~Summer fun Again~

Ive had this photo here before of Bond Falls, This is a wonderful

place and my mothers very best favorite I think.. was good fishing

too.. My dad fished here many times.. Up at the top of this is a

man made lake I think or its just a reservoir Im not sure, I have a

photo of it somewhere but my photos are just everywhere I take

them out of the books and don't put them back.. That would be

an all day job, but it would be easier to find what I want than

going thru a box. Up and down each side ..the right side is a main

way to go, easy climbing up or down cuz of stairs they put in etc.

But you can go across the bottom where you see my dad and I

looking at the bottom of the falls..if we looked straight ahead we

would look at that top photo.. Someone was fishing and got a

nice one and we were watching..
You can see the smile on our faces, my dad you can tell by

his eyes.. he had the most beautiful blue eyes, and he had a

gold tooth, even had it put into his dentures when he had them

made. He had to, we all knew him by that gold tooth.. :-) I was

living in Texas with my 2nd hubby Willie, and we had come

home for a holiday. I have my hair really UP in this one.. I

think this was taken probly in 75 maybe, I wish I had written

the dates on them .. too late now..but it was close around then,

give or take a year or 2.. NOW.. a test.. In the photo below..

its of a family picinic at of course Sunset Lake. Can you find

me in it? Now..my cousin Janet is there too and shes a blonde..

so..looky see..find me??
Ya, that's me in the middle, my cousin Janet is in the black top

talking to my dad. I stayed in my suit and just wrapped a towel

around.. We were having a great time.. In the very front sitting

is the same guy from last nites post holding the fish..yes, my

first ex, Danny.. over on the right, sitting is my Aunt Phyllis, I

don't know where my Uncle Phil was , the way shes looking at

the water I bet he was out there in his boat.. My sister and I

rented this cottage for 2 weeks.. Danny and I drove up from

Pennsylvania, and my sister Gayle, flew in from Hawaii..Shes

in the photo but behind my Aunt Gladys that is talking to Mary

to her right, then is my Uncle Gordon in the hat.. Mary is the

one that was in the front of the boat photo last nite.. Over in

front of the cabin door is my cousin Willard and I don't know

who is next to him , Probly my mom or one of my other Aunts.

My Aunt Phyllis there in front is my mothers sister...

You can see the table with the coffee pot and all the deserts, we

had already eaten.. There were 2 cottages there my sister and

her hubby and son were in that one you can see there..My ex

and I were in one that is off to the right.. NOW..that little smaller

building on the left..know what that is? its a sauna.. They are

very popular up there and most everyone has one..They go in

there get all hot and sweaty then run and make a mad dash for

the lake and jump in.. was fun to watch them do it.. My dad,,

uncles, my ex, not me..when they hit that water as warm as they

were from that sauna, they would all yell so loud you would think

we were being attacked or something.. Was a great day, lasted

till way past sunset...

I want you to know how good it smells in here..Penny came today

and put a loaf of bread into the bread machine..well no no..she

put the MIX into the bread machine..I had some saffron I have

been hoarding that a dear friend sent to me a long time ago..It

was securely packaged so I didn't worry about it losing anything.

The smell is about to drive me nuts.. I have waited now for over

6 years to have some saffron rolls or bread..its bread today.. My

Cousin June is the only one in the family that is left that can make

the good saffron and she is over 80 now and doesn't cook like

she used to.. I had considered contacting her just to get her old

recipes that I know she has that were her mother's . my Aunt

Ethel, she came over from England too, My Uncle Stanley was

my grandfathers brother, the 3 brothers came over from cambourne..

or cornwall..something like that.. I would Love to put a recipe book

together of these wonder ones that they have.. Some I have of my

mothers date back to 1921.. I wish I knew a collector to give them

to..just to preserve them.. I am hoping perhaps Kelli will want some

of this stuff.. I hope so.. She goes to Louisiana next week to visit

my ex, Willie, her Papa.. they are very close.. then back and then

her sister Nikki will have a C Section to have her new baby boy.

That will make Donnie grandpa 3 times.. Cameron, Kristin, and

this new baby I think will be Christopher..not sure.. She is VERY

ready to have this baby..

Well time for the saffron bread.. And to surf a bit to try to get my wav

sites back that I lost.. That makes me so mad.. Well time for bread,

TV and I KNOW I will find that sleep button on that clicker, I was up

at 5:35 and Im kinda ready to get out of this chair.. so you know what

that means.. "Nitey, Nite"
