~Ramp Guy Is Doing Good!~ :-)

I have watched the ramp man since he had his ramp put
on his house, well trailer. He has a friend or some man
that comes and gets him at least 3 times a week and hes
gone for quite awhile.. I figured therapy or something, I
was right! He got a prosthetic! He was a right below knee.
Hes got 2 feet now :-) Good for him.. :-)
I watched as he came down his steps and then went back
up.. There were 2 guys that came by in the blue truck, but
it parked in a different place where his wife or girl friend
parks so that's why I paid attention.. then saw all 3 of them
come back outside where I noticed he had a new foot.. He
walked really well with it too.. As new as he is to this.. He
must have just gotten it in the past few days.. He did good...
NOW.. Looky what I have FINALLY gotten a photo of.. :-)
The GOLDFINCH and the Female too ! Shes on the ground.
I first noticed the little sparrow or what ever sitting on top
the big sunflower, then Penny said "LOOK!!!! I think that's
the GOLD BIRD! " There were at least 3... :-)
1 ontop the flower and see there on the right? Isnt that beautiful?

The poor thing had to hang upside down to get the seeds,
when Penny went out to look there is a big bare spot on one,
and there were some on the top where that bird is sitting.
This is so kewl.. I KNEW they would be back. Penny cut all
the buds off and put them on the ground.. its just a matter
of wait and see.. They will come and get these seeds..Then
by the time they have eaten all of those, the other 4 over
by the hummer feeder will be ready..
See 1 down on the ground on the right, one sitting ontop the flower..

We had FROST warnings last nite.. When I woke up I
was COLD! I had to put on a long sleeve top and a light
sweater till the sun really came out.. Fall is starting too
early.. Its not going to go up past 70 or so all week.. I'm
not ready for fall yet, I'm still enjoying this nice warm
sun AND the lower gas bill.. even though my electric has
gone up but not near like I had worried it would., but
its worth every dime to stay at one temperature.. :-)
Time for lunch but I don't know what, I didn't have
Penny make anything, as I'm not really hungry. When
I know what I want I will fix something... Her kitties
are safe and well even though mama kittie has moved
them again... I cant wait to see them :-)
Posting and closing this for today, but you KNOW
this GORGEOUS WEEBLE cant sign off before I
put my warning.. "I SHALL return!" ;-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and thanks!

~View of Another Backyard~

When I sit here enjoying this backyard I have
thought about when I sat out on the deck at the
farm. Donnie's and his then wife, Shirley. rented a
farm out in the country, nice place, David and I
would babysit the animals and kids when they would
go to the races, After we split up I stayed with them.
Her cousin Ralph had gotten hurt in a car accident
and recouperated there during the time I was
there off and on and in and out of hospital. Only
a few times were Ralph and I staying there at
the same time, when we did he stayed out in one
trailer and I stayed sometimes in the other or
slept on the couch.. It worked out for all of us,
Shirley took good care of Ralph and I both :-)

Ralphs insurance company paid for a ramp to be
built cuz Ralph was in a wheelchair for quite a
while.. he got hit by a car, peein on the side of
the road on his way home one night, drunk of
course, sure made him quit drinking, killed his
dog even.. he felt REALLY bad about that.. But
the ramp turned into a really nice deck and we
all enjoyed sitting on it had room enough for a
nice big picnic table and wheelchairs, I was in
one too most of the time I was there, I couldn't
trust my legs to hold me, I staggered when I
walked and looked like a drunk.. Everyone laughed
at me.. I did too.. I had no idea what was ahead..

The view in their yard was great, just beautiful,
It was way out in the country and that picture is
of the center of the circle drive that you can
see over on the left.. I was just about standing
on the other side when I took this photo of DJ.
In the back ground over across the road you can
just make out a horse standing by the fence.. That
is Dillon.. Shortly after I took that photo Shirley
bought him and he moved over to this side of the
road.. Was better for him.. Donnie sometime even
complained that Shirley treated that horse better
than she treated him.. :-)

Eventually that pool was replaced by a trampoline.
The girls , 3 remember, of course Kelli, then Shirley
has 2 daughters, Nikki and Amber. They were all
cheerleaders later on so that thing came in handy
when they practiced :-) Way in the back in the field
across the road just shortly after sunset it would
start to fill up with deer.. 15 I counted one night.. It
was fun to watch when the fawns were with their
moms and they played and had big fun.. Well what
deer wouldn't in a corn field? :-) I enjoyed watching
them. I sat many many hours on that deck... I'm glad
I didn't know what was ahead to spoil what I saw..
Because my next trip back to hospital I couldn't go
back to the farm.. I had to go to that first place,
then from there, sent up here to the HellHome...I
went back there to the farm.. but only twice more,
and the 2nd time was the last, that's when I fell
and broke my leg and the count down to being a
dak began...

I look out now and enjoy what I see immensely, like
I did at the farm, I don't think or plan very far
ahead, I would rather enjoy each day as it comes.
I do like to have a schedule if I HAVE to do some
thing, like see Rebecca or Travis, or when Penny
comes, But farther ahead than that, I don't want
to know... :-) I'm just enjoying what I have WHILE
I have it, but mostly WHILE I CAN :-)

What I can and am GOING to do the rest of this,
doesn't know whether to rain or shine, Sunday is
have some lunch and enjoy my view.. Time for my
GORGEOUS WEEBLE warning, "I shall be back !"

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and Thanks!

~2 Bee or Not~ :-)

There you see documentation of 2 hummers.. Is that not
kewl? I looked and looked at that photo wondering WHY
did I take it.. THEN I spotted the one up on the right...
The top right one is the female. They have been having
the best time out there with that feeder AND are VERY
protective of it..The male is moreso than the female..
They had flown off and I saw first one bee or wasp or
what ever that is, that Ive killed 4 of inside here, land
on their feeder. Almost instantly the male is there, he
hovers for a bit, circles, and then zooms in at the bees
till they leave! Bees don't give up that easily :-)
Penny must have mixed up a good batch this time cuz
this battle of the 2 bees and the 2 hummers went on
for quite a long time.. It really was fun to watch them.
She changes the water sometimes twice a week , it
depends how many bugs crawl up inside it and end up
floating inside that feeder. I sure have enjoyed it,
was worth every penny of the 6.98 I paid for it.. Just
like my cheapie birdbath.. Worth a million.. :-)
I have been looking at these sunflowers and they are
SO heavy and bent over that there is just no way any
of the birds could get to those seeds.. I saw the gold
finch yesterday again too.. but I'm just so not used to
Pennys camera it takes me longer to get it ready to
take pictures :-) But what I had thought of doing was
to get another birdbath. for up here by the sunflowers
and as they get ready cut them off and lay them in the
empty birdbath ! THAT would work! Ive got 3 or 4 more
sunflowers over by the hum feeder too.. so the birds
will hopefully have some nice fresh seeds AND THEN
maybe I can get a picture of that gold finch :-) See?
Plan of ATTACK :-)
Look at that tail.. isnt that just great?

Today it just does NOT know what it wants to do.. One
minute the sun is shining bright, the next its so dark
the yard light almost comes on.. Its been so cool this
week it feels like fall when I sit in the doorway, you
can almost feel it in the air, Ive even seen leaves out
there already.. This big maple here on the west side
will be so pretty again.. It was last year.

It soon will be a year that I moved into this place.. The
time has gone so fast.. Maybe cuz it really HAS been
a very stressful one.. Seems there was just one thing
after the other.. This year is almost over and I just
hope nothing else gets thrown at me and I can coast
on to next year with out any additional problems.. The
TV and things I need are NOT stressful. be nice to
have but in time I will get them replaced...Its the big
stuff like the rent issues... I DONT want to carry that
over to next year...

Well what I need to carry NOW is some lunch over to
the table and EAT :-) Penny made some great sandwich
spread and on that good pumpernickle bread, Its gonna
be good.. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted for
supper last nite, that or the leftover meatloaf.. Guess
what won? The meatloaf of course. I ate that with some
soda crackers and watched Cash Cab.. That guy that
drives the cab is the same one that narrates my other
favorite show, Deadliest Catch.. So I had good company
with my supper last nite.. That means its time for my
GORGEOUS WEEBLE warning, "I shall return!" :-)

~Animals ARE People Too ! ~ :-)

The birds are back, in fact there were 8 doves out
side this morning.. I have never seen that many at one
time out there.. Even Penny said she was getting a bit
worried cuz she hasnt seen any birds either ! So we
both were VERY happy to see them out there again..
Penny brought pictures of her babies.. They are so cute.
She said Mom has moved them again to hide them.
Cats will do that which is dangerous for the babies to
be carried by the neck. People do that to cats, pick them
up by the back of the neck, pulling up their skin.. That
DOES hurt them.. I get VERY upset when I see one picked
up by the neck by a person.

When Dutch was a baby, not very old, Stanley and my sis
were here. Dutch was and is still a playful boy. Stan was
playing with him and all of a sudden he reached down and
picked Dutch up by his tail! I almost lost it I got so mad.
I grabbed that cat and carried him and shooed LB into
my bedroom and closed the door.. The whole time I could
hear my sis reprimanding Stanley for picking up my cat
like that..

When I got back out to the living room I rolled right up
into Stanleys face and LOUDLY told him NEVER to touch
my cats again.. I never picked up HIS kids by their tails!
Then DONT pick up mine that way.. I informed him that
I will protect HIM from getting hurt by locking my boys
up every time he comes to visit because if he does a
stupid thing like that again I would HAVE no choice but
to hurt him.. and I surely would.. He said he picked up
their cat that way too.. They were keeping their grand
daughters cat Midnight for a while.. No wonder that
cat ran from him.. You don't do animals like that..

I watch the animal planet just about every day and they
WILL arrest someone for animal abuse now, which I
think is such a good thing.. So many just abuse their
animals and if you have to do that I don't understand
why they have a dog or cat or bird.. Birds? I love birds,
but OUTSIDE, NOT in a cage.. I just don't like them
inside a house.. :-) I tried.. I had a parakeet that drove
me insane.. it liked me.. but when any one else was there
it would squawk and squeek and so all sorts of stuff, fly
around the cage.. was awful, I gave him away.. :-)

We are due for nothing but rain and I sure can tell it.. I
was up most of the night last night.. Things are happening
that involve some work and more or less taking care of
business and I am on a deadline so to speak to get things
ready .. by the 10th as a matter of fact.. I need to have
a place for everything and everything in its place.. Its a
MOST important date.. :-) Its not really stressful, but
if you know me, it has to have a very careful 'Plan of
Attack'. With Pennys help the stress level wont go too
high.. But I will admit, this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is
most anxious for this to come about.. :-) I will tell you
in a while what it is.. :-) AFTER it happens :-)

Time to post and get some more done before Penny
goes home to her babies.. She has a black one with
a white place on its face just like Dutch.. I might get
that one.. Although the white baby is a Cutie too :-)
When she knows what they are THEN I will decide
IF I want one, Its hard to go thru neutering I hate
that part of it.. But it HAS to be done.

Now, I am done for today, this GORGEOUS WEEBLE
is ready for lunch.. Ham salad today.. :-) on pumper
nickle bread with Swiss cheese :-) Kitchen here I
come but "I shall return!"...

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? Luv ya and thanks!

~Havent Seen The Birds!~

That hurricane sure came onshore! We are due to get rain
for the next 4 days.. Talk about DAMP! I have been so
worried the past few days as there has NOT been any
birds outside but the hummers.. I was beginning to wonder
what was wrong, specially when it had been so busy out
there. The past few days Ive not seen any of those little
guys.. The doves hardly have been by either. Kinda makes
me wonder where the birds went.. and mostly WHY !!!
Got to be a reason.. Did you see that movie, old Alfred
Hitchcock movie, 'The Birds'? good one.. Except here
they are gone not swarming like in that movie.. Tippi
Hedron was in it I think.. Trivia.. :-)

I like to watch shows like jeopardy and even that new
one now called CASH CAB... Fun to watch these people
answer the questions AND to see if I know the answers.
This cab drives around New York City and picks up fares,
then he asks them questions for money.. They get to where
they wanna go and answer all the questions they win! I like
it. Lots of the questions I CAN answer which I really didn't
KNOW I could! :-)

When I was with David, he and our brother in law, John
would play the video game of basketball.. after each game
they asked a trivia question.. with multiple choice answers.
I would look at the list of them and yell out my A, B, or C.
David and John each picked theirs.. 95% of the time I was
right, very few did I miss. I don't know anything about
baseball but I knew.. I think... its because when I worked,
at sewing jobs I wore a headset, listening to the radio,
like I do now when I sew.

When you get busy or involved in something you don't pay
attention to what your hearing BUT you are STILL hearing
it and it goes back into the recesses of your brain.. yet,
YOU don't realize it has.. not till you get asked something
about it. then its "hmmm, how did I KNOW that answer?"
True ! That's what I contribute it all to, and plus :-)
I retain information.. like a photographic memory for facts
I think.. I think they have proven this though.. that we
retain things we hear and don't realize we do...

Penny made meatloaf yesterday before she left, and it is
SO GOOD ! I bet I ate half of it yesterday.. Shes a very
good cook.. I desperately need some new pots and pans..
Mine are ones my sis got for me 7 years ago when I moved
into the apartment, and with all the moving they show the
lots of use and the wear and tear of moving... I need a new
set.. My list of needs just grows and grows. If I had to
choose, which I need more a TV or pots and pans.. hmmm..
close call.. I will say TV :-) I hate not being able to HEAR
the TV, and the sound on mine is well I hear every 4th or
5th word. not good..:-) So TV first, then pots and pans, then
camera , then.....

THEN its time for this GORGEOUS WEEBLE to say "I shall
return! " I'm hungry! :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and thanks !

~Look For The Good~ :-)

I slept better last night, I'm so glad, I don't feel as
tired today. Its a sort of dull rainy day and kinda
gloomy but this sort of day makes everything look so
green, and shiney wet.. It really is pretty.. There is
something good to enjoy no matter what you look at
if you look at the right side of it.. When I look at
something I see differently than you would or some
one else.. So many LOOK for the bad, they don't see
the good that is there waiting to be seen...but its
there ! :-)

Many times Ive gone into houses or apartments that
were so bad.. but when I looked at them I see what
they CAN and COULD be.. I try to do that with every
thing, even people.. Lots of people hide their good
qualities rather than show them, not wanting anyone
to know there IS more to them... I like seeing what
is POSSIBLE.. what can be done to improve, maybe
is the wrong word, so lets say help make it what
it COULD be, the potential I see.

When I am in sewing mode, I can pick up a piece of
folded material.. look at it. and I can see it as a skirt,
or a top.. even a quilt... I see what that fabric can be
made into with a little help from not just me, but the
thread and pins or pattern, what ever it might take
to show it CAN be made into something worthwhile..
I think that's why I like to sew so much... :-) Looking
for the good is so much better than looking for the
bad, in no matter what it is..

I am glad you enjoyed my Brother Andy story yesterday.
In my book he was a marvelous man, one I looked up to,
many did, he has led many people to the Lord, We had
a chicken dinner one Sunday after church, Brother Andy
gave the blessing of the food.. at the end of his prayer,
he reached down and took a chicken wing off his plate,
held it up... and said "Lord, I am SO grateful that you
made chickens with wings, Amen".. We all smiled and most
of the people there agreed.. :-)

Rebecca came today, bearing gifts, some wonderful
mirrors for my wall and some stove covers for the
burners on my stove.. She is such a sweetie.. We did
talk about my grant.. she has emphatically told me
"Lois, Do NOT worry" So I am taking her at her word.
Penny is making us a meatloaf for lunch which I LOVE!
with a nice baked potato and some brussel sprouts,
that they have on sale, be some good eating.. wanna
come join me? :-)

Time to post and help Penny with lunch. Rebecca asked
me to adopt a baby calico kitten that is in desperate
need of some TLC.. and a home.. I told Penny I would
consider one of her babies, but if this little Callie is
in need, how can you turn your back to help a kittie?
Only thing is Callie is a un neutered female.. that will
NOT work with me having 2 males..even though they
are neutered.. they still diddle.. ask their stuffed
girl friends. :-) Be nice to have a baby kittie tho.. :-)

Done for today, which means time for my GORGEOUS
WEEBLE "I shall return" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and Thanks!

~A Church In Texas~ :-)

I had to take a photo of the dragon fly..pretty isnt it? :-)

When I lived in Pasadena, Texas, I belonged, well WE,
Willie and I, joined a little Baptist church called Park
Temple Baptist Church and Brother Andy Kyte was the
pastor, Brother CB Tiner was the associate pastor. It
was a very small church and that's why we chose it.
It was more like joining a family that cared about you.
You walked in there a stranger, but there was no way
the members let you leave that way. You felt welcome
and just enjoyed the fellowship and especially Brother
Andys sermons.. They could bring a grown man to tears
and I am witness to that, because he did ALL of us, his
sermons were so touching..
Brother Andy was a very big man and had the loveliest
wife who sadly we all watched and supported him as
she slowly died from cancer. We all shed tear for tear
with him as he wept openly. Brother Andy was a very
devout man, a true believer and had a true calling to
be a pastor. We all loved him dearly and we all looked
forward to going to church, which is how it should be.
Not going because you want to show the world that you
do.. One of my favorite sayings is, 'because you are
going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more
than being in a garage doesn't make you a car!'..
One Sunday before Sunday school we all saw Brother
Andy arrive, go into the trunk of his car and he dug out
this old dusty tire. He put it on the ground and rolled
it into the church.. We all looked at each other wondering
WHAT in the world was he doing? Brother Andy put
that dusty dirty tire right up in front of his pulpit in full
view, you couldn't help but see it.. He did NOT say one
word about it, just a "good morning, lovely day to be
alive isnt it" was his greeting to us.. We had NO choice
but to wait until it was time for the sermon, which that
day seemed to take forever! I just could NOT figure
out what his sermon could possibly be about that old
dusty dirty tire ? Everyone was eager... You could almost
hear a sigh as Brother Andy started his sermon with
"I KNOW y'all are wonderin' just what this here tire
could possibly do with this days sermon, so .. look at it..
its a SPARE TIRE.. Only taken out of the trunk when
you NEED it.. that's how some treat religion isnt it?"
We all smiled and knew it was going to be a moving talk,
I know I was eager to hear it.. I think we all were.. He
continued......

"When you are in a bad spot, what do you say? Oh GOD...
or GOD help me.. but you WAIT till YOU NEED it.. not
use it EVERY day.. so I call it Spare Tire Religion." He
went on for about an hour.. but that was one of the BEST
sermons I think I have ever heard.. and doesn't that just
about describe it? So many do that when now days with
such things going on about taking God out of so many
political things and school things, its awful.. I wont do it.
and I REFUSE to reword my pledge of allegiance.. I use
my religion every day, I thank God for being allowed to
have every day, good or bad. When I sit and look out my
back door I thank God I can see and hear and enjoy it
all.. I may not go to church, but I believe and I for one,
don't have spare tire religion :-)

Penny has given me an update, as she is here today, the
baby kitties are just as cute as can be, and they are all
safe and growing, the mom is turning out to be a good
one which Penny is so glad.. 3 white ones, 2 black and
white and 1 solid black.. shes not handled them to say
boys or girls.. I am very seriously considering getting
one.. I get a try out first, I would be so upset if I
took one and one of my boys was mean to it, which I
don't think they would but.. well LB is 7 this month
and Dutch is 6. They arent babies, spoiled like one,
but big boys :-)

Well we have lots to do as I am hoping to have company
in possibly 2 weeks.. lots I want to get done.. When the
plans are more definite I will give you details.. But until
its written in stone I don't want to jinx anything, this is
a MOST important visit that I have waited a LONG LONG
time for.. I will keep you updated..

Lunch time, post time and my GORGEOUS WEEBLE
warning.. "I shall return!" :-)

~Penny Switched~

Chippie
Switched days for Penny. She phoned about 8:45 and
asked to come tomorrow instead of today. I guess there
is a lot of changes going on at her boarding house. I
guess she will take over the running of it and not her
sisters friend. Be a lot of responsibility for her and I
did ask would it interfere with her helping me and she
has assured me that will NOT change. THAT would be
all I would need is to lose Penny and have to find some
one new.. THAT would NOT be good..She and I are so
used to each other PLUS she puts up with my little,,
what, quirks, idiosyncrasies? or how ever you spell it.
She knows me. I hope it works out ok for her. Shes
a good person and deserves a break, she steady tries
and that says a lot. With all the drama she has going
on with her kids and grands and now her job, well I
don't have it bad at all.. I would NOT trade places..
But she deserves better. I should play the lottery
more and then maybe I could buy that retreat I have
been wanting for the past 6 years, that is STILL for
sale.

I checked the other day just out of curiosity more or
less to see if it had sold.. Nope.. in fact they split the
15 acres and the houses into 3 different offers, which
to get it all NOW would be ALOT of money compared
to what they wanted years ago for ALL of it... 2 big
houses, 5 cabins, huge recreation hall AND its ALL on
a lake, and 15 acres, before.. its split now. Ive watched
this place. Theyre calling it a retreat.. Id LOVE to have
it., I think has LOTs of possibilities, sure would mean
work, but very worth it.. and whats so REALLY great
is that it is ALL wheelchair accessible, except the one
2 story house.. :-) Ive seen lots of photos of it... I
NEED to win the lottery... :-)

I did see a show on TV about that, people that have
won millions and say its the worst thing that had happened
to them.. Well they went nutz bought a lotta stuff and did
NOT do it by the rules.. You have to do it right and PLAN.
SAVE most of it.. Then there is NO more worries.. There
were quite a few on that show I was surprised.. BUt I have
heard this a lot.. I think I would like a chance to see what
I would do though :-) I'm willing to take that chance :-)

Was a very quiet day yesterday and I HAD to take a nap. I
was looking at TV and I fell asleep in my chair shortly after
I posted.. I woke up and decided to get onto my bed and
watch TV.. That was the last thing I remember till I opened
my eyes again at 2:30.. I think I was a tad tired.. I had a
phone call that woke me up.. I hung up the phone and sat
there for a few deciding to get back into my chair and go
find something to eat.. I looked at my chair, sat for a little
longer, then just laid back on my pillows and decided I was
more tired than hungry and when I woke up later and I
HAD to get into my chair THEN I would make a sandwich
or something.. not do an extra trip.. Lazy hey? NO.. My
arms have just been really achey lately and the less I use
them the less they ache... Today is proving to be the
same kinda day..

So, I'm gonna post this and just finishing doing nothing!
:-) Hell aint it? I wish y'all could say that too, in a way,
but then its really good to have a purpose, I filled mine
for today by posting this. so. This GORGEOUS WEEBLES
job for today is done.. :-) Well it is AFTER my warning of
"I'll be back!" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and thanks !

~Sayings or Superstitions~ :-)

I had to take a pic of this lazyboy.. LB..cute hey? He has no shame :-)
There's a saying, or maybe its what some would
call a superstition, that goes, if your right hand
itches it means you are going to pay out money.
If the left itches it means your going to GET
money.. My left hand is itchy.... I wonder should
I play the lottery :-) Lots of people believe in
these sort of things, When I was a kid and was
walking down the sidewalk, the saying was "step
on a crack and break your mother's back". Even
the 'don't walk under a ladder'.. All sayings that
have meaning.... When I visited Hawaii, they have
lots of these beliefs or superstitions as some
call them. But if this itchy hand one is true.. I'm
so VERY glad its my left that's itchy and NOT
the pay out hand :-)
I watched the house across the field from my front
door and saw the lady and one of the kids well boys,
Ive not seen any girls.. I THINK they have 3 sons,
2 look school age and one looks older. They have the
2 black labs, the young one Jesse, and they have 2
cats.. one the color of mine and a black and white
one. :-) Arent binoculars wonderful? :-) Well anyway,
I saw the mom and boy drag the picnic table over
by the garden.. I watched when the man tilled up all
that ground and saw them plant that garden. Its been
fun watching it grow.. They will have a nice harvest.
They spent a long time picking all their tomatoes..And
LOTS more to ripen.. Tons of green ones :-) I wonder
does she can them.. They are the VERY best..
I used to years ago put up lots of jars of tomatoes, I
used a lot of them. I canned everything and anything
I thought would be good.. I havent now in a long time.
My niece Beverly still does I think, she likes to do that
stuff too.. My sister used to do a lot of canning but
she cant do it either anymore, Bev the wonderful
daughter she is, shares with her mom...I KNOW my
sis is MOST grateful..:-)

I need to look up on line about these sunflowers and
the seeds from them.. I don't know if I should have
Penny cut them and put them on the ground for the
birds or what.. I'm sure I can find out.. Ive never had
these kind of sunflowers, only the real tall ones that
get those monster heads on them packed with seeds.
The ones next to my dads garage were massive and
I don't recall them cutting the flower heads off, I
know he tied them up because they got so heavy, I
think mine could use that too :-)

I woke up about 4 times last night and with a VERY
bad stomach.. 2 days in a row now I have gotten up
and not done too well.. Almost wasn't worth getting
UP ! Well I had NO choice this morning..:-) I REALLY
didn't :-) But I think this drab weather the past few
days and the rain, yesterday honestly felt like a fall
day, was so cool and I saw leaves flying around the
yard.. This year has gone so fast.. Soon I will have
lived here a year. When you think ahead to NEXT
year, look how fast the year has gone by.. Almost
September, the kids are already back to school
here...

I'm gonna relax the rest of the day and watch TV,
I hope I can HEAR it.. Its not doing good at all..I
wish I could read lips better :-) Time for this
GORGEOUS WEEBLE to do NOTHING but warn
ya "I'll be back ! " :-)

Y'all have a good one now Y'hear? luv ya and thanks!
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You", is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you Friend.
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

~More CHARTER CABLE Crap~ :-(

Well... my satday started off with a huge bang!.. I turned
my puter on, and no Internet.. I picked up my phone, I
had telephone and TV.. Didn't make sense.. So I of course
made the HORRIBLE mistake to CALL CHARTER.. Boy,
trust me, that is NOT the best way to start off your day,
dealing with some of the idiots they have working for
them.. I had hoped my problems with them were ALL
solved, but I guess not.. I talked to at least 5 different
people and was on the phone for an hour describing the
problem.. First lady I talked to told me a bold faced LIE
right into my ear.. Her name was Crystal. She doesn't
deserve her job for lying.. She said "I cannot help you
unless you read the info on the bottom of your modem."
THAT was a lie.. She could have reset everything her
self and chose NOT to. I repeatedly asked to talk to
a supervisor, she absolutely refused to connect me to
one.. I hung up on her and called back and after about
2 people I got hold of a guy named James.... I think he
may be one Ive talked to before about the lousy service
I get from CHARTER CABLE.. I hope someone from there
reads this... I do NOT recommend this company to any
one, In fact if you can get another, do it.. This one has
employees that I think they make themselves... like robots.

Well after OVER an hour going thru EVERYTHING a
dozen times, I got Internet back... I still have NO
idea what is wrong.. It happened a 2nd time AFTER
I logged on to MSN too.. I don't like MSN at all..
VERY invasive. but it shut me right off the net again.
Whether MSN did it or not I don't know.. But what
I did was unplug my modem box and wait 30 seconds
and plugged it back in.. IT WORKED! I did NOT
have to call CHARTER again.. I am SO GLAD.. I just
cannot deal with them.. Sorry company in my book,
PLUS, because of my deep voice they ALL say "SIR".
EVEN after I tell them "I AM WOMAN!!" they cant
even do that!

I get upset when I have to keep telling someone that
I am a woman because of my deep voice.. The first time
I am very nice about it.. and even laff, but when they
keep on.. every few words say "sir". I do get pissy, that
shows they are NOT listening to me.. that's VERY rude.
and it pisses me off badly.. Some I have REALLY told
off about it.. Well its rude, if you arent sure don't say
Sir or M'am... Down south that would get you a huge
slap... You make SURE you are calling a person by their
right gender especially if they have made a point to
tell you what they are... CHARTER is awful for this..

That lady Crystal was a real pip.. I would fire her on
the spot.. She made me so mad I hung up on her, I
didn't get a chance to tell her I recorded the call ..
SO . I HOPE Charter DOES investigate this woman.
She ought NOT to lie... no one should.. and I for one,
am NOT the person to lie to.. I catch it.. and YOU
will KNOW.. trust me.. I try VERY very hard NOT
lie about anything... sometimes you have to tell a fib
yes. but a deliberate hurtful lie.. Do NOT tell it to
me.. Trust me on this.. :-)

I made my hash.. It was SO good I cant even describe
it.. I bet after EVERY mouthful I said "MMM MMM MMM"
I couldn't help it. Penny ground up that roast and I got
my electric frying pan.. fried some onion, all diced, and
then I cut up the potatoes from the roast.. cooked that
for a while.. then I added my ground beef with the juices
it cooked in .. The smell? I could hardly wait to eat it..
It was GOOD GOOD GOOD.. and I made enough for to
day too :-) Wish y'all could taste it..

That's where I am headed to have my leftover hash :-)
I am staying off this puter today so I DONT have to
notice if I am on line or not.. I honestly am so disgusted
with this company.. and the bad thing is, don't do any
good to complain cuz they don't care ! As long as the
monthly bill is paid.. don't pay that and THEY call YOU!
Have trouble its FIND someone SMART enough to help..

So, this SMART GORGEOUS WEEBLE is posting this,
and gonna go enjoy her back yard.. No one messes
with me out there :-) Hope your SatDay is a goodie..

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and thanks!
