~22 Blooms Just for Me~

I got up early about 5 and of course its still dark. I had to wait for the
sun to come up so I could look out and see what kind of surprise my
glories would have for me today. They didn't disappoint me at all.. I
counted 22 blooms out there. Some are behind the leaves but they are
increasing every day.. I wish we had a little better set up for them..Well
we learned this year and now know what to do for next! :-) I wish those
flowers knew how much I appreciate the joy they give to me.. :-)
The birds hadnt been coming around but I noticed that
yesterday some have started and I see the little black
squirrel is back too. When there is a cat around outside
birds or squirrels wont tangle with them. Why people
let their cats outside I don't understand anyway.. I used
to let mine out, Until I called my big black Burmese,
Skeeter, to come home. As he ran across the street he
was hit and killed by a car. I said then no more of my
cats will go outside. I don't get mine declawed either.
How do they scratch with no claws.. Would you like your
fingernails taken out? If you teach a cat they will learn.
So many think they are not smart at all..Yes,, they are.
VERY smart..and almost a better watchdog than a dog.
I know when someone is near because mine run to the
door ! These 2 crazy guys are GLAD when someone
comes by.. I laugh and just tell everyone that comes
here theyre just super friendly , not the real truth
that they are just SO GLAD to see someone OTHER
than ME for a change :-) They will greet you at the door.
And DONT expect to not pet Dutch.. you will..trust me.
Or he will let you know.."HEY! PET ME!" hes very mouthy
too :-)
I took this photo yesterday and was going to use it for to
day and then today decided to take a different one after
I got dressed. Its a new top andThat's not pants..its a skirt.
That slit is the kick pleat that is sposta be in the back.
Well its not good in the back then I'm sitting on all that.
So I twist it around and have the pleat in front..I laughed
when I saw this cuz it looks just like I have pants on ..
and well, we ALL know that AINT gonna happen!! :-)
The Yellow skirt is an old one but the top is new, I took this
one after I spaced out the fact I had that other one for to
day. I asked a friend which one I should put here and well,
the reply was BOTH!... so I did :-)

I have a bruise on the back of my right hand that is really
sore. I drank too much yesterday and I had to get up last
nite and as I was going into the bathroom I misjudged that
door again and I was going a tad too fast as usual..well- on
the bare floor its so nice to be able to roll easy and I take
advantage of it by going faster, and I hit that door frame
really hard and I have a knot and a bruise. I do that a lot
though when I'm not careful.. Ive learned..or so I thought,
not to keep my hands on the wheels as I go through a door
way just for that reason..I was just going too fast and didn't
leave myself enough time to get my hand out of the way..
Just more joys of chair life... :-)

I havent made my Sunday dinner yet and I don't know what
I really want. I got up so early I'm not really up to making a
big dinner so maybe just a PB&J would be good.. I put a can
of pears in the fridge to get them ice cold I think I will
have some of those too. I don't eat a lot of fruit but every
so often I like to have usually pears or peaches but they
have to be COLD.. I do like all the berries tho.. My sis got
some blueberries she said and made what she calls "stuff".
Its her own recipe and its good.. when we used to ask her
what it was she always just said Blueberry stuff.. so that
name stuck..its like a cobbler.. Good is what it is.. She
forgot to bring some when she brought my tops.. she does
most times if she can keep Stanley out of it.. :-)

Well I'm done for today and I am off to go and chat with
a dear friend for awhile. Then dinner, TV and SLEEP! I
am not drinking too much so hopefully there will no run
ins with the door tonite :-) This GORGEOUS WEEBLE
says "nitey nite" .. :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks :-)

~I Wanna ReDo~

Ive been trying to figure a way to redo my bedroom
so I have a little more room to navigate. I have one
path thru the room with just enough room to turn my
chair so I can pull up alongside my bed. I had the bed
the other way before when I had that really old bed
I got from the shelter. It was not quite as big as a
twin bed, more like a day bed.. I had thought of just
trying to get a recliner, one of those big huge ones.
I saw one that the arm rests open to keep stuff in,
like the clicker or candy or stuff..But the price..well
its not with in my range.. I think a recliner would work.

My sister, for quite awhile slept in her recliner until
she got her hospital bed. She has a really bad shoulder
and if she lays a certain way, well shes not gonna sleep.
She had a nice one and I remember sitting in it and it
was so huge and comfy I just snuggled right down in
that chair and I didn't get up.. But that was because
there were about a dozen others that wanted to sit in
it too! This was at a Christmas eve party at my sisters.
When all the kids and grands and great grands are at
her house..well she got a bigger house didn't she? :-)

I can only sleep comfortably on my back or sitting up. I
cant lay on my left side as I have a abdominal bypass
that goes down my side. The 2nd one they had to do in
2000 after my heart bypass and the 2 leg bypasses.. I
don't know which year was worse, 2000 or 2001.. The
one year was surgeries that I got better. But the ones
the next year..the 3 I had were amputations..they'res
NO recovering from that. Well there is..but your not
the same outwardly.. Inside, yes..

Being a amputee hasnt changed who I am at all..In fact
I would say its..well 'enhanced?' certain features I
have..but nothings changed inwardly , well maybe my
determination and my needing to keep up this fight.
The main thing that's totally obvious is that I'm so
much shorter.. I went to get my state ID..I had to
go to the license branch.. The lady asks me.."How
tall are you?" I looked up at her and smiled as I
rolled back so she could see me and said.."then or now?
I WAS 5 foot 4 inches, so just minus a couple of feet
and Id guess I'm 3 foot 4 now", we both laughed..when
she asked she immediately looked so embarrassed and
I felt for her.. when I said that to her it helped. I
could see she felt kinda bad for asking. But it was ok..

Well this shorty as my boy, Donnie sometimes calls me.. I
have so many nick names.. Shots, BOO, Shorty, Well..I don't
care what they call me as long as its not late for supper :-)
I think I hear my kitchen calling me, good thing too cuz I'm
hungry... I call me a GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite". :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear ? Love ya, and Thanks!

~We Need Rain~

I had Penny go out and take some photos again for me
this morning.. She brought the camera back in and I went
to download them. When I opened the door to the card
part, well..there was no card in it!..So she had to go back
out and take some more, which she really doesn't mind
doing.. That photo shows how dry my grass is that I had
NOT noticed from inside here. We sure could use some
rain I think..Now that I think about it its been quite a while
since it has.. My snowball bush is in its last stages and we
spaced out getting a photo then.. We just stay so busy here.
Not really but that sounds good :-)
Penny was going to take a photo of the other side but there
were no glories on that side.. Next year we will put the wire
down to the bottom and all the way up to the top of the fence,
and I bet that whole thing will be covered for sure.. I didn't
have to replant every spring when I had them before..so I hope
I wont these... They are so nice to see out there...What ever
that green plant is its about to bloom too..By next week I am
sure it will be out in full... I will have to watch it.

I havent done anything special today and I feel like I have not
accomplished anything.. I feel sometimes just what purpose is
all of this. But then I think again and am so grateful for all I
do have.. Not everything Id like but..well this isnt too bad. I
appreciate what I do have, but I think if I was satisfied then
maybe I wouldn't try as hard to do or change things.. Then I think
I would just sit back and roll with the flow, so to speak.. Maybe
I just like to make waves once in a while to keep it more interesting
and a ride I don't mind taking..rough or not.. Its an experience..
To be like this, sure I wasn't prepared, sure wasn't what I wanted
at all..but well like I tell everyone.. All they were was legs, and the
very best part is still intact which is ME.. a GORGEOUS WEEBLE...
That's the main thing.. I am still surviving.. Maybe not the way I
really want to but well its better than the alternative isnt it?

I watched my netflix last nite and as much as I like the show on TV
of Stargate, this movie wasn't that great.. was hard to keep up with
where they were and the whole plot.. Its out waiting to be picked up
and by Monday maybe I should have the next one on my list.. I like
watching these, I just wish I could watch them in my bedroom and
then I could get out of this chair and get really comfy to enjoy the
movie.. But until I can I'm not complaining.. I get to watch them
and that's the main thing..so many cant see at all.. I'm most grateful.
I'm blind in my left eye so I half way understand.. of all the disabling
things I think blindness is the hardest.. How do you describe a color?
or the sky...you can textures, cuz you can feel them... but things that
can only be seen to be appreciated..I think blindness would be the
hardest ..

Well the hard thing for me to do right now is roll out to that kitchen
and get a Carmel ice cream Sundae that Penny got for me today when
she got my icee.. I LOVE Carmel sundaes... MMM good stuff .. I think
I will play some solitare and I have to try to clean out my inbox.. I
joined a group that just sends too much.. makes email a job then and
email is should be a good thing.. Time for my treat but not before my
GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite"... :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and THANKS!!

~Horses~

Photo from the www
I got my movie yesterday and I didn't even watch it
last nite and now I'm a day late..I might just wait and
watch it tomorrow, since usually the only thing on that
I watch is the bull riding contests.. Boy some of the
kicks and stomps those boys get is awful. I feel sorry
for those bulls, but I guess theyre bred for that.
Like race horses. A friend is going to buy a new draft
horse and already has 2 of those pissy horses I call
them I can never remember the name let alone spell
it, so pissy horse works for me..Its really a Percheron
or something like that.. My spell checker quit working.
:-) Huge beautiful animals. I think those budweiser
horses are those kind or maybe theyre Clydesdales
which is a big horse like the pissy kind.

They all like to work..or pull as I'm told..They enjoy doing
things like pulling a plow or a wagon. Down in Indiana by
Goshen, or Middlebury, and specially Shipshewanna.. A lot
of Amish.. To go by their farms is amazing..No electric or
cars.. They have their own schools. The stores in Shipshe,
as we call it have lots of Amish things.. The hurricane lamps
are wonderful..and the home made quilts are amazing..
There are a few restaurants there and bakeries and if you
can make it through that town with out stopping, well you
do better than I do..

My sis and I went there all the time, year round. The summers
in Shipshe they have a 10 acre flea market that is awesome.
You cant even really go to every booth there. They have a big
center where the flea market is, and auctions and of course
a great pork palace..with some great food.. For my sister and
I our main reason for going was the fabric shops.. There is
one store we had gone to just right after it opened and we
walked thru that door and both of us just stood there with
out mouths open totally in awe of all the material..we didn't
know what to look at first.. we both headed off in different
directions.. I'm a silk and cotton person, shes quilted and
cotton... :-) The Amish ladies are famous for their sewing
and their quilts. I know they have a tour thing selling the
crafts made called Shipshe on the Road or something..

Of course we couldn't leave town with out going to that great
little restaurant that every thing they make right down to the
butter and jam and breads AND its their own beef. The food
is terriffic and next to Come and Dine its the best.. Come and
Dine is a Amish place and there are quite a few around.. Its a
big huge open room with tables and when you go you order
either beef, pork or chicken, They bring the meat you ordered
and in separate bowls are the potatoes, veggies, 2 kinds. They
give everyone a plate and you serve yourself as if you were at
home.. Great food.. To go with Stanley? well its his kind of place.
He says he got tired of going to Country Buffet as he wore
himself out going back and forth to the food.. This at Come and
Dine they keep the bowls full and hot. Stanley loves good food,
I swear ive seen sparks fly from his fork and knife at times ..
:-D... Stan likes good food...

Everywhere are horses and buggys, my friend with the pissy horse
says theirs will pull wagons and I had said I bet I could drive a
wagon.. well horses that is.. I bet its not too hard.. and I think it
would be great fun.. Being pulled around in a beautiful carriage by
a huge gorgeous black horse? Be great... I bet I would try it :-)
We had talked about whether I could ride.. I think so.. If I had a
special saddle to put my stumps into for leverage so I wouldn't
fall off... Ive never ridden a horse, but I think theyre one of the
most beautiful animals there are.. Riding on them I don't know..
Id try but I think the carriage would be better a safer ride.

Well, my ride for today is out to eat my lunch. Its mashed tatoes
and pork roast and gravy..sadly with carrots.. If it wasn't such
good pork and gravy I probly wouldn't open it cuz of the carrots.
They must be cheap lately every other day we get carrots .. I
do NOT like carrots :-) I'm hungry so its food, solitare and then
to watch TV. then sleep.. I am tired.. Time for my GORGEOUS
WEEBLE "nitey nite"... :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks!! ;-)

~Music is Good For You~

Every day I surf and look for music sites, as I really
enjoy music.. It helps keep me happy. Today I found a
great site with accordion music, which I enjoy, as it
makes me vaguely remember my Aunt Phyllis used to
play one... It suited her as she was always happy and
joking around. All my family enjoyed music. I still hear
my mothers radios playing in every room. When you went
to the bathroom as soon as you turned on the light the
radio came on set to her favorite station which of course
was WIKB...

When I was listening to some polka music It made me
remember the times they had this great little German band
come in and play for us at the home, 5 people.. It was just
great to hear them.. Everyone enjoyed it. One dear friend,
a lady named June loved it.. She was in the later stages
of cancer and lost a little ground every day. She used
to always sit by me so we could talk.. Lovely lady..

The next night the German band was there of course she
sat next to me in her chair and we sang to some of them
and she was so happy.. Suddenly she got up and went over
to another lady there that I really didn't know, other than
her name was Kathryn and she was VERY ill..... June stood
next to her then started to sing to her in German to one of
the songs.. She stood sort of next to her with her arm around
the shoulders of the woman and with her left hand she
reached and would gently stroke this ladys face. In between
them she would hug her close and kiss her cheek... She stood
there for quite a while loving on this lady and no one told her
to stop. Soon a nurse came and told June, "June, dear, your
sister has to go back to her room now, we will bring you to see
her tomorrow, kiss her good night".

With that said, June gently kissed her sister and hugged her
close. The nurses pushed Kathryn back to her room.. That night
Kathryn passed away. I think of that when I hear a German polka
and how happy June and Kathryn were that last nite together as
sisters, how happy they were. Every time June would hug her sis
or kiss her face her sister would smile broadly and you could see
how happy she was even though she couldn't say a word.

To me it shows that never to wait to show someone or something
you care about them.. It may be your last chance.. I don't take any
chances like that... I take nothing for granted.. life can change in
the blink of an eye and at least half of the times it may not be for
the better. You love someone, care about them? TELL THEM!....

Penny came today and so did Rebecca and Kathy and her husband!
I have had a full day! Kathy is Pennys sister, they came to get
some of that Styrofoam out of my garage that is Donnies.. I am
selling it for him. Kathy and Neil are insulating their house more,
it works great for that.. Dawn is due to come over later to pick up
some homemade bean soup I made yesterday. I ate 3 as in THREE
bowls of it and I am giving the rest to the kids. Its really good,
but Ive had my fill... I got my next net flix today..a Stargate one.
I like that show on TV.. its something like star trek and that was
one of my favorites.. I liked captain Kirk but Piccard now, hes ok
too ! :-)

They brought blueberry pie for desert today- I'm gonna have that
and watch my net flix and just have a good time. Time to post this
and time to watch the show but first my GORGEOUS WEEBLE
"nitey nite"....

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks!! :-)

~Salad Is Good~

My New Suncatcher
Well today is another one of those I don't know what
to write about.. Surprising hey? I get that way every
once in a while... Just not too much happened today and
I had no company other than the new guy delivering my
salad lunch... Its pretty good.. I just have to dig out the
carrots and green peppers.. I like green pepper IN stuff
but not to just eat in a salad. It was pretty good one had
lots in it, like a chef salad and I enjoy them.. A nice big
salad to me is a great dinner...well depends on how the
lettuce is torn.. Never cut it with a knife you know .. Why?
I dunno.. that's what my mother told me so that's what I
do... I just like small pieces of lettuce and not big hunks
of it.. and I like the INSIDE of a head of lettuce.. I like
vinegar and oil dressing .. sometimes Italian. Salads are
good for you. Its the dressing that does a person in..

David liked that chunky blue cheese dressing and ...well it
is NOT my favorite. I'm not a cheese person that much and
I guess its cuz I'm lactose intolerant..When we lived in Green
Bay, being the cheese capitol, David was in his glory, he loved
cheese.. We had taken a ride up to Door county and there was
a huge cheese store on the way.. We went past it on the way
up but I KNEW on the way back that the car would be stopping
at that place on the way back.. And it did. :-)

When we walked into that store I have never seen so much
cheese in one place in all my life.. They had just about every
kind known to man. David grabbed a cart and started to load
cheese in it as he walked up and down the aisles.. Every so
often he would get a sample that they had all over in there
When I looked at the cart it had at least 6 different kinds
that David, of course, just HAD to try, I had to keep telling
him "we CAN come back again!" he would have gotten some
of every kind in there I think ! :-)

When we got in the car I told him I would drive so he could sit
and enjoy his cheeses.. As we went down the road David sampled
every single one of them and offered a bite of each one to me.
I like cheese, it doesn't like me.. David says to me "Boo, try this",
its sposed to be OLD cheese, that's fermented or aged or what
ever it is they do to cheese..

I sort of leaned towards him as he put a piece of that "aged"
cheese into my mouth.. I mean- ICK!! I thought I was gonna just
pass out the taste was so awful.. I could even smell it and it
honestly made my eyes water.!. I had to pull the car over to
the side of the road and needless to say I DID get rid of
that cheese in my mouth and that I stupidly swallowed.. It
was the most horrible stuff I have EVER had in my mouth.

David, sat there and laughed at me at first till he saw how
sick it made me. He had to drive home the rest of the way
and every so often he would have to stop so I could get
rid of MORE of that cheese ! :-) I was so sick by the time
I got back that I didn't want to even SEE a piece of cheese
for a LONG time.. David ATE that stuff even and had NO
trouble with it.. Me? well Swiss or Pepper Jack is about as
AGED as I want in cheese :-)

Well its that time again and I am tired for not doing one
thing other than just sit.. but its tiring too really.. I'm so glad
I had this chair made bigger so that I can shift around in
it and not just have to sit one way.. I need room to MOVE..
Specially when music is playing :-) Time to post, time to eat,
and then its off to watch TV.. Tuesday? not much on tonite.
Guess its Animal Planet or Food :-) This GORGEOUS
WEEBLE bids you "Nitey Nite"... :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya, and thanks !
Always, Lois ****

God Bless you, is my prayer today,

~A Van~

Penny said my glories have gone thru the fence and are
on the other side as well and have flowers too.. She said
its really pretty.. Every day there are more and more..The
vines are all over and I told Penny today that we need some
more chicken wire to put on this whole side of that fence,
right down to the ground.. Next year that thing will be
covered and be just beautiful...
A friend of mine told me that they are going to sell
or trade in their van. Its a ford Aerostar, 97. I sure
would like to have it.. Ive been giving it a lot of thought
as to how it would benefit me to have one.. Specially
when it comes to Dr appointments and such. I wouldn't
have to worry about making sure I remembered to
schedule a ride or that I couldn't get one as the vans were
already booked by someone going to the beauty shop..

I called Disability Resources here to find out if they would
help me and they will help me get a ramp installed. How
ever the cost of it would be up to me.. I have a call in to my
caseworker at APS...and am waiting for a call back from them.
For as much as I would use it and being I have a safe record
and just basic insurance would not be that much I called and
inquired about that so I would have some estimate on what
it would cost me a year for insurance on it.. I'm waiting for
Terry to call me back as to what the insurance would be. If
push come to shove I could have it put in Donnies name and
pay for the insurance that way.. But I sure would like to have
my own vehicle... That's what I'm saving for.. Then when I can
I plan to check out getting certified for hand controls. I
want to be able to go..

Well its like I told Terry, I have this van, if someone came to
visit and we wanted to go out to eat, we could take my van, I
wouldn't have to transfer and it would be great.. I will get my
License back so that if I want to drive it I can.. I have a
perfectly clear driving record.. Ive only gotten 1 ticket in my
life and that was when I totalled my 63 black chevy impala..
Those were dark days... the days when I drank..'72.. yes, I did.
I don't now, and havent for I bet 25 years.. I have a tiny
little travel size vodka up here on my desk, a friend gave it
to me and its so cute sitting there, I am not inclined to even
open it..

Back when I lived in Houston, I did drink, I was living with Sid
then, and he drank like a fish. We went out on the weekends
and went to the bars.. It got old and I never was very at ease
in one, too many crazies...We had drank a lot one night and had
met there after work, I had gotten there before Sid so I was
a few drinks ahead. We got into an argument and drank even
more.. Sid was a slap happy guy if you know what I mean, and
I got furious and stormed out of the bar. I got into my car
and headed back out the 225 freeway.. I missed my exit and
kept going.. Next thing I knew I lost control and I was doing
spin arounds up against the guard rail..there wasn't a smooth
spot on that car..

When the car finally came to a stop, I had hit my head right
between the eyes on the steering wheel and I mean I saw
stars... I don't remember a lot I think I must have passed
out a few times.. They took me to hospital and said other
than the knot on my forehead and bruises from being thrown
around in that car I was fine..

The next day I got up and I didn't know a body could hurt in
so many different places at one time.. I think it even hurt
between my toes it was so bad.. I had to go to the towing
place to get the things out of my car, I stood there with the
guy, looking totally awful, 2 black eyes and a knot between
my eyebrows that looked like Id been hit with a sledge
hammer.. The man asked me "how many people were killed?"

After he said that, I looked at my beautiful car.. that I
loved dearly all totally smashed and realized what it cost
me to have that drink, or what it could have cost me, my
life or even the life of someone else, that scared me,
and right then and there I quit then and havent touched a
drop since.. Well no .. .not true, I have had a few wine
coolers .. but a drink or beer? well I never did like beer..
The only 2 things I liked were vodka, and had to be in
orange juice or tomato,, and tequila.. I LOVE margaritas..
but I know what it can do and I aint drinking it ... I really
don't miss it.. My lime icee is better than ANY kind of
other drink as far as I'm concerned..

Well I'm done for today and I'm hungry. .Penny came and
finished cleaning up the kitchen floor... I told her it was
really my own fault for leaving the bag of rice out.. I knew,
but spaced it out.. We will learn.. She had taken a bag of
cat food out to fill the container and put it down to come
in here and do something, next thing we hear paper ripping,
she went out and looked and Dutch was opening that bag.
She caught him just in time before he really punctured it
and cat food would have gone everywhere.. She laughed.
Bags and boxes the boy goes nutz.. we will learn.. :-) if we
don't, well, then we clean!! :-)

Time to post and time to eat my late lunch.. I did remember
to mail back the netflix I hope the next one is as good as
this last one.. I don't remember what it is.. I should have
one back by Thursday if not Wednesday... This is such a
neat thing.. I wish I had thought of it sooner.. Well time
for my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? Love ya and THANKS!
Always, Lois ****

God Bless You, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you friend,
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
until I write again....

~Kid Got Caught~ :-)

Looky my boy, he got caught :-) he loves to play in the
sink. I missed LB cuz he was in there too! see the time?
I had just gone out there. They trashed my kitchen last
nite too I want you to know.. I rolled in there and had to
just sit and do one of my very familiar..'ok, how we gonna
clean this up with out making it worse'. Remember I said
I got my angel food yesterday? Well..this big dummy forgot
that there was a bag of rice.. You KNOW the boy has a
"thing" about bags, boxes and that kinda stuff.. ok..you're
already ahead of me aint ya? :-)

Yup, It looked like it snowed rice all over the floor, the table
and HOW it got into the sink I don't know unless perhaps it
could be from that little glass jar I keep on the table for them
with water in it? Know where THIS is going? :-) Ya, the boy
was playin I guess, had to have been, I hope, or was just bein
mean seein how big a mess he could make for his mother to
clean up!.. The water spilled onto the table..and onto the floor.
SO.. needless to say I had glued rice stuck to my table AND
to the floor.. water splashes when it hits the floor you know,
and rice..well it goes everywhere.. :-) I have such fun here :-)

When I sat there by the fridge I was glad I hadnt gone forward
to turn the light on, it was already light or I would have rolled over
all that mess. It took me for ever to clean that up.. The broom was
hanging in the basement stairwell so I couldn't get that, I used a
piece of cardboard off a box that was in the living room and sort
of scooted all that mess on that. The floor is still sticky but I did
get most of it up.. Penny will have to get the rest tomorrow.. But I
sure had a great start to my day.. I really did laugh though, I could
see those 2 cats just having a blast playin in all that knowing I was
asleep and they could get away with it.. Kids :-)
Well.. theres 1 of todays photos.. That is a new skirt. My sis brought
it when she came.. Was on sale for only 3 dollars and as pretty as it
is I'm surprised it was marked so low.. Its 2 layers, the under is
longer with a matching hem to the top part. Its very see thru with
out the black lining, its silk and I LOVE it :-)
I wanted to see which top I liked better and I don't have a mirror
big enough to see more than just my face.. So I decided to take a
photo in each top :-) Plus it makes me have to put 2 here of this
GORGEOUS WEEBLE.. :-) Be glad! There are 6 total! :-) If you
want all of them, write to me and ask.. :-) Which top is better? I
have such hard decisions to make :-D...aint it awful? I Love it :-)
Note the lid is off the birdseed, something, probly that gray cat, has
laid in the center of my flowers and note on the rose bush the leaves
are coming back for the 2nd bloom.!. I cant wait to see them ! :-)
My glories this morning all standing so proud and beautiful
out there like they are just waiting for me to see them. I
sure am enjoying them I hope they know it :-)

I watched THE BEST movie .. the net flix one, called NEXT with
Nick Cage.. Its one of those at the end you gasp and say "WOW!"
It was a little over on the violence, but I really really enjoyed it.
He could see into the future but only 2 minutes ahead. It was a
good movie the more it went on..then the end comes and your
even more surprised! It was good... I watched it Friday night
and went brain dead yesterday I guess and forgot to send it
back so now I wait till tomorrow.. I don't know what my next is.

Well I don't know what my next movie is but I know what I'm
gonna do next is go out and make myself some dinner. I havent
eaten today at all and I'm hungry.. I have a chicken I may stuff
with some corn bread dressing, stove top is the best and this
sounds so good with some mashed potatoes.. am I making you
hungry? Well come on ! :-) Time to post, time to eat then time
to sleep, first my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "Nitey Nite " :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks !

~It's Everywhere~

I was talking to a friend in the UK yesterday that told me
about a young man there, an amputee. He grows his own pot
to help him with his problems. From what I gather they did
arrest him as its illegal.. I bet I know a dozen amputees that
do smoke and would agree that it does help immensely.. I
think so.. Ive tried it.. and It helped me with the phantoms
AND with the depression.. well who can be depressed on that
stuff anyway? If it don't make you laff then you better check
to see your still breathin.. I say every once in a while it would
be great if they did legalize it..but then again.. no I don't. If
they do the cost would be outrageous just like our medications
we have to buy.. Ever wonder why you can get meds so cheap
in Canada and Mexico? Why do we have to pay so much?

I used to take 16 pills a day a few years ago.. and I got so mad,
how can THAT many pills help? I had ALL those things wrong?
Well I said before I put all my pills in the trash for a year... I
felt I was able to THINK again.. and I will be honest.. I smoked
pot AND.. IT WORKED~!~... I felt once I got off all those meds
that I was human again.. that I REALLY COULD THINK~!!~ I
couldn't afford to buy the stuff but I had some dear friends
that would help me by giving me the crumbs from theirs.. Not
often that wouldn't be fair.. But It DID work for my phantoms.
The depression seemed to get under control and I wasn't so UP
one day and then DOWN the next.. that will drive you nuts!

A friend told me about someone they knew that was told they
had the big C... Cancer.. I told them to go buy a juicer, go get
some organic carrots and take them to their friend and tell
them NOW..you WILL get better.. I had gone online to look
for something and accidentally came across this site that
told what fruits and veggies did what for your body.. I was
amazed, I knew about carrots..but there are ALOT more!
There is a fruit or veggie for almost every thing you can
think of.. and cancer is one of quite a few... I myself think
that that's where the cure is too.. We have to go back to
the basics of life.. like the song says...

I got my angel food today, so I shall eat good this week.. It
had some chicken breast fillets that I fix with tomatoes and
onion, then simmer for a while.. its so good over rice. I think
I might go thru my moms recipes and do up a recipe book of
stuff that I KNOW is easy for someone like me to fix.. Not
a lot of mess and stuff to do to be able to cook it.. I have a
lot of those kind.. My mom cut down most of her recipes
when it was just her and my dad...which is plenty for me.. I
havent had company for dinner for a long time.. I miss that tho.
Ive been working on my book too.. I'm getting there. I go in
spurts and get in a writing mood...then other days I don't wanna
write anything, but I think a recipe book might be fun to do...

What I'm gonna do right now is end this, post it and get a snack
and play some solitare.. I might go thru my recipes too.. So until
I come back here tomorrow this GORGEOUS WEEBLE says
"nitey nite" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya, and THANKS!!!

~2 of My Favorites~

Two of my most favorite Aunt & Uncle's were my moms
brother and his wife, My Uncle Ernie and Aunt Gladys.
Wonderful people. Kind, caring, loving. They had 3 sons,
Dennis, Robert, and Richard. My Aunt was a beautician,
and me having such curly hair I only would let my Aunt
Gladys cut it.. She knew how to do it just right where I
always looked nice.. I was fussier back then than I am
NOW ! :-) My Uncle Ernie was a miner and worked at
one of the 3 or 4 in the area. Worked there all his life,
till he retired and they moved to Lower Michigan to be
by their oldest son...

Uncle Ernie, well, I think I was his favorite. He called me
Louise, which I really didn't like that but that's why he did
it ! To tease me.. Having 3 very energetic sons I think he liked
having a little girl around, specially one that was just as energetic
as his boys! :-) We had all gone skiing one Sunday afternoon and I
wasn't really good on skis.. I put my skis on and got all ready and
went to the top of the bunny hill.. I looked down it, but I still was
just NOT ready to go down , I knew Id probly fall and I hated
to make a spectacle of my self.. I heard a voice down at the
bottom yell to me saying "LOUISE!!! Come ON!." I saw it was my
Uncle and I just smiled and waved, looking like I really WAS
gonna try going down that hill...but I knew as soon as no one was
looking Id sneak off back to the lodge! :-)

I stood their for a few minutes more and all of a sudden I feel
2 arms around my waist and see 2 skis pull up along side mine and
the next thing you know I'm flying down that hill in front of my
Uncle.. I laughed and so did he and I bet we went up and down
that hill like that about 5 times.. We went back up to the top again
and I leaned forward to go down with my Uncle, next thing I knew
I felt his arms let go, saw his skis disappear and as I made a quick
glance backwards saw him standing there waving and laughing saying
"You can do it Louise!!!!".. and I did.. If it werent for him giving me
that little extra nudge, maybe Id still be on top that hill afraid to
try to go down it.

The reason I'm writing about my Aunt & Uncle is probly a strange
one, but I had a dream last nite. Very seldom do I remember my
dreams.. But this one, I was standing in my kitchen, I saw the door
open and my Uncle Ernie came through it all smiles and quickly
rushed up to me, and I wasn't in my chair.. I was standing.. He came
up to me, folded me in his arms, holding me tight and gave me the
biggest, warmest hug I can still feel it.. He pulled back just a bit
and said to me "Hi Louise, you can do it"... He squeezed me again,
kissed my cheek and I woke up. I can still feel the warmth of his
hug, and it makes me remember all those great hugs we all gave
each other. I don't know what this dream means. Last I had
heard my Aunt had passed on but my Uncle was still alive and
well..he was born in 1920. Hes 88. Id love to see him.. Whats sad,
is that he lives about 2 or so hours from me.. And Ive not seen
them in years...

Well I get my next net flix today so you know what I'm doing
after I post this.. Movie time ! I hate commercials when I'm
watching a show. I have got to be the worlds worst at changing
channels to avoid the commercials.. Then I forget what channel
I was watching and never make it back there :-) Dvd's are a
treat... My other treat is in the kitchen.. Yup DIBS today.. Ive
not had any all week.. and I get my angel food tomorrow so I
need to make some room in my freezer .. Well that's my story
and I'm sticking to it :-) Now my GORGEOUS WEEBLE
"Nitey Nite"... :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya, and THANKS!!!
