.. But you see how nice it is.. I had to wait for Penny

to be here to take them its just too hard for me by myself..

The sun was hitting it just right to make it glare..lol..

You can see how nice and wide it is..and it goes all the way

down to the side walk..from there to the road..there is no side

walk on this side of the street along the west side of the house,

there is out here this faces south..and theres a side walk..

but why not on the side? I have no idea why..strange

there is on the other side..and a little farther down on this side

I saw there was..it just quit..lol..was a nice sunny day today too.
You can see how kinda close it is to the road..lol..

Now I have NO excuse not to go out, and I really am going to go...

I do have to go to sturgis..I have to get my ID..so I may

be using it for that..and I really do want to go to Home Depot.

I honestly think that should be my first stop. I may just make

arrangements for that on Friday call and see when I can get

a ride there.. Sturgis is..hmm I don't know how far in miles..I

know it takes maybe half hour to get there - Maybe lol..Anyways,
theres my new ramps..beautiful hey? im very pleased..my sis will
love it. :-)

My case worker from APS, Sandy, came this morning..she is

so pretty ..beautiful woman..shes one of those that smiles with

her whole face you know what I mean? Lol.. Anyway she got a

few more hours for me. A whole 1 more hour a week.. I now

get 40 hours and 8 minutes a month for home care..pitiful hey?

that's to do everything..laundry shopping, errands, cooking,

even my personal care! They have it down to minutes..I don't

know who they based their time allotments on but it had to be

a baby doll lol so now I have 10 hours and 2 minutes a week..

Well better than nothing ..Sandy said she is going to make

some calls about my chair.I showed her my hand and explained

to her what I had to do..she said perhaps she could find some

one to pay for the material And labor if I can find someone to

do it.. I have no one that could.. I sure am NOT asking Donald..

no way..that kid is too strung out as it is.. I told her about maybe

getting my money back from the rent I paid so I can pay these

bills..she was going to call about that too.. Tomorrow the wheel

chair guy is due to come here so I am anxious to see where

THAT goes, it better go somewhere I know.. :-)

And where I am going is in there on my bed.. Im tired ..I could

have slept late this morning but had to get up as Penny was

due here at 8 and Sandy got here at 9..Im tired.. I just worked

so hard today, typing is hard to do lol.. :-) Nitey Nite..:-)

Ps.. I did not get a newspaper today..I will get it tomorrow..It

may not be a newsworthy story, the lady at the paper didn't

seem to think was in todays either..so I don't know if it will

be in or not lol..oh well..that's not the point of all this.as long

as I go to Home Depot on my 1st outing..that's what counts.

and I will .. :-)
