~County Fair Quilt~

Sewing is what got me out of the depression at the
HellHome. They tried everything and I just wasn't
too up on the things they had scheduled to do.. I did
play bingo off and on but they like played every day!
That got boring. It was easy to cheat and when I did
realize that some were doing that I just quit playing.
When they brought me that old machine and some
thread and fabric, is when I started to make quilts
there. The activity director found out that I really
COULD sew and asked me to help the 'aware' ladies
learn to quilt so we could enter one in the county fair.
Lenora had a room across the hall from me when I
was in B Hall...She was ok mind wise, but had leg
problems and chose to be there. She seemed to like
it and was involved in everything... She wanted to
learn how to sew. She and I got along really well and
you see us working on that fair quilt.. The quilt is still
hanging in the lunch room over there I think.. been 8
years since I was there.. Doesn't seem that long.. but
then other days, it seems like it really wasn't that long
ago..

One of the ladies that wasn't really 'aware'. she was in
and out.. some of her days she was fine,, then others she
was in her own little happy world..she would roll around
singing and just chatting to everyone about all her boy
friends, she was happy. She came in one day in one of her
'off'days, she seemed ok and was singing and having a good
time.. She sat next to me just about where you see Lenora
in that photo.. I was pinning the rows together so we could
see just which way we wanted them to go.. Lenora was over
on the other side facing me, pinning as well...

Lenora reaches across the table and taps my hand, when I
look at her, she nods her head towards Ethel, who is just
singing as loud as she can Jesus Loves Me. I look at what
shes doing and every pin I had put IN she very nicely took
OUT and put back into the pin box.!. I looked back at
Lenora and just put my head down a bit and just had to
laugh, she was so busy like that is what she was supposed
to do.. I asked Ethel was she having fun.. she said "YES,
but I have to go, but I will be back to help again". We
thanked her for her help and Lenora and I looked at
each other and smiled and started to just re-pin all the
ones Ethel had taken out.. Made her happy so what can
you say... We laughed about it.. I didn't notice what she
was doing I was off in thought too , plus I was enjoying
her singing! she had a beautiful voice :-)

We finished the quilt and won first prize :-) Everyone
that worked on it was really proud, I was because they
put a label on it with all our names on it.. Ethel.. even
her name was on it too.. well she did help.. if no other
way than to sing to us :-)

Sunny but kinda cool day, all our snow is gone.. Peggy
the Angel Food lady phoned and her son will be bringing
my box later today about 4... It sure is a savings for me.
I will have my steak tonite ! :-) I got one of those
Pepridge Farms Frozen cakes.. the Lemon.. well ... let me
tell you how good it was.. TOO GOOD!.. I ate every bit
of it in 3 days. :-) I know Raife, chair shrinker stuff :-)
I DONT care.. It was WONDERFUL... try it some time.
I have mess to clean up in the kitchen and I'm making
another wallet.. Time to post, and put my GORGEOUS
WEEBLE "g'day, g'day"... and wait for my steak :-) I
got 2 coming so.. you're invited :-)

Y'all have a good one now, y'hear? love ya and THANKS!

~Play Day~

I have been steady playing today. I woke up at 5 and my
first thoughts were 'what am I gonna make today'. So....
I worked on the wallet. I did a stupid though, I will
confess :-) I put the wallet together BEFORE I
made a pattern.. So it was either tear it all apart,
or just go from scratch with a pattern.. Total pieces
are 10. Which is a lot and specially since theyre such
small ones.. I did make a pattern and it will be easier
now to make another.. I thought I had the pattern but
I just couldn't find it.. its among the lost...
I did find my box of ribbon, and of course the color
I want is one I don't have.. That's always the way. I
was going to trim the wallet out in turquoise but I
didn't have the bias tape in that color.. Well it all has
to match.. Thread and all... I was diligently working
and you see my helper.. He gave us such fits this
morning while Penny was cutting out some pants for
me, not FOR me, theyre FOR Kelli.. I had to wait till
Penny got here so she could lay the material on the
floor and then cut the pattern out. I just don't have
the room.. When I didn't have my machine on this
dining room table I used it for a cutting table..
Dutch was steady in the way and both Penny and I
had to yell at him and as you see the boy got mad..
hes so moody.. LB was in there for a while and decided
it wasn't worth his time so he went back to bed.. I
did have a mess out there but thanks to Penny we
are all clean and ready for the week end.. I should
get my angel food so I KNOW that I will be enjoying
a nice steak and baked potato over the week end..
Probly Sunday, the church lady, Peggy will have her
son deliver mine to me.. I ordered some tangerines
for Penny and Donnie too.
All our snow is gone, it rained all day today and I sure
KNOW it.. My stumps are really achey and I know
its cuz our weather is going to such extremes. I wonder
if this will ever stop or just gradually get worse as I
would guess the arthritis that has set in these leg bones
will get worse with time so this achey probly will never
stop. The aches are different from the phantoms.. No
one has ever told me about all the different kinds of
pains and aches I would feel.. When I stop and try to
remember how they prepared me, either they didn't,
or I just don't remember.. Those 2 years still are a
blur, so its possible I don't remember all they said.
I was too interested in playin with the dust bunnies
and tryin to stop the yellow ants from devouring my
bed.. That was much more important :-) back then
anyway.. I can remember how mad I would get when
the dust bunnies wouldn't play with me. :-) I was such
a basket case back then I don't blame them... :-)

Food time AGAIN!! :-) Penny made some more of her
good egg salad for me to have over the week end and
she got the boys some food too.. So we are all set. Now
time to post this, cant forget my GORGEOUS WEEBLE
"G'day, G'day"... :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks!

~Wishes~

I was telling a friend about my wish I made so many
years ago about not having to work anymore and be
able to 'sit around' and sew and do what I want.. So
many don't believe wishes come true.. They do, but
sometimes NOT the way you expect them to, even
though it may be a good wish.. But.. how the wish is
granted is the key... So perhaps to make me really
realize the power of my wishes I was taught a
lesson maybe.. "Be careful what you wish for". You
may like your wish being granted, but not how you
got there... I made my wish back in.. hmmm.. I bet
93, I think.. so it did take a while, but maybe the
time in between was to prepare me for the granting
of my wish? Food for thought hey? :-)

I know I'm VERY careful of what I wish for now!
If I do make one I am VERY careful of the wording
too :-) So.. just a word to the wise about wishes..
There is that old saying of 'If wishes were horses,
beggars would ride'. So HOW you got that wish granted,
Id hate to think of some of the possibilities getting that
wish. Might end up getting trampled by horses ! :-)
But I am a firm believer that if we truly believe a wish
will come true I think it will.. don't know when or how,
but I believe when I make that wish if I believe it
WILL come true it will.. The Bible tells us that. "If we
believe, it will be granted to us".. I cant quote you
chapter and verse sadly... but I do believe this no matter
what I wish for, hope for or pray for...

We all need wishes though.. in a way they are sort of
looking ahead and hoping.. I see them that way.. And
if we didn't hope.. and wish.. well why do anything all
day? Just sit and wait ? No.. I will keep marching on,
well ok,,, rolling on.. ready to help make my wishes
come true.. good or bad... and I don't think the loss
of my legs as something bad at all.. Didn't make me
too very happy but, once I got past that.. its not too
bad. Plus look at all the great friends I have Because
of this.. I am NOT complaining and I shall continue
to WISH... :-) and of course, HOPE :-)

Well I'm wishing now my lunch was out there waiting
for me but it isnt.. COA called and said no lunch today
because of the fog.. It really was bad this morning
too, I couldn't even see that cat over there on that
porch :-) I'm hungry and I am still working on my
little wallet.. do you know it has 15 pieces? :-) it
takes a lot of patience to put together.. I have to
admit it did make me say a few "choice" words when
I put a part of it together backwards.. :-) Post time,
food time, sewing time AGAIN.. I write that every
day :-) and my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "G'day,G'day"

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and THANKS!

~Pennys Better~

Nice day today, and Penny is better and I am very
glad.. so is she ! A few at her house still are not
quite well, but better, so I hope she is not carrying
the germs around, since I am not her only client..
She got her car all fixed, new tires, oil change and
tune up, brakes fixed.. shes set to roll too :-) Well
when you know your car is all tuned it makes you
worry less. Penny said she was getting 32 miles a
gallon again.. before this work she had dropped
down to 23.. so this really helped her since she
does so much driving.. Plus I feel better knowing
she is in a safe vehicle..
I made a new wallet today, that is one I designed
quite a few years ago. It looks like a coin purse,
but it will hold 4 creditcards, has a place for coins,
bills, it has lots of room.. It took me a while to
make a pattern from it as I just couldn't find mine
that I had.. I think of all the sewing things I had,
the supplies.. That little white bow on it I had I
KNOW at least 50 of them. I used them a lot, so
I bought a lot of them so I wouldn't have to keep
going back and forth to the store..
That's the problem now that I am running into. I
remember all I had, and still hope I perhaps was
smart enough to keep some things upstairs, which
I did, but just not everything.. It was my own fault
for being so careless. It wont happen again.. But
when I need something and I don't have it that
irritates me when I know I DID... Like the lace
trim or the ribbon bows.. I will get them back in
time.. plus if I really need something my sis always
shares with me, which I am so grateful she does.
I wouldn't be making this new wallet if she hadnt
given me the double sided quilted material.. :-) I
will take a picture of it before I assemble it and
after its all put together.. Its a beautiful black
and turqoise material..

We are all clean and Penny made some spaghetti
sauce for us for lunch, which was VERY good.. Shes
a good cook, plus she likes to cook.. which makes a
big difference. So I'm gonna eat my spaghetti,
well after I post this, then I'm gonna work on my
wallet.. so you know whats next.. my GORGEOUS
WEEBLE "g'day, g'day"....

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and THANKS!

~The Dress Is Done~

Doll in her Christmas set, Dutch has to be in this too :-)
I finished my dolls dress and made a hat for her to
match. She looks cute I think plus she matches my
living room colors now a lot better. Maybe later I will
make her a sun dress. Donnies mom made her for me
a long time ago. Lots of people have to look twice to
make sure its not a real little kid!.. The dress is a size
3. So shes a big girl.. I know, I'm a little old to be
playing with dolls, but its fun to make clothes for her.
Doll clothes were the first things I learned to make.
Dolls new dress & hat.
I still remember sitting on my grandparents front
porch, with thread and cloth and a needle. I didn't
realize back then that gramma knew how to sew too.
Where else did my mother learn? And she was an
expert, I think that's where I got my talent from,
without realizing it, from watching her. She would
help me if I asked her, but most of the time she let
me figure it out.. That's the best way, to try and see
if you can do something AND of course the best and
easiest way to do something, that applies to every
thing, not just sewing...
Penny phoned and she still is not up to par. She was
willing to come in but I told her I would rather she
be total well so I don't get it. She will be here in
the morning. Plus the boys and I have been pretty
neat.. Well until Jerky came in like a bull in a China
shop last nite.. Donnie came by and had the dog
with him.. The company was ORKIN. They left a rat
trap in his garage and the dog found it and ate it.
It said that it was tamper proof, but a 80 pound
dog? I don't think it was meant to stop him. Donnie
called ORKIN and told them what his de bugger man
did and they have offered to pay his vet bills.. Jerky
is still in danger and has to be watched all the time.
Donnie is to keep checking his gums, if they get
brown spots on them Jerky is in trouble.. Donnie is
so upset about this..and I sure don't blame him. How
could this guy leave something that dangerous where
ANY animal could get into it.. or even a child! Donnie
has 4 grands that play in his garage, what if they had
gotten it.. Most un professional.. He has cancelled any
further service from them and I would too...

Donnie tried to fix the arm of my chair when he was
here. But he just isnt familiar with wheel chair repair.
The whole arm moves and the left one doesn't
move at all.. I have NO idea what to do to fix it.. I did
call R & R and am waiting for a call back to see if it can
be fixed.. I hope so.. makes me nervous when it feels so
loose.. that's all I would need is to fall out of this chair
cuz the arm fell off.. :-) I have more crap hey? :-) oh
well.. again, the joys of chair life... I'm SO glad no one
pre warned me about this.. I really would NOT have
been too happy .. :-) Learning as I go is better :-)

I'm hungry and need food, what, I have NO IDEA. I
will have to just look and see what looks back at me.
Maybe something will fall out of the freezer just
begging me to cook it.. I wish it would fall out already
cooked too ! NOW, THAT would really be a treat..
Miracle would be more like it I think :-) Time to post,
and my daily GORGEOUS WEEBLE, "G'day, G'day".

~I Called Joe~

We have sun today and its really pretty out.. Yesterday
was wild.. It would snow like crazy and right in the middle
of it the sun would shine bright.. I mean the weather just
couldn't make up its mind what it wanted to do.. So I guess
it just kept messing with us, giving us that nice sunshine,
make us smile, then WHAM! Snow in bucketfulls. I would
say we have at least 6 or more inches.. I heard on the TV
that Kalamazoo got over 8 inches, and that's not far from
me. I watched that snow and got to worrying about the
driveway.. Penny would never be able to get that car in
my yard.. So, I called Joe.

Short while later I saw a blue truck with a plow and he
did the driveway and in front of the mailboxes.. I did
mention that to Joe. I don't mind taking our turn keeping
the mailboxes clear.. but the other two that have their
boxes out there could do their share.. I hope Joe tells
them next door.. They park their car in the front and
Joe is most displeased with that. They wont park out
back, probly cuz its a longer walk to get inside, but
I saw the plow guy clear in front of them so I was glad.
He doesn't do the sidewalks though..

So- I was looking at that and I know Penny carries a
shovel in her trunk, so I knew she wouldn't have to wade
through it.. While I was sitting here the doorbell rang.
I'm NOT used to having a doorbell, so everytime it rings
it scares the daylights otta me, then I have to look see
WHICH door! Both bells sound the same, so unless I
keep the blinds open I usually end up going to the wrong
door !! :-) Anyway, I had the blind on the back door
open so I knew no one was there, I went to the front
door and there was Jim, the COA snow guy. He asked
if I wanted my sidewalks shoveled.. I said NO.. :-)
Ya right, like I would refuse a snow job :-)

He shoveled the front, and then did the back. So Penny
wouldn't have to do it, So I KNEW she would be glad
when she got here this morning.. Bad thing was, she
didn't come today!, shes sick and running a fever of
101. I DONT want her here cuz I sure don't want that
crap ! Once is enough...She said 4 people at the house
are sick. They probly all got it at different times and
will steady pass it back and forth. My friend Blue in
Australia said his place is under lockdown, only staff
in and out. Last time that happened it lasted for over
8 weeks.. So many were sick. Penny is the house
mother, I guess you would say at this adult care home.
There are 5 or 6 people that live there, so germs
spread easily.. I just hope she gets better soon..

So anyway, I made a dress today for my doll and its
almost done, will be by tomorrow and I'll take a photo
of it. its really cute. Little girls dresses are fun to make.
Well anything I make to me is fun.. That's why I never
minded going to work when I had sewing jobs :-) Time
for lunch, Chris just left and checked the mail for me.
She does when Penny isnt here, sure is nice of her..
She looks a lot like my Kelli.. I will have to ask if I can
take a photo to put here... :-) Post time, food time,
and more sewing time :-) SO--"G'day, G'day" from this
GORGEOUS WEEBLE :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? Love ya and Thanks!

~We Got Snowed~ :-)

Well we got the snow and its not done yet. I had to call
Joe and ask if his snow plow guy was gonna plow today.
I looked out at the driveway and with the city plows
doing the street, there is NO way Penny will be able to
pull into the driveway tomorrow morning.. So I hope that
he will come and do it.. Penny will have to shovel her way
to the door but at least she wont get stuck. With all this
snow my company wont be coming today :-( I had a nice
dinner all planned too.. Joys of living in Michigan.. just live
day by day, don't plan, specially in the winter :-)

I have gotten lots done today though. I cut out the dress
for my doll here in the living room. I even plan to make her
a little matching hat. Hats are so easy to make and I like
making them ... At one time I made hats for a lady that
did the marketing more or less, she took them around to
different stores and shops to sell them. They did sell very
well as most were washable, plus they were reversible, so
it was like getting 2 hats in one. like my welding hats I made
for my ex brother in law. They say women are so fussy
about hats and things, well.. John was just as bad as were
the other welders.. NONE wanted alike hats, all had to
be different material.. and they say women are bad :-)
The leather ones turned out really nice.

I have mastered my use of my sewing machine that is
working out great. When I called the BROTHER sewing
machine company and talked to that woman, that I swear
was NOT a sewer, she may have known how to operate
a sewing machine, but she wasn't a sewer.. To only turn
a machine on and off you would have no control of the
speed.. she didn't realize that so that's how I KNOW
she doesn't sew.. You have to control the speed, fast
or slow or a stitch at a time.. Anyway- I put my 'foot
pedal' on my arm rest next to the joy stick which helps
keep it up there. Then I use my elbow to control my
machine speed.. works great plus it leaves my hand
free to control my material.. Only thing I seem to be
having a problem with is remembering to move it
from there before I roll away from the table.!. :-)
Ive done that twice now and the case for the pedal
is just plastic and I'm glad it hasnt broken when it
hit the floor.. :-)

Joys of chair life, it still amazes me that even though
being a nurse and around chairs and disabled, I never
fully realized just how challenging chair life is.. Its
not as easy as some make it look the way they jump
in and out of their chairs.. But if you look close those
chairs are different.. closer to the ground, and most
of the people are young. I have no doubt if I was in
my 30's that I would be just as active and probly be
no stopping me.. Now, at 64 I'm not saying its hard,
but its not THAT easy either. and too when you have
other health issues that can cause problems.. that
makes a difference too.. I am most grateful though
that I do have this chair.. just think if no one had
invented it.. I hate to think of what some people
would come up with :-)

Well its lunch time and I'm hungry as usual.. I think I
will have some pea soup.. I love that stuff, its by
Progresso.. which makes the VERY best soup.. Its a tad
more expensive but well worth it for the taste it has.
Time to post and eat and sew AND write my
GORGEOUS WEEBLE "g'day, g'day". :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks.

~Achey Day~

We are getting our snow. I can tell, my stumps are really
achey today. They've not ached this bad in awhile. Must
be something, I'm achey and just feel like I'm in a
frump kinda, not bad. Its really a good thing I'm in this
chair I go up and down so much, be hell if I had to walk
it, I ride it out now :-) The boys are crabby as all get out
as well.. They have steady fought the past few days...I
found a huge clump of fur on the rug this morning that
came from one of them. Penny tried to pet LB yesterday
like she always does, and he slapped her. Not like him..
I just have no idea why theyre acting up but then I don't
know why I act up half the time either :-)
The boy phoned last nite and he was kinda upset.. I guess
Jerky, his chocolate lab, found a rat trap or something
that was left outside by a bug company. The dog ate it
and collapsed. Donnie made an emergency call to the vet
and he told him to make the dog sick so he would expel
that crap from his stomach. Donnie said he grabbed that
dog, poured that peroxide down his throat and made him
puke at least 4 times.. then he picked him up and drove
him to the vets.. Jerky almost died.

Dawn kept the dog yesterday as Donnie is making a daily
trip to Ohio for his job. which is a 5 hour drive each way.
He had Jerky home last nite and said hes doing ok. But
boy, is Donnie mad.. How could this company I don't
remember the name but its a well known company, I will
ask before I say the wrong company. But this is awful.
They left this trap outside, and when Donnie let Jerky
out, well he paid no attention to him chewing on stuff
cuz he loves to chew on sticks.. but when the dog came
up to Donnie and he saw it in his mouth and made him
spit it out, he realized it was NOT good.. Rat poison is
NOT good.. for any animal.. and to leave this out for
squirrels or rabbits or cats all these could get into that
thing just like the dog.. To me that's careless..

I asked Donnie to let ME call the company for him.. He
said he would do it.. I sure hope he tells them off AND
makes them pay for the vet bills hes got now.. how care
less, that's not right. I wonder how many other places
they've been left out for animals to get into.. I just
have a serious thing about mistreating animals.. Theyre
people too.. :-) But I sure would have loved to tell that
company off for him... Bad business and when I ask him
what company I will put the name here for the whole
world to read at how careless this company was.. Poor
Jerky.. He wanted to play ball last nite with Donnie so
bad, but the vet told him to keep the dog quiet for a
few days.. Well how do you tell your kids "no"? I wish
I could babysit Jerky but hes just too much for me
to handle, he doesn't mind me.. well hes not my dog..
No one can order someone else's dog around.. :-)

I finished my grands pjs. They are so cute.. TAZ.. This
pair is just a sample for her to try on him and then I
can go from there. If they fit, make more, if not, then
I just re adjust, which isnt hard.. I talked to my sis
yesterday, shes better, and told her I couldn't figure
out how to do that V neck. That thing gave me fits.. I
figured out a way, totally NOT the way it says but it
works for me .. That's the joys of sewing,, you can
sew stuff the way that works for you.. I just could NOT
figure it out .. I just figured out a new plan of attack!
and it works.. I know Kelli will like them.. Now I'm making
the slipper sock pattern smaller for him.. so he matches,
cant have our boy not matching :-)

Well I'm gonna go and fix myself some lunch, what.. I
have NO idea.. but I am hungry.. I have some shrimp
and that sounds really good so I might have that.. The
snow is steady coming down, I had hoped it would wait
till later just in case my sis wanted to come back up
and bring me some more goodies :-) So, time to post
then eat but not before my HUNGRY GORGEOUS
WEEBLE "g'day,g'day".. :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and THANKS!

~Cold out ~

BRRRRR... cold day. We didn't get what they said we
would but we are under winter storm watch again for
tonite.. says 4 to 6 inches.. I expected to get up this
morning and see lotsa snow out there and theres just
a light dusting.. not bad at all. Tomorrow morning may
be different. :-( I hope its not too bad as I am
hoping to have company Sunday. And if the weather is
bad well I don't want anyone on the road driving to
come here just to spend a few hours with me and I
worry the whole time about the roads. So hopefully
the worst will be north or south.. east or where ever,
or even next week.. I am looking forward to seeing
my company its been awhile...

Penny came today and I told her how good her egg
salad was- that I ate every bit of it.. So today she
made some tuna salad... I havent had that in ages
either. Well COA sends it sometimes but they put
celery in it and ICK ! I don't like celery, any more
than I do carrots.. :-) ICK... Carrots are very good
for you.. Its proven the carotene is a cancer
preventer and will help cure it as well... I heard on
TV on a food show of course, which is what I mainly
watch.. and mangoes have carotene in them too,,
I didn't know that.. Good to know..Ive never had
them but I think they are something like peaches.
and I LOVE peaches...

When I lived in Elkhart, I canned food every summer.
One of the best, tastiest things I made were canned
peaches.. Willie and I would drive up here to Michigan
to one of the many peach farms and buy a couple
bushels of them, just freshly picked from the trees.
I made fruit cocktail as well.. My canned peaches I
want you to know were better than Del Monte .. :-)
At suppertime, when Donnie and Kimmie lived with us,
I would put 3 bowls.. one for them and Willie, and
put a pint jar of my peaches on the table for them
and the count would begin...

Kimmie and Donnie would get a fork and put one slice
of the peaches in each bowl.. so they all had the same
number of slices.. If there was one slice left, they
would divide it! And if one of them cheated.. Donnie
would get all upset and Kimmie? she would jump straight
up in the air, and yell.. "NOT FAIR".. and grab a slice
out of Donnies bowl as usually he was the one with more
slices than anyone else.. Willie didn't care he knew if
he wanted more he'd just go get another jar.. The kids
knew they better not.. at least not with out telling Willie
first.. But those peaches were good.. When Kelli came
along and the jars had to then be divided between 4 of
them.. well I had to make quart jars then :-) Nothing
like fresh canned food.. or homemade jam.. which I did
that too.. strawberry and raspberry, which is my favorite.

Speaking of food, I'm hungry and its time
to post this, and get some more done today,
so that means time for my GORGEOUS
WEEBLE "g'day, g'day".

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and thanks~

~ALLLLL Finished!~ :-)

Carl showed up bright and early, he just knocked on the
door. I was kinda halfway expecting him but wasn't sure.
He usually calls first, he said he tried, but my line was busy,
which it was, I was talking to Blue in Australia.. :-) But Carl
got the carpet put into the bare spot and he did his usual
good job.. Didn't take him very long.. and of course, the
first one to inspect it was the kid. Dutch watched him the
whole time.. Dutch is like a supervisor here, he follows
Penny all over and watches every thing she does.. Usually
when I have company I sit here by my desk, Dutch perches
on it and wont budge till whomever is here leaves.. like hes
my guard cat :-) I'm so pleased with this door being fixed
Its wonderful. Amazing how just a small, well it wasn't THAT
small a job, but just something like that can make things
so much easier for me... Let me tell ya, I sure appreciate it
too.. Its a treat.. Now If I can figure out a way to cover this
glaring light on the joystick at night, Ive got it made ! :-)
Well we are predicted for the next 3 days to get snow, snow,
and MORE snow.. total each day they predict 3 inches to 8...
Best way to tell living here in Michigan is to just look out the
window.. In just a matter of 5 minutes this morning I watched
it go from partial sun, to light snow, to a total white out where
I could see nothing at all... Plus the fact its freezing cold out
only 18 degrees..I watch that poor kittie over there huddled
by the door.. I'm gonna go get that cat , I cant stand seeing
this.. I'll let him in here... I don't think the boys would like it,
but I'm the head kittie in this place and what I say goes !! I
wont go get it, but Id sure like to... I should have asked Carl
who they are and call them.. just so I know the details of that
cat.. He may Not want to go in.. but I see it jumping up on the
door.. Its too cold for it to be out there anyway... I will just
have to quit looking over there that's all... :-) Ya, you KNOW
I'm gonna stop .... NOT :-) just bothers me...
I had Penny go to the store yesterday, just in case it gets
really bad and she cant make it Friday. She agreed if she
cant on Friday she will try her best to be here on Saturday.
Shes so happy she can get her new tires now and fix the
brakes on her car.. She got her income tax check :-) She
bought herself a sewing machine and I promised to help
her make some things.. I told her to bring it with her on
the days shes to come here and we can do it then, and I
don't mind helping her at all.. She has a grand baby 1 day
older than my Alex...but a girl... so she wants to make some
things for her and her other ones.. Penny has 4 or 5 grands.
For only 48 shes done good :-) well her kids have, of which
she has 4 kids too :-)
I heard about the woman that was attacked by a chimpanzee.
How awful. I don't know why people don't understand that
a wild animal will NEVER be tame.. Now her poor friend has
to have a FACE transplant I heard on TV last nite.. AND I
also heard, even though it says hand repaired.. I was told
this monkey bit both her hands off.. How awful for this
poor lady.. And just as bad for the owner of this chimp...
On MSN it said the owner may be charged, as we are
all responsible for our pets, like our kids, if they do some
damage it costs the owner.. Its so sad though.. I just
cant imagine.. When the medics went there they couldn't
tell if it was a man or a woman her face was so bad.. Poor
lady, she is on my prayer list...

Well I'm prayin too that lunch will be pretty good today. Chris
doesn't get here till after 1. On the days that Penny isnt here
she will go out and get the mail for me, which is really great..
I look forward to the mail... well not when its bills.. but when
its good stuff :-) The egg salad made yesterday is GONE!
It was so good I ate one sandwich at lunch, one after I logged
off and then one about 6.. I sliced some fresh tomato very
very thin and put that on it.. M M M.. VERY good.. I really enjoyed
it, had been ages since Ive had egg salad.. cant say that any
more !! :-)

Time to post this and do something today, make myself useful :-)
or at least FEEL that way :-) Post Time ! :-) This GORGEOUS
WEEBLE bids you "G'day, G'day" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and Thanks !
