~HAPPY NEW YEAR~ :-)

A whole year has gone by.. in a few hours be starting

again..I start with a birthday.. now ..that can be good or

bad..Oh.. its on the 20th..I think is a Saturday..*HINT*

lol..I tell my self. 'great..start off with another year tacked

on to the number 'hangin over my head' lol.. but well means

ive gotten wiser before anyone else yes? they say as you

'AGE' you get wiser..lol..so.. hey.. the others born before

my 20th day..I will let them be wiser..but then its the 20ths

turn.. I'm an Aquarius too.. Ive read some descriptions of

us.. I get so mad sometimes.. well no not mad..but well

some describe me to a T..I cant describe me that well..I

change so much lol..

Well I think that's really what a new year is..when it starts

time to make the necessary changes and make sort of a

plan so to speak of what you hope is ahead..and then what

you hope ISNT..but may fear is.. but well there is not one

thing that's gonna change that's set to happen and there is no

way we can know..well you can set dates for things..like a

vacation..but there is no guarantee it will come about either..

For me.. I have to plan on what will happen when the 3 years

are up..that's my main concern..It has to be.. No bearing on

any other issues.. and what I do in these next 3 years I

will have to more or less do the prep for the next hopefully

20 or so I will have left.. lol..what? I could live to 100..anything

is possible specially now they want us to eat Cloned food?

I don't know..THAT sound scarey to me.. . lol..isnt that what

seeds are for? lol.. I shouldn't read MSN news sometimes

the stuff I read..the headlines I just sit and shake my head

at what I read.. Donnie yells cuz I don't keep up on the news..

well I have plenty of my very own Weeble Story Dramas lol

I feel for all the stuff going on ..but there isnt anything I can do..

all I can do is exactly like im doing.. The very best I can..and

just keep trying till my bunny runs out lol. I keep this re charger

fired up ..my bunny's gonna last a LONG time..

My sis phoned..bless her heart..they took a ride up to the UP

of MI..and while they were up in Munising..my sis had to go to

the ER..she has a raging ear infection.. She gets colds and

they go to her ears..She can hardly hear.. The kids play such

tricks on her all the time.. Cheryl was telling me something once

about her mother and I told her "shhh.mom's right behind you"..

she says."naaa ..she cant hear anything" was true my sis is

hard of hearing..said she has 2 hearing aids..drive her nuts cuz

they pick up EVERY sound..every sound out and around..and

she couldn't stand it.. she wore it to church..she said this lady

kept eating peppermints wrapped in this cellopane..and she

would very slowly and NOT quietly to Shirley, roll it up..she said

she had to pull that bloody thing out of her ear before she told

that lady what to do with those peppermints lolol knowing my

sis..well you think I'm bad? hehehe..she and I are a lot alike..

ask the utility or phone company where my sis lives lol. I think

they would probly vouch for us. :-) well.we just tell it like it is.. and

we do the best we can.. many many times..she told me..holding

my shoulder.. "LOIS...COME ON..you CAN do this.. COME ON!"

I can hear her..when I didn't and couldn't straighten out my stump

when it was amputated below the knee..or when the nurse was

here to change the dressing on my left stump when it was so badly

infected..and I was hysterical knowing the pain I was going to feel..

I can hear her. telling me.. encouraging me to DO IT, that I could..

This year and all the rest will be like this past one.. the ups and of

course the downs..lets hope the ups are higher and last longer..

than the downs. and if your butt aint heavy lol..well then the downs

wont last so long :-)..and IF when on those down times you

keep looking UP..well. your gonna go back up..have no fear..you will

all you gotta do..... you know my word.. lol.. TRY.. that's all.. TRY...

well I havent eaten all day..and Im going to TRY to find something

out in the kitchen to eat.. I could splurge and call Pizza Hut lol..

hmmm that does sound good..its only right down the road.. I wish

Applebees delivered..Id love some of those onion skins I call them ..

they are SO good.I better TRY to get some food..I think my bunny

needs refueled lol. Nitey Nite..

I did not one thing today .. All I did was take a nap..I guess

I was tired..:-)..I do this..and I have no idea why,,,,, I go in

snits of only a few hours of sleep at a time for days..up at

3 or 4 am..then up late..then its crash city and I go into a

sleep mode and just sleep for a couple days.. Its a mean

cycle..drives me nutz sometimes..I woke up once and

looked at the time..it was dark out..I wasn't sure if it was

morning or night..didn't know what day it was..I didn't

know nuthin.. I sat there for a while thinking "geez, I wish

I could forget who I was that easy", then tried to guess

everything..that's real fun.. I think its that Heimer guy,

keeps dancin with me....:-)

When Dawn was here last nite she noticed how much

has been done here..she laughs at my tales of what I

go through to do something .. shes so cute..and shes

another little tiny thing.. Shes about 10 years younger

than Donnie...but a real energetic person..that's why

they get along so good..hes very hyper..cant sit still for

very long..and to talk on the phone to Donald? well when

hes done talking its "ok, Iove you , Bye"..and hes gone...

THey have a lovely home on a lake about 10 miles from

me.. hes still working on that garage, wish I could help them

with it like they help me all the time..good kids..Im very

grateful they let me share their lives...Id be in big trouble

without them ill tell ya.. :-)

I almost fell today... came so close .scared me..just what I

was telling about the other day ..how I think my toilet is so

dangerous for me.. I have a riser ..which makes the seat even

with my chair.. its about 6 inches higher .. and white plastic

and you just lift the lid and seat and put this there in its place.

I went to slide across and my hand slipped off the chair, I said

just the other night my thumb is not holding, Im losing grip, Well
I almost went off the left side straight to the floor....as soon as

I felt my hand slip I tried to fall more backwards than to the

side..I made it..but hit my ribs on the side on the chair, then I

hit my head on the back where that bar thingie goes up

the side of the back.. I have to be totally aware when I go in

there.. I could have done a serious no no.. I'll be glad when

I get that rail that goes around it.. If I do hit the floor from that

height..I bet I would break something.. This is such fun.. things

that were nothing to do..like sitting on the potty.. now? well..

there is a HUGE difference.. but..well ya gotta figure out the

safest way .. or be in do do in more ways than ONE :-D..

I got a call from my friend Blue in AU..they are in summer down

there..and 16 hours ahead in time.. I was trying to figure out

when his New Years will be.. a day ahead.. I tell him all the time

how amazing it is that we can talk being as how we are not even

on the same day .lol.. He says there is a drought down there its

so hot.. He got an air conditioner for his room.. Im glad..I know I
cant take the heat and I worry about this summer..how will I be

able to breathe.. I cant take the heat at all just takes all my air.. I

had the AC on all summer at the apartment.. I think this little house

would be very easy to cool..If I put an AC in the window here in

the living room or bedroom this whole house would stay nice I think.

As small as it is, a window unit would work good.. I better start

saving now or I will be sweatin my patootie off.. There is a really

nice copper looking ceiling fan in the living room here, very nice,

I know that will help to cool this off...

I have done nothing but sleep since 11 am this morning ..got up at

almost 5..and am writing this post.. I havent eaten a thing since I

had that chili and burger from Wendys yesterday. Im hungry, and I
have NO idea what I feel like eating. I guess its that verse..."Seek

and ye shall find" :-) with all the goodies I have out there I have NO

doubt I shall find Something..as long as its not chair shrinkage stuff

im ok.. I'll give the boys a treat and they will be happy..They sure

drink a lot of water I notice..I bet I fill their bowl twice a day.. I was

on voice with a friend, LB came up to me - just whined and whined

they could hear him.. he does sound like he says "mom, mom" !!

I know a talking cat.. I told ya..we are a strange bunch hangin from

this tree here lol...Time to seek..I KNOW I'll find.. Nitey nite.. :-)

~Gift Exchange~

Dawn came by today and picked up their Christmas gifts.

She surprised me when she walked in. I didn't know she was

coming, lol. Donald was supposed to call and tell me..well of

course he forgot. Men..lol..He is doing a side job this week so

he really cant get away..Dawn opened her gift and loved the

Kincaid teapot.was so cute..had Blueberry tea in it..Now..that

I wont vouch for..I like Earl Gray myself.lol.but she really liked it.

Donnie called later on after he got home and opened his..he

really liked the utensil set..all in one box..easy to find what ever

he needs to use with a grill..or in the house for that matter. I

hate digging through a drawer full of loose things like ladels..

and pancake turners etc..hmmm that's an idea..lol..He will put

it to good use..Im glad he liked it..He said he had Dawn hide

half of the fudge or he would eat it all.. which I knew that..lol...

Dawn came bearing a gift for me, which is REALLY neat! I

didn't know they had these.. Its like a chair cushion back and

the seat. There is heat,, and massage.. its electric.. THIS IS
GREAT!!! there is like a remote control that you can put the

heat or massage at different levels..THIS is SO GOOD!!! I

had to potty afterward..not that the thought of the cushion made

me lol..but.. I was thinking..I get in a hurry sometimes..and wait

maybe a drip too long you know? or I run into the wall and when

that happens and you REALLY HAVE to go..well. I am NOT going

into real details here..I know at some time in anyones life this has

happened, they say no ..they fib!!! anyway..I was thinking IF this

happened while I was plugged in? well the cushion.. my question:

Would I ELECTROCUTE myself? LOL.. I thought about that site

hair standing straight out sparks flying and me totally zapped lol..

that would be a hell of a buzz lol.. I told Donnie this we laughed

so hard lol.. It is funny lol.but well I need to think seriously about

this before I plug that thing in and sit on it ya know :-D

Penny came today and bless her heart painted the top of the

door frame..shes coming tomorrow for a while to fill in the time

she missed..and offered to paint the other door facing of the

bedroom for me.. maybe she can reach the top cabinets..She

was amazed at what I had managed to paint! lol..asked "HOW

did you do that?" ..well shes getting to know me..that I cant just

sit and look at something that needs done if there is any way

that I can figure out how to do it lol..this livingroom is going to

be the challenge..specially the ceiling. I really may not be able

to do it..but if I can figure out a way to I may try it. :-D..

I splurged today and got Wendys..well Penny went and got it..

Got a classic..chili and fries.. I dunk my fries in the chili..some

restaurants now are serving chili fries..just like the cheese ones..

or like mine..gravy . Wendys has the best fast food French fries

of all of them. Ive tried them all..The King and McD's fries have

gotten so salty I wont get them anymore..ive even called and told

them about it..does no good..I don't like a lot of salt..and I had

thought they were only sposed to use so much but I don't know

for sure..I know too much tho..I am not a salt adder person.. I

use it you have to..but some people like salty..like those salt

and vinegar chips..wow..those will make my mouth just pucker

right up ..Penny got a sandwich too..I forget what kind..She is so

tiny, no bigger than a minute..she is Irish..but you can tell by

looking at her ..they would say shes a "Wee Lassie" :-)

Was a nice day today no mishaps at all..Penny has been shining

up my brass pieces..I have a really old huge tool looking thing

from a brass company that my ex's grandfather worked at I think..

its really heavy.. I wonder if brass is valuable? I love how shiney

my things look.brass is so pretty..I tried to polish some yesterday

and had to quit..my hand just gave out..and my thumb totally

refused to hold anything..so I had to stop..she finished that tool

thing ..looks wonderful now..and a pan that was on the desk..Looks

so nice with all of them shiney..the candle holders etc..

There is some chili left..and its still kinda early..so I can eat yet..I

don't like to eat real late that can cause nite calls too lol..I just love

it.. I used to be able to walk to the bathroom and not even open

my eyes.. I have to now cuz I run into stuff even with them OPEN!

and just the turn turn turn..back up.. lift..back..pull ....back.. THEN

I am in my chair..its alot..then the same thing ..except I have to be

awake to get on the potty this one is not safe..I found that out

already..the riser is white plastic and its slippery..there is nothing

on either side..just the tub on the right which is a good 8 inches

lower ..If I fell over that way I would hit my ribs..then the floor.. I

don't think that would stop me from hitting the floor..if I slipped to

the left..well its direct hit to the floor.. its not safe and I DO HAVE

to be very careful ..which I am ..which wakes me up if I have to

make a call during the night ..How things change..I wish I could

even just roll with my eyes closed so I don't wake up..but I cant..I

never know what the cats have drug out that is in the way and I

have to clear a path..and if Dutch is in his escort mode he will

walk ..at HIS PACE, directly in front of me going side to side as

if to let me know I am to follow HIM..lol. Im telling you I have two

strange kids lol.. He will deliberately do this if he sees i am in

a hurry and the whole time i am yelling at him "MOVE!" If I

tap my rings on the silver wheel its like a horn and they know

they better move..they found THAT out the hard way. lol..

Anyway..Im tired..and hungry Im gonna try to watch tv..Hell last

nite I laid down and fell asleep before I could pull the covers up

now that's TIRED!! lol..I woke up about 2 really cold ..well ya..

covers were still at the bottom of the bed.. lol I laid down before

I pulled them up..usually I get my pillows set..then sit back up.

then pull the covers up..we all have a routine :-) well I didn't make

it back up after the pillow set up lol. I honestly really cant

remember the last time I saw anything..ohh ya ..cops..that

was Saturday lol.well some TV for me tonite..I hope..but then

again..im tired. Nitey Nite.. :-)

~This is A TEST~

This is a test..

Now..Look at that picture up there closely....Please to

notice..all of it..Ok..do NOT notice its a bit out of focus..

:-) just look at it..then look at the next one - - - do you see

anything different in the two? hmmm..I HOPE you do I worked

hard here today !! lol..besides the fact Dutch is not in it..:-)

do you notice anything? well I painted today!! I got so sick

of looking at that door facing, all crappy lookin..It drove me

nuts!! I was sitting here this morning and decided that I

was just going to paint it and get this place looking better..

Doesn't that look 100 times better? I think it does..

I just cant reach the high up and I bet I get that drippy roller out

with the long handle I could do it. the hard part will be to get the paint

out of that huge can..into a smaller..I will have to dip it into something

else like I did last time which caused problems, there is only about

a foot more that I cant reach..I will truthfully admit spilt some , and well

it drips a lot ..every where.. You can see the white on the walls by the

chair..its not a lot that needs painted the yellow, and the ceiling needs

painted too..all of it would NOT take long. I painted the lower doors

under the sink too.THAT makes a big difference.. Just small touch ups

makes it look so nice.. so ok. see the hands..first the left..

Notice the fingers a little :-) on them- a bit...ok...a lot..now..see

the sweater? I got it on that too..Well.. I am not the best painter in

the world..but hey..Somebodys gotta do it.. I cant keep asking

Donnie hes got his own home to take care of..so does every

one..I can paint im just sloppy and I have to clean up the mess

I make but Im pleased with my door facing..Sure makes a big

difference. and I did it my own self :-)

I got it on the right one as well.. This hand..look closely is not

doing good.. My thumb base..see the callous? there are 3.. look

at this other photo..there really are 5 spots that go from the base

to the first knuckle..all have ugly calluses on them..These bottom

three do not look good and have only shown up since I moved in

here and I have to fight this floor..

All toll there are 5..the dark spots on the knuckles are the

same thing.. this main one is the one I am worried about.. I

am afraid I will have to go to the Dr. it does not look good at

all..and this is nothing to what it REALLY looks like the focus

is out.. My thumb hardly works.I have carpal tunnel very bad

In fact the dr..suggested surgery to repair;;but I cant do that I

would be bed bound almost I would not be able to transfer..
well I could one hand I guess..others do it..But this thumb is

not holding..It has let me down quite a few times..

As you see .. I am telling on my self..oh well.. see the paint on my

brake extender? I got it there.. on the outer wheel and the black

inner one. .On the floor..a few spots.. ok ok..quite a few spots..I

got it on the wall..where it was nt sposta be.. on the blue :-) I

have blue to cover be ok.. and .. I got some on LB..wel l he went

past as I was going to paint the bottom cabinet..and it dripped

on him..He got so mad..I tried to hold him down ..bent in half now.

locked down of course..and trying to wipe off this huge cat that
HATES hands on him.. Well I made him TOTALLY pissy..he

actually growled at me lol. I got the paint off .. I held him down hard..

and said VERY deeply "JUST STOP IT ...YOU are Getting it

OFF" he just glared at me..but he stayed put..He KNEW he had

me made ME mad..he knows who the HEAD CAT is around here

THAT BE ME!! :-)

I had the nicest surprise..why Im late I had to tell someone so I

bugged a friend of mine and we talked for a while ..well he had

been gone for ever it seemed!!! I was so glad he was back.. I

really miss my friends and I honestly worry when I don't hear and

lose touch..anyway. I got a call from the Commercial News here

(newspaper) and they said a lady had dropped off some food and

a gift for me!!! How SWEET is THAT??? The newspaper lady

delivered the red bag and there were delicious cookies..and

apple slices..and THE MOST BEAUTIFUL .. matching..Pink..

Mauve..and white Striped .Hat.. Scarf and GLOVES!!! well..my

first trip out..I know what im going to wear .. and where

I am going....be kinda nice.. I will make a day of it..go to Home

Depot..then to Chartrand Construction..and then treat my self to

some delicious food at the Oasis..it is SO nice there..and plenty

of room for wheelchairs..the service? well its the best Ive had any

where even in the very best of places..Super place..now THAT

would be a great day hey? Maybe take Raelynn with me..she liked

that restaurant..and she brought me that nice GOOD dinner.. I need

to make plans..I will call the paper and tell them.they can do a follow

up and get more publicity for the two super places that helped me..

THAT would be good for them. and make ME feel good I know.

How wonderful is this? I was almost speechless when they called

and told me..and then delivered this..I am just so pleased..that is so

nice that this lady..Bev..did this.. what a nice thing to do.. I am just..

just. well. so very grateful.. She gave me her email and I will write to

her as soon as I finish this..and I want to write out a thank you to Mr.

Chartrand and Home Depot..but I need some black ink for my 3 in 1

printer. I ran it out of ink printing my stories out ..that stuff is so

expensive!I called Meijers to see if they have the kind my HP takes..

they do..over 20.oo for one of those ink thingies.. I read where

Walgreens refils them.. and that I could get a refil kit. I don't think I

could do it.. I cant paint a wall for Petes sake..I could put INK into a

small container with a injector needle ? hmmm I dunno.. I was so

leary of that paint bucket to day was pitiful.. I ran into it once and
all I could see was a totally white floor and me striped.. not strip..
stripEd lol..Anyway. I am just happy.. I got mad about the numbers
thing. I did I felt really used. but.well. that don't over ride the good
stuff I have..his loss, he has NO idea what hes missin.. besides who
wants to start training a 52 year OLD baby at my OLD age.. lol.. I
like old I like young.BUT - I LOVE it all.. specially my bed tonite.
Im tired.I got up at 330 again..I just woke up.like an alarm..been up
all day.I think my bunny is running on slow about now though. as
slow as I roll on this stinkin carpet I should have started there 4
hours ago lol..my bunnys fadin.. Nitey Nite..

Well today is almost over. I cant believe I have been up

since 330 or so this morning.. I am going to post this earlier

as Dawn and Donnie are due to come over any time..so its

a matter of posting early or late..and I was late last nite I think ..

lol.. was a pretty good day today. Raelynn stopped by on the

way to taking her client to therapy over here at the health trak

that's about a block away.. She picked up the plate and bowl

that she brought over Christmas dinner on. Was good to sit

and visit with her again.. Needless to say the boys were all

over her..sniffin her kitties..she has 5 at her house.. they

remember her and miss her I think..they were both hiding under

my bed when she got here because they are terrified of the

beast..as I call the huge black vacuum cleaner I have..its so

noisy and when Penny uses it they hide..lol. scaredy cats.. :-)

Penny did a great job today polishing up the few brass pieces

I have. They just shine..and look wonderful she did the holders

over on the desk with the candles in under the pictures ..its so

sparkly and warm in here..all these wonderful brass things

against the burgundy lamps and curtains.. its amazing how the

pale yellow walls accent it.. The mirror over by the couch is very

bare..I would like to find a lovely brass and burgundy flower

swag or maybe some more smaller mirrors around the bigger

one. I love the look mirrors give..make a room look bigger. I

still have NO idea what happened to my big mirror that one

would have really been better..The mirror was my mothers and

its a beveled edge..very heavy..it may have been left behind.. I

asked Chris but he said nothing had been left..I guess it had legs

and walked away lol..

I balanced my checkbook today after only 3 calls to the bank..I

know those poor girls over there are just so tired of me.lol.. I just

could NOT get it to balance and it was driving me nuts as to what

I was missing..well I wasn't missing anything.. I just needed to do

another subtraction I had done wrong DUH.Its balanced.barely lol

but its not overdrawn which is a major worry.. they charge 35.oo

at my bank if you have an overdraft..can you believe it? I try

never to do that..and I can honestly say all the years ive had a

check book I have never "hung Wallpaper" as they say or wrote

a bad check.. I know how fast they clear a bank..I worked at a

bank clearing house so I know what happens after hours for a

bank.. LOTS..lol..and you have over night to get the funds into

an account..not 3 days like years ago..24 hrs. is all..;-)

I don't know if I am glad to see a new year..in a way..but then again

I am.. means in 20 days after the first I will be another year older..

I had a run in with a guy..said our age difference mattered as to

whether or not I would be considered for a relationship with him

I am 9 yrs older. I wont bother to tell you what I said.. lol but if

you know me at all.. I bet you can hear his ears ringing from where

you are lol.. I did get a tad upset..just a tad mind you :-) you do

believe that yes? lol.. age matters. what a crock.. all age is are

one, two or three- numbers put together- is it a rule that 2 people

have to be the same age to get along? I beg to differ.. I get along

with young..old in between. I guess cuz I only see the person.not a

number hung above their head giving their age..Numbers don't
matter to me at all. and in a good relationship the only numbers
that matter should be the ones that you are honest and faithful
and true to each other and yourself..that's MY opinion on it
anyway.. :-) You KNEW I would have one :-D

Well the kids are here..and so is Jerky . ohoh I forgot the dog..oh
well he can go out and eat all the cat food lol.he loves to do that..
They will be so surprised to see all the goodies here for them. lol..
I gave over half to them. but they have to share with Kelli and
Jorge..I KNOW Donnie will lol. maybe.. so time to sign off for now
until tomorrow same weeble time same weeble channel..

~I Did it to Me AGAIN~

My son was bad today.. I got a big box delivered that had

Donnies Christmas gift in it.. See the boy ? look how pitiful

he looks lol.ya..he looks so innocent doesn't he...It was

my own fault as soon as I rolled away from the couch I knew

he was going to try something..and I should have THEN

moved the box and then nothing would have happened and

I wouldn't have spent the better part of a hour cleaning up all

the mess.. lol.. I do this to my own self I must LOVE making

problems for my self THEN fixing them - I must. .I KEEP on

doing it all the time..

The box fell off the couch right over on its top on the floor..so you

see when I tip the box up..to put it back ..even more will come

out of it.. and as you see my son does NOT help..LB just

sat up in the chair and you could just SEE the look of " I

cant believe what this kid does" did a few circles and laid back

down and went to sleep. lol. hes such a Garfield..

Dutch just looks at it.. does not ONE thing..just see? puts his

head down like "ohoh..now I MIGHT be in trouble".. No.. I

couldn't yell or do nothing but pick every single one of them up.

Which folded in half trying to reach the floor is just not easy..
If my arms were longer maybe, Ive said that before though..If

my arms were just a tad longer... I could reach a lot easier. :-)

that small case came in that big box with all those peanuts,

well those little white pieces of foam..they are almost like

they are alive..full of static and they seem to just move

on their own.. I think my chair makes static or something,

seems like when I get close they move out of the way lol..

then I have to chase them down ! that's why it takes so long to

pick them up..I have to run after them :-)

I got them all up and put the box DOWN.. I did not put it up

anywhere he could get into it .. He did..try to help..but sadly

he is not the best helper in the world..poor little thing.. :-)

between these 2 cats and myself.. no wonder I stay tired just

picking up after us! I kept hoping someone would come by

but I didn't see anyone today.. well the lunch lady..and it was

a pretty good lunch today..Barbecue beef with some pork

and beans..and yes.. CARROTS in with peas... :-) you KNOW

I ate every single one yes? lol.. NOT... ;-)

I woke up at 3 am this morning and I was so tired all day.. My

arms are just wore out.. I almost dread having to roll on this carpet.

If I get up during the night to potty..well that's what wakes me up

totally is just because I have to work so hard to get across the

room. I can see how every day its harder and harder, I don't move

around in here as much just to avoid having to fight the floor.. :-)

My hand has not improved at all, one spot doesn't look good its

so red, I either have to find another way to roll this chair or get a

glove.. and THAT would really be a pain in the butt..well hand lol..

I had lunch but im gonna eat a few of those cookies out there..The

kids didn't come over but I know they had a lot to do being gone

right after their Christmas here so..I know they had lots to do.. they

can come over tomorrow and get their goodies..IF there are any

left! trust me. I will NOT eat them all.not that I havent tried lol no.

there are 4 different kinds of fudge! not counting at least 8 different

kinds of cookies.lol. theres lots..so..plenty for all of us..Im glad..or

they wouldn't get any LOL..well.. I see them..I eat them.. plain and

simple.. and that's just what I plan to do.. nitey nite :-)

~A Nice Christmas~

Merry Christmas..I hope Santa was good to you.. I had a day of nice surprises..that I wasn't expecting and Im glad.. I was sitting here and there was a knock at the door and it was Raelynn. Was so nice to see her again..She came bearing gifties for the boys..Some special cat food and a nice toy they both seemed to like.. Of course they were all over her they hadnt seen her for a long time and were very happy and just smelled and sniffed all over her..lol..She picked up the cake pan she had brought the cake in quite a while back.Said they were having a lot of company today..Raelynn and Dolly, her sister are both good cooks so I know their house is smellin good. She came by again about 5 with dinner..I was so hungry then too..THAT was REAL good.. The boys and I were pleased..:-) My 2nd surprise was my sister and Stanley stopping by..She came bearing fudge and cookies..oh and peanut brittle..that sadly I cant eat..not with out these bottom teeth lol She also brought some dish cloths she knitted for everyone..She sat at night for months now knitting and making scrubbie balls out of netting ..hmmm I didn't get a chore ball..well..and she forgot that leopard silk lounger she said I could have too~!~ She needs to make a list like I do..but then I lose my list lol..I bet I make up about 4 or 5 grocery lists by the time Penny gets ready to go..I keep forgetting where I put them lol.. I am well stocked Up on goodies..as far as deserts. Im most grateful I have gotten this.. I got up at 430..I think I heard Santa and I just got wide awake I got so excited lol.. :-) you believe that yes? :-) I do that..I will lay there and suddenly realize Im awake..and then I lay and listen to the sounds..see if I can hear the gong of the chime clock my dear friend sent me..Its being a stinker.. sometimes out of the clear blue it will start to work.I hear this loud tick tick tick..and shes runnin ..then days later I notice..hmm I don't hear the clock..I keep a clock in every room..yes..even the bathroom ..What? don't you ever wonder how long your in there ? lol..I just have a time thing I guess.. I saw a clock in a catalog I would love to have..it projects the time on the ceiling.. now how cool is that? I think Id like that..just lay there and look up. Now I have to squint and see if I can see the time on my cable box over in the corner ontop my TV! lol.. I wish my bedroom had more outlets..only 1 can U imagine? just one? and NO phone jack. I am going to see about running one in there..Donnie said there is a lot of phone cable down in the basement so maybe one day he can run a phone in there.. I forget to take my cordless in there at night sometimes.. I get all the way in there ,,, up to the bed..then say RATZ I forgot the phone..and I am NOT going to fight this carpet and go all the way back in here to the desk to get it..someone calls during the night on those forgetful days ..well will just have to wait till I drag my butt to the chair..then to the phone then fight the carpet..then answer! see? easy.lol.. I did take a small nap today.. I just seemed to have no choice..for some reason I got really tired today about 3 and I had to put my head down for a few..like my mom would say "take a five dear" which is just what I did..I grabbed a pillow off the couch, pulled up to the desk and leaned forward and took a little fiver lol..didn't sleep very long..but I felt better when I woke up, now I will be up till the cows come home tomorrow lol.. I hope not! lol.. Well was a very nice Christmas..even though I was here by myself with the boys.. I had that company and I got some great phone calls from a few friends that made my day special too..I had a good day. Now it will be even a tad better..Im getting a piece of fudge and gonna scoot this GORGEOUS weeble over to that bed..but first say Nitey Nite and Merry Christmas.. this doesn't look like a Christmas Eve day does it? Was

really a nice day..I am kinda glad..I think of all those that

are travelling to see their families and loved ones..So this

good weather will help.. I just like snow on Christmas..and

who knows..maybe tomorrow it will a little just for the ones

crazy enough to miss it lol..I don't want bad weather for the

ones travelling tho..like Kelli and Donnie, my sister and

niece..all will be on the road..My sister is going up North I

think tomorrow..She will have all her children there tonite..

All will be there, her 4, 3 of the spouses and 14 of the grands.

2 of the great grands.. She will have a house full ..but shes

so excited this year..she really is..

Shirley just re did all of her kitchen and livingroom..Shes so

axious to use all her new things..She says its just the kitchen

shes always wanted..cost her a lot..but well.. its worth it if its

something you really enjoy..and my sis is like me..shes a good,

no..great cook..Usually she will buy the items for her dinner from

a local special market she goes to..Excellent food..MMM that's

what shes done for past Christmas Eve dinners.. She has her

Christmas on Christmas Eve..the kids all come and they all go

to the candlelight service in one big group..Stan loves to lead

his family in there..Well this year Shirley is making all her goodies

pies ..deserts..cookies. Of course 2 of the kids will help and

bring things as well.. Most of the grands are older now..the 15,

16, 17 age group..and you know how they can eat lol.. I think

she got one of those Heavenly Hams that are the best in the

world I think lol very good..


When they get back its soup's on ..then time for the gifts..and

wow..its like people and paper everywhere lol..its fun..the last

time I went was in 2000.. Ive not been able to go since..Stan

would come and get me if I could go..but Shirley couldn't hardly

acess her house when she was in that chair when she broke her

leg..I still cant get to the potty there..I wonder how she did? Hop

into the bathroom? hmm I cannot picture my sister hopping.. I

guess maybe Stanley carried her, but I cant picture that either lol.

I don't know..Anyway..A great time is had by all..

Im still learning my digital camera.. its so nice..My cam just seems

to not want to focus anymore and I have NO idea what I am doing

wrong.. I have been taking them in a bigger size..maybe that's it..

I have no idea im not real good at this stuff..It will be nice when I do

learn it- I will..just been hetic these few days..and If I tried to read

the instructions on it..well it wouldn't sink in..I know when my brain

is receptive to new stuff..thankfully it still is off and on. only now it

seems to let me know when it is lol.

Did not have any major surprises and no major reminders today.

I did get a call from Blue to wish me a merry merry..hes so sweet..

I got some wonderful photos and cards too..I enjoy reading what

my friends have done the past year..I like knowing..keeps them

close..and I feel a part of their lives..I enjoy that..and too Im so

nosey..saves them from telling me all that stuff lol.. :-) I woke at

7 this morning to find LB in his favorite spot all in a ball..he loves

laying between my stumps..he always has lain there since he

was a baby.. Dutch? well I looked down and the boy was laying

totally across my chest from one side to the other just snorin!

he was just cuttin em..and looked so comfy..I mean he was allllll

the way from one side to the other.. was cute.. wish I had a pic

of him..that's where he likes to lay tho..up close ..lots of times

hes up under my chin..lol.. my boys love me..what can I say? well

I love them too !!! :-) I would be so very very lonesome with out

them here ..

Well these 2 boys..and this GORGEOUS weeble are getting a

few cookies and going to watch TV..I didn't get to see but the

cops turn the siren on..it was lights out for me..on the TV show

COPS..lol.. *Merry Christmas* I hope Santa is good to you and

you find all kinds of goodies in your stockings.. :-) Nitey Nite..

I'll be by myself this Christmas..but now..don't go feeling

bad that I will be here alone..well the boys will be here..lol..

Guess what I do have here.. :-) Penny brought me 6 kinds

of cookies..at least 2 dozen..24 of each.. 2 loaves of bread..

banana and date..and 3 kinds of fudge..at least 15 pieces

of each kind. Peanut butter, pecan and chocolate.. and MMM

it is SO good.. ive tasted it all. So I will bury my aloneness

in my cookies..and breads and fudge.. lol. I will be fine :-)

I have gotten some wonderful cards..and some of the nicest

gifties in the mail.. and my pay pal button was used! first time..

This is a great Christmas..really.. Im happy..I have spent the

last 4 Christmases alone..but not really.. Blue is already on

Christmas Eve..hes 16 hours ahead of Michigan.. I hope he

asks Santa what else hes bringin me lol..So I know he will

be phoning, like he said, and I know some others will also..but

I do want to say thanks for all the kind words.. encouragement..

the updates on your familys.. makes me feel a part of it.. I

enjoy. no I LOVE knowing who reads this..and what you think

and am I doing good, bad or other wise, and I love when you

Had big doings here today tho..even being a holiday .. the words

are.. "WHAT NOW LOIS???" lol.. well I don't know who..I would

say Ken,, when he left last nite..he didn't shut the porch door..
During the night the wind has increased..about 4 am the boys

both start to meow..and LB comes and nudges me.. which he

only does that if its something he feels needs attention..and Dutch

hes sitting in the door way all wide eyed and scared ..looking at the

door! I said "ohoh" cats are good watch dogs you know. So I listen

hear bang ..wind.. bang.. wind. I open the door.well unlock it first. I

stay locked all the time. peek out.. its so daylight over here from

that garage and there is the door swinging..back and forth. .

not a thing I could do.. early morning reminder :-(

If I had gone out.. I would have had to leave this inside door open,

the boys would have gotten out.. so I had to leave it.. The draft

around this inside door was awful the metal outside wheel was

freezing cold..I noticed that when I got in my chair.. It was 4am..

like Im gonna call someone then say "HEY, come close my door"

talk about a daily reminder hey? I waited until 9 and I called

Penny to see If she was coming over but she didn't call me back

till about 1..about 11 ...Becky called said.."im coming to town

and will drop off some cat food for you, by the way your front

door was open this morning when I went by"..she lives in

the town I was in at the shelter so to go to the big Meijers she

had to go past my house. She said she wasn't sure if someone

was here or not so she didn't stop then..On her way back she

did stop..we had a nice visit ..shes very new on the computer..

she knows basics..and wants to learn more.. She just retired and

is really enjoying not having to work..she has a grand niece

named Lilly, shes 4 and Becky just loves this child.. was her

birthday just the other day.. She checked my mail and of course

the boys were all over her.. LB laid by her side the whole time

so she could rub him.. they really like her..and she likes them

she says shes never seen such socialble cats..

Becky left..and Penny called and came over bearing the breads

and delicious fudge..she put 2 nails up top of each side of the

door.. when she left I took my blanket and used my grabber to

put the blanket up on the nails to cover the draft from the door.

its really helped.. Penny said she could see light through the

side and top. It got almost instantly warmer when I put the

blankets.. well no.. not blankets..I call them my woolbies..they

are coverlets.. like blankets..made of polar fleece..very very

warm and so light weight you cant even feel it on you..I love it

every year my sis makes me a couple ..she knows I love them..

If you don't have a polar fleece woolbie..get one..theyre really

warm and so soft.. almost like velvet..and light and airy kinda

no weight to them at all. I love mine.. I told my sis I need new

they are worn out. I don't think that material ever wears out

though lol.

So you see..daily reminder.. I did try to put a nail in by the door

but no..I just could not do it..that wood was just too hard.. I hope

it isnt very long till I get the new door.. ill have to start reminding

people when they leave to make sure that porch door is closed

tight.. I am going to see about putting some plastic up over the

screen on the porch and over the bottom of the door, the glass

is gone..half is screen. that will make a big difference too..then

if they really did order the new windows- should be snug in here..

I asked Chris if he had received any rent payments.I feel bad..

hes not gotten one yet.. he was informed it had gone through

but still not heard or seen a check..month 3 is starting..well 2

but a month ahead... 2 months ive been in here..and I should

be ashamed for not having this place done. Im just lazy lol. no.

its just not EASY for a GORGEOUS weeble.

So another exciting day at Weebleville lol.. Im hunkered down

got me all covered and locked and boarded up..got cookies

and soda..and fudge and 2 cats to torment me lol..hey..Im

good to go..I can last till Tuesday when I should see life forms

again lol.. someone will beam in ..Im ready to beam to my bed.

~Now WHAT???~

Only 2 days to Christmas. Makes me remember the ones from when
I was young, the family all gathering at each others homes..There
were most of my mothers family her sisters, Lillian and Phyllis, and
her brothers, Stanley, Ernie, Gordon, she had 2 others, Telfer and
David they lived in another state..But My Grandfathers brother
Stanley lived in the same town.He had 4 children that had children.
we were quite a large crowd.. the 5 of my mothers, all had stanley
had 3, ernie had 3 gordon had 5, phyllis had 5 and lillian had 2.
many many in our family.. Our get togethers were massive.. lol..
From Thanksgiving to after New Years, the week ends we steady
went somewhere or some were coming to our house..The women
all planned it out.. but it was a wonderful time.

We belonged to the Methodist Church then and I sang in the
choir of course ..alto..I automatically hear harmony when I
listen to music I still do even though I couldnt carry a tune
now in a bucket .. :-) My voice has changed..alot..I have NO
idea why.. its gotten very deep.. many many people .. and I get
SO mad.. when I talk to someone on the phone..they hear the
deep voice and automatically assume I am a man and call me
sir.. I get really upset..They ASSUME..I tell them NEVER call
a person Sir or Mam, until you KNOW .. they apologize, but
still thats right! I cant help my voice is that deep..its a strain
for me to raise it. I dont know whats happened to it. lol. I
guess that hysterectomy I had 30 years ago is doing this.
changing me or something hell if I know..but sure makes me
mad to be called SIR.. lol.. well.. it does.. they should NOT
do that.. anyway..I'm a GORGEOUS weeble lol.. :-)

BIG DEAL today.. lol. aint everyday though? sheesh the joys
of daily life of just LIVING lol.. no ones fault really tho.. Penny
came today and by the way brought my cookies ... I dont have
to tell you how GOOD they are do i? lol.. TRUST ME... they
are VERY GOOD...she brought 6 different kinds..everyone is
delicious..Well she worked her butt off today.. no we did some
unpacking and she did the usual stuff.. when she got ready to
go she set some things out on the porch..then came back in
to finish up..she went to close the door..and the door would
NOT close.. It stayed open at least a good 6 inches or more..
I couldnt believe it.. My first thought is NOW WHAT ELSE??

She slammed the door quite a few times..thinking well maybe
just sticking rained all day and really humid.. finally i had her
stop, I was afraid the mirror was gonna fall off the wall..well
she went and got some quilts and draped over the door to stop
the cold air from coming in.. I got on the phone..called Chris..
got his answering machine.. and left a dramatic emergency
call about the door..this was NOT a good thing..

Well I called Donnie..he was on his way home from work, he got
off at noon today and tomorrow hes going to go to Wisconsin. be
back tuesday.. he said he would stop by his house pick up what
he thought he would need..drill etc..and be right over.. Well soon
as I hung up Chris called..said he would be over in 10 minutes..I
called Donnie back and told him was ok..and to go home , :-) he
would have come, glad he didnt, he wanted some time with Dawn
before he set off for a long week end at his parents .. :-)
In 15 , 2 trucks showed up..Chris and his brother Ken, hes the
maintence man.. he worked on the door for about 45 minutes
and finally got it to work.. Chris said he ordered 3 new windows
for me..

Chris left and Ken stayed for a while.. he must be in his late 20's
maybe..not very old.. nice nice guy..and cute too..like Chris.. hes
32 or so .. not sure..young too.. well he made sure it was working
good and hung my mirror back up..I had Chris take it down just
to be safe..Lord..that thing fall big as it is Id have bad luck even
in my grave for petes sake lol.. :-).. well its huge ! its in the
photos.. we chatted for quite a while..and I told him about the
blog..and I even told him about my 2 worlds.. He listened very
carefully , asked questions.. and the whole time sat there, I
could see a like 'hmmm' look and he would rub his chin with
his finger while his it rested in his palm..like he was really
thinking.. well I explained and we chatted and he said he only
lives 2 blocks away and promised if I need any help or the door
gives me any problems..to call. and be assured I will..lol..Chris
said the same thing..that he would be around too if something
else happened or I needed something..thats really good to
know specially with Donnie being gone..

This is what I mean.. I feel sometimes very vulnerable.. and
I dont like that feeling..I have never felt that way before the
loss of my legs.. I didnt worry I had a way to really move..well
I can move now..but not go the same way.. lol.. I have a friend
told me about a German Shepherd dog..2 yrs old..for sale.. its
quite expensive for me... 350.oo.. but I get to thinking..I may
be should get a big dog..protection..help..etc.. but I just couldnt
let it out.. it would just be too hard.. If I could get out back to
the back yard..on a deck or what ever so I could watch while
it was outside and the yard was fenced..this one is only partly..
I do miss having one.. I do know when someone is by the door
or close..the cats will look and go to the door..if its someone
that they arent sure of..they run..if its someone like Penny
they will sit and wait at the door for her to come in..she has
to speak to them first..then me..lol.. Cats may not alert you
by sound..but if you watch them they will talk to you and tell
you things..cats are not stupid..people just never really train
them like a dog..ive seen some trained cats ..amazing what they
did..they are smart...and training a puppy? oh no no..I just
could NOT handle that.. I have enough with THAT !! training
my self NO TEA after 8 ! :-)

Well I have some great cookies out in that kitchen and I think
its time to test them all out a 2nd time..I told Dawn I had
them so..they dont come get em..well gee .. ;-) "guess I will
just have to SUFFER and eat them all my self"Lois oinked LOL..

I wrote a post..published it and the whole thing just went..well I
have no idea what I did..first time it happened tho.. Ive been having
trouble with my email program and its just not running right.. I
have NO idea what it is.. I even did a system restore to try to fix
the problem with it..I am hoping its fixed..but by what I had to
delete I wrote that in Jibberish.. I have NO idea why the font
would totally change part of the way through, well that wont work.
this will tell you no no no do it right or no posting.. This is not easy
for me..and every time I log on now they got out of Beta or what
ever that means and are into something else..well I dont like to
switch what is barely working to something I have to figure out
all over again..Why you think I dont go over to Bravenet and fix
my 2 stories over there? at least make the page more presentable
its so plain and drab.. I have NO idea what im doing there..Ive
tried it. I had a website..well 4 pages on AOL at one time and I
had fun with those..I changed stuff all the time ..and it was easy.
This blog stuff isnt for someone that doesnt understand what html
and those marks like the arrows I had better not put in this stuff
or I get a red note up top says "naaa, you cant do that" ..I hate
when that happens..

I took some photos of my boy today I couldnt help it.. Hes been in
a mood latey .. kinda mopey.. Ive been trying to play more with
him and Penny does alot..but he just seems sad..Hes been fighting
with LB alot..yet theyre playing too. I dont know ..do cats get
depressed? and WHAT would he have to be depressed about? I
do belived they have feelings tho.. When he makes me really yell
at him he goes running off squeakin..he doesnt know how to meow.
now LB? he CAN meow. lol Dutch never has..well not often and
when he does Im surprised.. I thought these were cute tho..He
just looks like "awww mom..Im really a good kid".. lol and he is.
he just has his moments..You can really see my BUTTERFLY..
now you know I really DO have one lol..there is proof again. :-)
Its almost a perfect one isnt it? unusual and not common :-)

Was a rainy icky day. I read in the news there was a winter
storm, bad one, in Colorado... well 3 guesses where that puppy
is headed? how much you wanna bet we get some snow? I hate
to say this..but.. well it has to have SNOW on Christmas.. thats
the rules.. One of the reasons I didnt like Texas..I missed the
snow, I did.. Many of the people up North tho..escaped down
south for the winter. I had aunts and uncles that went every
year.. My parents did once..and then didnt stay the whole time..
no they needed to be home.. Its beautiful down there and I love
their food..but I dont mind the snow at all.Even bothers me less
now since I dont have to get out in it at all.. If I could? well I
think walking in a nice warm snowfall is great..it doesnt have to
be THAT cold to snow..what?32 is freezing..so thats not bad ..if
you are dressed for it.. and you live up here you have the clothes
you need if you have to go out..

We know the tips and tricks of winter fun..carry kittie litter..a
flashlight..blanket..even water..just in case..never know..I had
a box I put together and in the winter I dug it out..and put it
in the trunk..I hardly used the trunk anyway so wasnt in the
way..and Id rather be safe than sorry..Ive heard many many
winter storm storys.. that really can scare you..things can go
bad so fast in a storm doesnt matter what kind..rain or snow..
rain you have a chance of drowning and snow you have one of
freezing to death ..I dont know which would be worse.. well I
wouldnt want either..

Donnie and Dawn..Kelli and Jorge are going to Wisconsin for
Christmas..With that storm coming I know..I hope it doesnt
hit here while they are on the road.. well I hope NO ONE gets
caught in this.. someone will depends where it crosses the lake.
Last year it seemed north of us got it worse ..which is ok..lol..
I worry though when I know D&D are on the road..even tho
Donnie is an excellent driver.. I still worry..well who doesnt
worry about their kids? lol..

Well Im worried about that doughnut i know is out there that
has my name on it..and I better see if its still there..Donnie
hasnt been here so it should be..hmm or did i eat it for lunch?
ohoh..well i have cookies..BUT NO TEA.. I will learn that..I
was up 2 times last nite..but I drank tea.. like now.this same
time. its 8:30 pm here ..well this is NOT tea time ..its time
to say Nitey nite :-)

A friend of mine, it seems every time we talk. one of the

questions I always ask.."what did you have good to eat today?"

And its really amazing at how long two people can discuss all

sorts of foods..to how to buy the ingredients, to the prep..to

cooking ..then of course the final meal..and since we are in

different countries there are not a lot of similarities yet there

are..like the bangers and mash or fish n chips lol..its the

same foods here they just have different names.. My friend is

in the UK, My mother was born there as I have mentioned

before..I know some of the old recipes she had that were

my grandmothers..But when I remember my grandmother

cooking, the one thing I remember most, my favorite was

her pea soup..Lordy that was good. When she knew I was

coming home from college for a week end she always made

a pot of soup. I think she did hoping I would stop by and I

would have soup or no soup lol..But..I love saffron, and of

course pastys..Up in the UP of Michigan and Wisconsin

even they are very popular.

Years ago ..my grandfather, moms dad, came over from

Cornwall..he and 2 of his brothers..they came over to work

the coal and iron ore mines that were starting up..this had to

have been back in hmm 20's? maybe a bit earlier..my mom

was born in 1910..so she was 8..1918.. they worked the mines

in the UK..and they needed the skilled men ..so after, the wives,

my grandma and aunts..came over with the children..my gramma

had 4 or 5 then..8 all total.lol..But to work the mines they made

these PASSS T EE S... im trying to put how to say the word

its not pASte..eee S .. those are special "coverings" for women's

you know what.I could say something but I wont lol..Ok.. they both

taste good..ask a baby lol.. :-) what? lol.. well anyway. :-) PASTY's

are good food..its like a pie crust rolled out in a circle then half

filled with meat..we use ground or minced beef, onion and potatoes

cut up kinda small..then you wet your finger and go just around the

edge of half of this circle..and fold the 2 halves together and press

the edge together.. kinda fold it over as you go around on top of

each other..put a small slice cut in the top and bake it..oh don't

forget salt and pepper inside too lol..I baked mine for about an

hour.till the potatoes are done. and they are good..Some put gravy

on them or cheese and all that but ..the original is like that. my

cousin June has an old newspaper clipping about where the Cornish

Pasty originated..of course Cornwall lol..They are even better when

they're cold..that's why they were so popular with the miners..

My grandfather and Uncle Stanley settled in Iron County, up there .

mines EVERYWHERE..none. but I think 1 is operational there.. my

uncle Leonard went up to Copper Harbor up north and a bit east

of where my grandfather was.the copper mines are up there by

Calumet..lovely area up there..well all of the Upper Penninsula is

just beautiful..well its mostly National Forest lol.. My dads dad was

a surveyor..and a mining engineer that helped to build and design

mines..he was the surveyor for most of the roads in the UP and a

talented map maker..lots of his things are on display at MIT ? the

university in Houghton I think it is.his alma mater. I have some of

my grandfathers old mining books..all the details and records.

back from years ago..I had planned to send them up there for their

archives and record keeping they are all hand written and drawn in

such detail..amazing..I never knew there were that many mines up

there Im surprised the whole UP hasnt sunk..or caved in..

Amazing..you realize we went from food to mining ? lol..now that's

pretty good..but that's how my mind works..the thought of food

and being hungry made me come back to the main subject..food..

lol.. Donnie was here earlier with Jerky ..hes a huge dog..told me

there was a explosion today a man killed..digging and hit a gas

line so powerful it blew a 80 foot deep hole..that's big.. of course

the 27 year old young man was killed..sadly and leaves a wife

that is due to have a baby in a month or so.. How I know the

details is..the property the man was digging joins my nephews..

and Donnie was on his way there when he saw them trying to

get the body out..so sad..he didn't have a chance..but the bad

part was..this poor guy didn't KNOW it was down there..he was

digging to build something a pole barn..and hit that gas line..

Donnie said as many times as he had dug almost in that same

line of it..and luckily didn't hit it.. but small world hey? I feel so

sorry for that little wife..how sad.. and this time of year.. but..well

everything happens for a reason..and whos to know what each day
will bring, when we open our eyes at sunrise that we will see the

sun go down at sunset..we all hope to everyday..but well we just

don't know and I, me..well I don't wanna know.. That little wife is

a sad girl tonite.. I feel for her and know the ache in her heart.. . .

But I do wanna know right now is how many of my doughnuts Donnie

ate while he was here lol. I had Penny get some for me and I KNOW

he ate one..cuz I watched him..but I heard him out there pretending

to get the dog.lol.. Penny will be back friday..I just hate to send

her back to the store again.lol. Got cold here and had to turn the heat

up a tad..Ken, Chris's brother came over said probly be a few weeks

before the new windows come..I told him he needs to hurry I DONT

like heating the out side lol. he needs to ..this all should have been

done.he had over a month knowing I wanted this place and it wasn't

ready when I moved in..painting especially ..only half done..like it

was only painted in spots in each room..lol. Ill get it done tho..I hope

before my 3 years are up lol.. Well time for a doughnut check..

ohh. only had to get up 3 times last nite.that was so fun..

~12 Days Left~

Its 5 days to Christmas..and 7 more to starting a whole new year again..I start mine off really great ..with a birthday right off.. lets not forget it please?? lol.. the 20th..write it down lol. Now, is THAT the way to start the year? Well..kinda sorta is.. well- you got no age number upper ahead for another whole year..so..hey..I'll be ready for full steam ahead..well hopefully anyway.. lol..well put it this way.. I'll be ready to face what ever good or bad is ahead.. to be honest..I have a feeling there will be some issues for me.. I see signs of it..and I know soon I will have to go and just see what all the CRAP is doing.. Just some things arent right..and I am really tired of it.. so I guess I have to go and just see what the problem really is.. I bet I don't want to know though..I like tingles..but not these kind :-) The boys just look so wore out dont they? My focus on my cam is off and I was playing so I took one of them.you can see how different their faces are..quick glance theyre hard to tell apart..unless you look at size and LB is ALOT bigger than Dutch lol..much to his dismay ..he doesnt care tho..they seem to be getting along again.. My right stump for a long time..stays asleep as I describe it.. that tingly feel..kinda picky? mine stays like that it seems. constantly and at times really drives me nuts cuz im so sick of always feeling it.. lol.. its like a nagging headache.. I try to lay different ways and use my pillows to help me stay the way I wanna lay..You have NO idea how hard it is to just roll to my side!!! I mean.. I have nothing to grab onto but the side of my bed..IF I can reach it from the way I am laying.. I have a small bed now..only a twin..I decided more floor room was better..Im not one to lay all over the bed.. I more or less stay in one spot..but.. When I go to turn..I have to have some thing to grab..or I have to sit up..scoot and turn a bit..then lay back down.. I used to do turning in my sleep! I cant now.. I wake up if I want to lay on my side.. and I cant lay on my left side now .. no .. not at all.. When I had my second abdominal bypass in 2000, they went in up at my shoulder by my neck..not through my stomach like the first time..they ran it down my side..I can feel it.. like a tube almost that's the bypass Dr. Thomas said..he was my Dr. in ELkhart, the Vascular Surgeon there..very very nice..good doctor. I told him it hurt when I laid on that side now..he said.."well don't lay on it" .ok..I don't lay on it..But I miss that.. When I want to lay on my right I have to make sure I have a pillow between them as my left stump is heavier than the right and longer..by maybe 3 or 4 inches..its hard to measure moving flesh..lol..well..to lay on my right side I have to have my weight balanced..cuz if I lean too far over to my right well I keep going ..Im a weeble person lol.. I got nuthin to stop me from going on over..lol..which I have.. I know no one can see me when I do that but I know how funny that has GOT to look and I do I can just see myself..I laugh.. Boy I just gave y'all a mind image there didn't I? lol. .sorry :-) but its true.. Sleeping isnt really easy lol.. And If I have to get up during the night..well before..if I had to go which I very seldom did..but I could almost go blindfolded..I didn't really WAKE up..Now..well foo..By the time I drag my butt into my chair im pretty much awake..and then as slippery as this seat riser is..with no side rails..well. I cant afford to be sleepy.. so then Im wide awake.and its 3am..isnt this cute? Then I get up..if I don't and go ahead and go back to bed..and go thru all THAT movement..I still don't go back to sleep so I get back up..I finally learned that..now I just get up and when I get tired I take nap..ive done pretty good lately for no nap..but its been hetic during the day a lot ..but a few nights by the time I finish writing these posts ..I mean if I don't go to bed my key board will just slap my face and wake me up you know? I know Im not the only one THAT has happened to...just seems the reminders are constant..even during the night..this right stump will start to wake up or go to sleep I don't know what is doing but..well I just have no choice but to sit up..seems that helps..Awhile back I was having this same trouble and it was from no cushion..and not laying flat enough.. so that could be the same problem again..it just isnt acting right.. lol. its acting left :-D I wish it would ..my left has almost NO feeling at all except when that buggar is down there stabbing me in the toe or in the heel!! lol.. Ahhh..life is good...:-) Well I just went off on a few different things didn't I? see ? I think I said that last nite..I do this in email too, so if you are brave enough to write to me ..well I do answer you know.. every letter I get..but sometimes they tend to be LONG..and I tend to be quite nosey too.. well I tell all about me.! so ..hey I like to KNOW too :-).. well that's how friends get to know each other BY asking questions..that shows you ARE interested in them enough to write and ask, or answer as the case may be.. And Mary .... my friend.. I know your reading this.. . . I want to say." Ive been sitting here for a half hour thinking about

what I was going to write about..and I honestly do NOT

know.. Its amazing though how I can write one thing and

from that go to another just that fast.. I think that's why

when I talk on voice on here the time goes so fast..I

do other things while I chat..or the person I am talking

to, we'll go and look at music sites or once we even

got on google earth, set the same co-ordinates so we

were seeing the same thing..and I had a nice personal tour

of London!! lol. that was great..Computers are so good..

I think what really amazes me is how fast an email will

get from the states to england..I only JUST hit send and

it says its gone and I hear " you have received a new

email" from the person I sent it to- Its amazing !! lol..That's

why these computers are so good.. How can a person be

bored with one? There are so many things to do and places to

go and things to hear even . .I'm talkin the good stuff now..the

wonderful power points, I have gotten lately are staggering.. one

about Syndey Australia..wow..the bridge there..just beautiful.

I have gotten some so funny I almost do uglies in my chair

laughing.. The ones that get me the most are the animals..
I laugh so hard at some that I get..You know- that's good for

you though, to get those things..that make you laugh and

smile or even sit there and say " Awww Crap ,, I knew

that . lol..usually trivia stuff? lol.. I got some kinda rhyme,

riddle thing a while back and sent it out and fooey NO ONE

could figure it out lol..

That's why I enjoy the comments here and we talk a little back

and forth like asking about Momars' spinach lol..I specially like

when Raife gets all bent otta shape when I don't use proper

English and my punctuation is off ..lol. lots I do deliberately lol

well got to keep him on his toes..lol..I stay on mine all the time,

that's how they feel anyway :-) I'm glad that you all do let me know

your here, and took the time to say "hey" ..Well I like to know who

is reading..and about them ..like EVERYONE does me LOL..

well.. its fun..and I really enjoy this blog..I must-Ive written every

Its only one week to Christmas..then one more to a whole new

year..boy.. where did this one go? I started writing this in Oct.

of 2005.. doesn't seem that long.. . :-) don't say it.. "YES IT HAS"

your not sick of me..not yet anyway..:-) But whats amazing though

is that- what did I say at the very top of this..what now...4 long

paragraphs later? "I don't know what Im gonna write about " lol

NOW that's how I can write every day ..Ive been referring to it

lately as 'talking through my hands' which is what I try to do..just

tell you what's doin..and hows it doin lol.. some days its draggin

too let me tell ya.. the wheels don't help either,, the tires seem

flat on those days :-D...

I did do a dummy yesterday though .. well I said I installed my 3 in

1 back..well hooked it up..I have a little table here fits perfectly

and EXACTLY in that spot between the end of this desk and the

wall..I put my printer up there..and yes.. about a half inch too close..

I sat there and just stared at it.. We put the table there thinkin the

scanner would be a tad smaller with out trying it..SO..well the

question was.."do you want to wait till Donald can come over and

pull the desk a half inch?" Now,, you KNOW what my answer was

don't you? I rolled to the end..by the kitchen door- put my chair

part in the door but most in the living room.. after I tried to pull

it from the end of the desk where the table was..No I couldn't get

enough traction and my brake kept giving out.. lol.. well... you know

me.. ok .. I did it..I braced myself there in the door way so that

I could reach the back side of it right here by the door..I was over far

enough..in the living room to be able to reach the desk both hands

and pull..I got this back side to move about what I HOPED would be

that half inch I needed, so I pulled , both hands..and after about 3

good hard tugs at it, the desk did move.. I had the wheel and side of

my chair braced up to and against the door facing...and I pulled.hard.

I rolled down to try to put the scanner in again and it just barely

squeaked onto that table.. :-D..see? I did GOOD! I would have had

to wait for Donnie..there was no way I would let Penny..shes so

tiny..no ..I would be afraid she would hurt herself..but I didn't need

to move it much..and If you do kinda jerky pulls..and im not weak

you know..it moved.. so I was glad cuz then I did the scan of the

photos.. Well the dummy part is- boy I got a sore arm lol... well my

own fault and I don't care.. I did it and its done and Im glad I didn't

have to wait and the best part I DIDNT ASK anyone to do it. :-) I

didn't have to I did it my own SELF.. If I would have had my

power chair ? I could move that desk in nothin flat lol..

Speaking of moving..Im hungry, not big hungry- had a fish sandwich

from Burger King..not the greatest..McD's is better.. Burger Kings

fries are SO SALTY!! wow.. I almost called and told them ..Wendys

has the best fries n chili.. I dunk my fries in the chili LOL.. well just

thin meaty ketcup..kinda ..its good ..trust me.. :-) I would never lie

to you :-) not about FOOD anyway LOL.THAT IS BLASPHEMY :-)

Food is such a GOOD thing.. Universal language :-D so Im moving

out to the kitchen ..like ive done every nite I think after I post this..I

bet you really don't think I do..but its true..Now ill go eat and then

come back here to the computer, close the programs..I never shut

it off and take my glasses off, grab the phone..sometimes, ive been

known to not remember it lol..and roll over to my bed..and I have

fallen asleep..with the clicker in hand and not had time to turn it on

before it was lights out lol.Doughnuts have that effect on alot of

people LOL Give my ex 2 doughnuts on a sunday morning? knock
him out cold lol..Nitey Nite :-)
