~TRY is THE Word~ :-)

Not a lot going on today, but it sure is a nice sunny day

out there. We are enjoying the WARM :-) I did know

about the heat escaping through your head.. like Raife

mentioned.. but I just didn't put a hat on.. The cold air

was the hardest part, but I made it and none the worse

for wear and tear... :-) When you try, things will work

out.. in time, sometimes the wait is TOO long.. but in

the end.. things seem to work out.. for me anyway. They
will if you TRY!! :-)

Ive been looking at the calendar and plotting my months

budget, which I sure have to do this month as its almost

a five week month.. It started off rough, as they changed

the date of my food stamps.. from the 1st to the 8th now.

So that meant I was a week behind in getting them, which

meant that they didn't let me know in enough time to do

a better budget in case my food stamps run out, which they

did the end of last month.. about the 29th.. I didn't think

this change started till May! I was wrong.. I re checked

the letter they DID send and I read where it was started

THIS month.. So I had to use cash for what I needed this

past week, well since the 29th.. So THIS month has already

started out on a kinda bad, but not really, note.

Hopefully things wont get too scarey this month.. I am glad

to say that there is a new program something like the Angel

Food, but it has a new name now, "Food For All". and the

packages they have are LOTS better it seems.. more to

choose from... Peggy from the church sent me a flier on it

and phoned last nite.. So I did order my usual.. and the

delivery is the 18.. which the other waited till the last

Saturday of the month.. I am anxious to see if its any

different at all.. Its a great deal and I sure missed it

the past while Ive not gotten it.. I'm glad its back.. :-)

I, well Penny, got the box mailed to my son for Easter

and his birthday.. I hope he likes it... He reads this so

I'm not gonna say what I sent... I'm sure he will though.

Nothing spectacular.. but just for him.. Mark told me that

Tyler loves the Power Rangers.. I had some material at

one time of them, I wish I had it now ! But I did get a

action figure of one of them, theres five .. I remember

the Power Rangers from years ago.. What I didn't know

was that they are a Disney creation.. I sent Ty 2 space

guns too that hopefully his mum and dad wont mind.. :-)

Theyre water guns.. :-) I tried them and they DO WORK.

Ask Dutch :-) theyre powerful too.. So Mark and Tyler

can have a water fight on a nice hot day.. I think they

have them in the UK.. :-) I'm kidding.. I KNOW y'all

have MORE than just RAIN over there ! :-) Never see a

Brit without a bumbershoot though :-) Know what a

bumbershoot is? :-) come on Raife, YOU know !! :-) I

will let y'all guess in the comments.. guess right.. hmmmm..

My boy is coming over tonite. I called Donnie to find out

his plans to come and get his business cards.. So I asked.

John and he are coming over tonite.. I told him I would

make a meat pie.. Donnie says "Gran, JOHN, is coming

with me.. we're 2 big guys you know!".. like, how could I

NOT know :-) So I am posting this, heading to the kitchen

and making a meat pie for the boys... I might as well

adopt John too :-)... Donnie says he might move here.. hes

another that has lost his job.. These kids of mine are just

having a hard way to go and the bad part is, I don't know

how to help them... I sure would.. Guess I need a plan of

attack for that too :-)

I'm helping my self right now, by going and making this pie,

hopefully they will put up my curtain brackets.. and then I

can get my new curtains up.. Ive been looking at them here

now for 2 weeks.. I WANT MY CURTAINS UP!!!! :-) Tonite,

tonite.. I will exchange that meat pie for curtain put-ER-uppin!
