~Gramma's Busy~

I havta take a picture of the boys too, or they get jealous :-)

Yesterday I watched the lady I call Gramma.

She lives kinda across the street but not

really, shes on the other corner. She lives

across the street, on a corner from the

red truck house.. I have names for every

one in this neighborhood it seems. I did

notice the ramp guys house now has a

for sale sign hanging out front too..Things

change so fast.
It was a fairly nice day, the sun was in and

out and it was warm if you stayed in the sun.

I watched Gramma as she worked out in her

huge yard getting it ready for spring blooms.

This lady, I was told by Carl, 2 years ago,

was over 80. She is most active for her age.

She tends her garden faithfully, and she is

very rewarded with all the lovely flowers that

will come up and bloom for her...She drives

to church every Sunday, she leaves at 9:20

and is home by noon. Down the street there

is a church so I am thinking she may go to

that one.

She goes quite often and has quite a bit of

company, lots of times I see cars over there.

When she is out tending her garden the 2

orange kitties follow her around and every

once in awhile you can see her stop to pet

and love on them a little. She keeps food

out for them too.. Lots of people, the red

truck house keeps a bowl of food out for

the kitties too. That's nice to see.. I sure

wish I could let a couple of them in here,

but as moody as my boys have been lately

I'm surprised they allow ME in here !

Anyway, as I watched that lady I got to thinking

about her age and she is so busy and active,

then I look at my self..I'm 66 and that lady can

run circles around me.. I wish I could live to be

80 and in that good condition..I'm very happy

for her..and maybe the Lord willing I just MIGHT

make it to 80..A dear friend of mine in the UK is

80 and he tells me all the stuff he does and makes,

his wife as well.. I could never keep up !!! :-)

Penny made some good spaghetti sauce for me

for the week end but I don't know if I'm gonna

have that today or not, I have some shrimp in

the freezer and I LOVE that stuff so that may

be what I have. I'm not hungry YET so I still

have time to decide what I wanna eat.

In the meantime I'm gonna post this and I'm

gonna try to clear off my table and get my

sewing machine set up.. Kirsten is such a

sweet girl and I want to make some things

for her, maybe a couple cute sun dresses.

Ive been trying to think of stuff to send all

the grands for Easter and I'm not doing real

well YET.. I don't wanna send candy, I did

get a nice watch for Kirsten tho. Dora , she

loves Dora and Alex likes Diego so I'm gonna

look for a couple videos for him.. Andrea is

so young she will give me problems but I will

think of something..Maybe I will be able to

make a few dresses for her...Making dresses

for little girls is such fun..When Kelli was small

I made quite a few for her, with matching panties,

which she quickly showed to everyone no matter

where she was..When she showed her Papa, he

about had a stroke, but still laughed.. :-)

Time to post and get busy while I still have a

little energy.. Remember I am still a MOST
GORGEOUS WEEBLE ..Keep well and
