~Up at 3 am~:-(

I woke up at 2:30am, and got up and have been UP since!
I have no idea why, I just could NOT go back to sleep!

Too much on my mind I guess, which stresses me out.
This has been both a good and bad week..Seeing dear

friend helps of course, but the crap with Blue, that's still

not settled. Ive not heard a peep from him..I'm still getting

calls though..Plus my bank crap..which gave me a massive

headache stress is NOT good.. I am guessing that's why

I woke up. I think the headache is what did it...Its still not

gone away. :-(

I'm gonna post this as soon as I finish writing it, eat some

thing, I have NO idea what, I think just soup..Its a rainy ugly

day outside too..Poor Penny has to help a new client move

today and she said she hoped it didn't rain..Well maybe it

isnt raining in 3 Rivers..like it is here..I'm glad it is though,

the outside cats spray out there, and then it smells, so I

do like the rain for that reason...

That oil spill here in the Kalamazoo River is awful..All the

wild life and the people.Some that live on the river are

getting sick from the smell..Its moving on to other rivers

now and it is NOT looking good..Millions of barrels of oil

have leaked into the river and I guess they didn't see it

till it had spread quite a ways down...Sad Sad Sad...It

could easily get into the 3 that run into Three Rivers, and

what if it made it to the St.Joe River that goes all the way

down into Indiana...It could if they don't stop it..

I have no plans for today other than to go back and take

a nap soon as I post.....I am tired..so anyhoway, this

GORGEOUS WEEBLE has written for today, remember

~Hummer Festival~

There is a hummingbird festival here this week end. I

saw it advertised in the Sturgis newspaper.. I sure enjoy

mine that I have here.. I steady keep looking all the time

for baby ones, but I bet they are so tiny they look like big

bugs :-) I know I have at least 4 different hummers out here.

After watching them so much I can tell the difference.. :-)
I counted 3 male finches out there at the same time today..
3 finches..one lower right.. one in the middle..one at the top...:-)

THEN the female came by, she didn't stay long,..When the

finches are eating they are so sloppy...they throw seeds all

over the ground, then the chickies and the blackbirds have

a few..nothing like just picked fresh sunflower seeds :-) I

am SO glad Penny planted them..And, the honeysuckle is

blooming again.. :-) I LOVE MY YARD :-)
Gotcha! Corn in mouth! :-) cute hey? :-)

Ive put a few of my rings back on.. I don't have any on that

I cant get off..Mainly because they are adjustable ones :-)

I have 2 silver spoon rings that arent easy to open but I can.

So I can wear those and I have another silver ring that is a

wrap around..That works too.. I don't feel so naked now. It

was awful not wearing any rings.. I miss my bracelets tho.
I cant wear them either.. If I got an extension thingie for them

I probly could..

My eyes are still awful and hurt, burn and tear up constantly.

And I wish it would stop..As the day goes on the get progressively

worse. Then I have to get a cold wet cloth and lay it over my

eyes..That seems to help.. It does the help the headache that

comes with this I know..

I have received word my company has made it home safely and

they enjoyed their visit..I did too.. Its always so nice to see dear

friends.. :-)

Penny has gotten us all clean and fed and re supplied the seeds

and corn outside for the critters and birds..The chippie, loves the

carrots I put out there for him.. I'm glad, I hate to throw away food..

If it can feed an animal or bird...Id rather do that than throw it in

the garbage can.. I know its summer and food is plentiful..but I

don't care..I wont waste anything..:-)

I had Penny make some spaghetti sauce for over the week end..

I really don't know what I want today, I'm not really hungry .. I may

make some noodles later and use the sauce , that would be good.

Well this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is gonna post this and go and

watch the finches and the hummers and all my yard critters :-)

I got the most beautiful photos of the finchES while

I was waiting for my company to get here..Note the

ES...2 of them.!. Arent they just beautiful? I sure enjoy

this yard.. :-)They both stayed for quite awhile..I
LOVED IT !!! :-)
My company arrived safely about 3..they made very

good time. We had a light supper of the tuna fish, well

no, albacore salad, and a relish tray of cherry tomatoes,

deviled eggs, few carrot sticks, cucumber slices, cheese,

crackers..Long drive they were more interested in visiting

a while then getting some rest..
They went down to the Palmer Lake Lodge and no one

was there, so we phoned, but got an answering machine

and had to leave my phone number..About an hour later a

lady phoned, returning the call. She had a room but was

only going to be there for about another hour. They had to

hurry down there before she left...They did, its closer to go

there than all the way to the Super 8 in Coldwater, which is

the next closest..Amazes me theres no other accommodations

in this town...Lots of restaurants, none deliver though...SO

MUCH could be improved here..Better stores for one, well

2 besides no motels..:-) Anyway...
Totally up side down!

The room they said was just perfectly beautiful.. Spotless

but did NOT have a phone..Was on the 2nd floor..The bed

was one of those high ones, with a step stool to get up in

it..My friend was worried they would fall out of bed and

could really hurt them selves..But it was a lovely room, and

did over look the lake. They had boats for rent and there

was a very small cafe, but it wasn't open and VERY very

few people around, which for this time of year..I would

think it would be quite busy...Although...

I wasn't going to say anything..but, I can see why no one

was around..They didn't have much business, I talked to

the lady on the phone when she returned the call .. I was

MOST amazed at her attitude..as though she really did

NOT give a darn whether she rented a room or not! And..

sadly to say when my friends came this morning we did

compare our notes on this lady.. She did NOT impress

us and with her attitude..well if she worked for me..no..

wrong..she would NOT work for me...When you deal

with the public at least be happy..How will you get any

return business? I'm gonna see who she was..and who

owns this place.. I would NOT recommend it...sadly,

since its a beautiful spot. I could do wonders with it..

Specially knowing marketing too :-)

I KNOW how to run and manage a motel..so I can say

this with experience to back me up.. I met some REAL

characters when I ran those 4 in Houston...When you

deal with the public, you HAVE to be nice..No matter

what..well unless they get ugly..But most times people

respond better to a smile :-) I wonder if that lady is the

owner.She needs to hire someone that at least can

SMILE.. :-D

On this note I am posting this and gonna take a 5..The

past couple days have been VERY hectic and as far as

I know I have nothing tomorrow but Penny coming..I
cleaned every thing up but she will have to put stuff away

that my friends brought..very necessary supplies..that

the boys and I are most grateful for.. :-) I'm ready for this

week to get done and the first to get here.. Boy....do I

EVER need the 1st to hurry up :-) I will breathe a lot easier

knowing my check has been deposited...

~Change In Plans~

Busy, busy day today, lots to do..Penny is here to help..

My company that was due tomorrow has changed plans

and will be here today instead, which I wasn't really prepared

but with Pennys help it should be fine.. We, well she, is making

a pasta salad and I got some lunch meat for a light lunch ..I am

not positive what time they will be here ..I don't think for lunch, so

this is more for a light supper. Doing a lot of driving its kinda

hard to slow down and eat right away..So I figured something

lite with some Iced Tea...They plan to stay down at the Lodge

on Palmer Lake for the night, then stop by in the morning for

coffee then be on their way farther north... It will be good to see

them..Will help lift my spirits after the way this week started..

I do hope they don't run into bad weather though..I checked the

radar and I don't know for sure which way they are coming from

for sure, there are so many ways to get here, Colon is right between

the 2 major highways that run east and west..the toll road, and I-94

which is just north of me. But even the weather man on the news

last night said severe storms for here this afternoon with of course

possibilities of tornados..That's the one thing I hate about summer..

Would you believe we have our own oil spill? its running into one of

our major rivers here, the Kalamazoo River which feeds into all the

other major rivers in lower Michigan;..Was all over the news here

last night and REALLY BAD..These rivers are a drinking water for

lots of people..not counting the wild life..From what they said some

plant dumped it or it escaped..Its in the river now and moving into

the others..There are 3 rivers that meet in Three Rivers..hence the

name.. and this oil spill COULD reach there..THATs not good..

I am pleased I got my ring off my finger, I was pulling and tugging

at it yesterday after I noticed the swelling wasn't too bad on my

hands and after a bit of hard twirling I got it off..I'm so glad I didn't

have to get it cut off..:-)


Well Its time for me to post this so I can help Penny get the food

I bet I got at least a dozen calls by the time yesterday was

done. I am really really upset that not just my friend, but ANY
ONE would do that to someone..Use someone elses ID..That

is SO not a good thing.. Ive not heard anything from Blue..I

hope he tells me WHY he did this... THEN..to make matters

worse.. I decided to check my check book and make sure

all was ok with my bank..I had NO reason to think ANY possible

thing could be wrong there..YA..right... Well...

Finch Butt :-)

From what Bonnie told me my balance was, and I still had 2

checks to go thru , if they did, I would be over drawn! THATS

not good at all! I had NO idea what happened.. I went back

thru my record..and I made a massive mistake a few weeks

back and never saw it. I was facing 2 over draft charges of

35 dollars each! Not counting the extra money I needed so

they didn't bounce.. I have NO savings account or they would

transfer money from that to checking-...savings, :-) I havent

had any savings in years...

I called my boy, cuz I had some cash here, 80 dollars, I keep

a bit of cash since Penny cant run to the bank now to cash a

check when I need money for stuff....I only had that cuz I sold

some of my food stamps to get thru this month.. He and John

drove all the way here, 60 mile round trip..and John said he

would make a deposit for me first thing this morning..I had

NO one else to call. Donnie phoned at 9:45 today and said "the

DEPOSIT has been made..I love you ..bye".... :-) Whew...I

cant believe I did this, I'm most grateful to the guys for doing

this.. I rewarded them with a bag of shrimp and a pizza out

of my freezer :-) I can always depend on Donnie..

The GOOD part of yesterday, as you see by the photos I got

to enjoy the beauty of that gold finch...I bet he stayed out there

for hours.. He made all the little birds happy ..he steady dropped

seeds on the ground.. Those flowers will feed that bird for a long

time...The female showed up but I didn't have my ..no..Pennys

camera close by..

All that crap happening by the time I got to my bed I was actually

SICK..I didn't even eat yesterday I was so upset...I KNOW I did

NOT sleep very well..I have a raging headache today and Its just

from all the stress yesterday...

Travis came by this morning and of course I tell him everything..

Hes a good kid.. We talked for about an hour and then he left..

We saw a car going down the street with a lady in it and looked

like a camera or something taking pictures..stopped at every

house, THAT worried me.. I pointed it out to Travis..he didn't

know who it was either..After he left, my phone rang, and he

says it was a lady from the electric company reading meters!
They don't get out of the cars now? He said he saw her and

decided to call and tell me cuz he knew it worried me..He

knows me :-)

I am gonna post this blog and go and take a nap. I really do

have a horrible headache ..This GORGEOUS WEEBLE

needs to get over such a dark, BAD Monday :-) BUT.....

I am so mad right now I cant even think of anything to write

here.. I am FURIOUS...I have a friend that has phoned me

before and I have known Brian for years now..5 at least..

apparently hes applied for some crap online and using

MY phone number AND address and Putting It ON the NET!
I don't even do that. I have gotten at least 6 phone calls this

morning already. I cannot believe that Brian would do this to

me. Ive known him for years.. but to deliberately put MY name

AND phone number on the net so it can be sold..that's not

right..

I know Brian and when these people asked I was shocked

that they didn't recognize a Austrailia email and a US phone

number..not too smart..I have left messages for Brian and I

would think he would know better being a retired cop to use

false ID to apply for stuff.. these places calling me are for

credit card stuff .. I don't even HAVE a credit card... I am SO

MAD...

I have a raging headache and need to get this fixed so this is

a short post by this FURIOUS GORGEOUS WEEBLE.. I

hope you have a better Monday than me..I hope this isnt a

sign of what this week is gonna be.. I am NOT a happy

camper and I am logging off for today but.. I shall return

My morning glory out by the birdbath is doing so good.

Do you see the bloom..? Penny wound some ribbon

around the post..first one was red.. DUH.. I know..Well

you see the 2nd ribbon is white.. :-) I thought it was the

red glory that I saved the seeds from...surprise! its the

purple one...I don't mind, it can be any color it wants..I'm

just pleased its growing and blooming.. I planted those

seeds in that container my self..Penny only moved the

pot out there..so I CAN say I did it myself! :-) I'm gonna

plant both of them next year..
Now..do you see anything wrong with that top picture?

Look at the birdbath bowl.. NOW... knowing me.... you

KNOW... me not knowin what that lump floatin out in

that water is..well its making me worry.. I HOPE its NOT

a BIRD! I'm thinkin, HOPEFULLY, that its a pine cone.

I enlarged the picture but I still cant be sure..I wont be

able to find out till Penny gets here tomorrow.. :-( I

HAVE to think its a pinecone, not a baby bird like the

one that was out there on that concrete..THAT was

awful..I had to stop watching that..

Whats floatin?

It was bad last evening again, more storms.. I sat in

the doorway and watched as the sky turned dark..

looked down and there was Stinky..I felt so bad for

this cat..He just must NOT have a owner. Hes here

TOO often.. I would LOVE to keep him. get him

neutered, cuz he sprays, Ive seen him..But, I'm hoping

Penny will take him..She really likes him and he likes

her too..Hes so lovey..I bet Pennys guys would like

him..Only problem is Pennys 2 dogs..They don't really

like cats and the first day out there, I guess they had

a field day chasing the 5 Penny says are out in the barn..

She has a minpin and a beagle.. I wish he would get

along with my 2 guys..They ignore me for hours if they

smell one of those cats on my hands. I know they are

spraying outside the door and THAT has to be swept

and rinsed off now..Why do people NOT get their cats

or dogs for that matter spayed:? I don't understand

that..If you PLAN to be a dog breeder is different, but

just for a pet..GET YOUR PET NEUTERED ..whether

hes a indoor and SPECIALLY if hes an out door one..

I go to the ARF site every day and click on the blue

bar to donate to them..Helps the animals.. Go and

I talked to the boy last night and he has me worried..He

may have to let his house go back or try to sell it..Sign

of the times..Hes working, but hes had it really rough

now that he has only his income to pay all the bills Dawn

left him with, plus a $1000 dollar a month mortgage pay

ment.. Hes talking to someone tomorrow to see what

they can do..I wish I could help him..but I just barely

make it myself.. I told him to sell it, buy another and rent

it to me! then I could pay at least half the mortgage..I

cant buy it..the grant wont let me do that.. I plan to call

Rebecca tomorrow about that section 8 crap..that

bothers me..I don't know what to do to help Donnie.I

hate to see that kid give up that house..He loves it

out there..has his lake, his garage.. I just don't know

how to help him...Maybe this loan councellor hes going

to can come up with some logical solution..

Well..other than watch it rain and then see the sun..and

try to stay cool..Its been horrible ..up over 100! Today

only up in the high 80s..weather says rain every day

this week..:-( This is gonna be a hetic week..Penny of

course, then Travis on tuesday..possibly Rebecca and

then I am expecting company on Thursday for the day...

Busy week..:-) But I don't have any plans for today..:-)

~Rather Have Snow~

I got woke up at 3:30 this morning by a LOUD thunder

and a big flash of lightening.. Both cats ran and it scared

me.. But well I wasn't getting out of bed just to go sit in

the closet..I covered myself with my pillows and waited

it out to see what was gonna happen.. Nothing did..:-)

The past few days its been REALLY bad all around me,

Battle Creek had like 3 tornados, Coldwater got hammered

by high winds and they think it was a tornado..That's only

13 miles from me.. I would rather have SNOW :-)

Right now its almost 10 am and its so dark outside that

the yard light came on.. I looked at the weather map..We

are gonna get it again....7 kitties were out on the step

waiting for me .. all soaking wet...I got up at 7:30, and

its been raining since before I got up I think.. Eary, the

one with the folded ear is so skinny.He and Fuzz are

extremely skinny and I KNOW they eat every day, when

they come which the past few they have.. But I see no

weight gain at all.. I know they havta have worms...

The lights have flashed twice already So I am gonna

post this just in case we lose power..which happens ALL

the time.. I hope the weather by you is better! This

GORGEOUS WEEBLE is logging off..BUT ! I shall

~Hmmm~

I just got a strange email from my landlord saying "whats up?" All

it said..and it was only sent to me..I wrote back right away to see

if something is wrong..I am nervous about this grant stuff specially

since Doug was here,and he did NOT re assure me about it at all.

He made me MORE nervous in fact...Rebecca has filled out a form

for me to get Section 8 housing..I got a denial for it yesterday..Well..

I didn't like what I read on it..According to what this paper says, I

think Rebecca was not all up front..She said I would not have to go

off the grant but just be eligible for section 8..Well..according to this

paper I got..when my name comes up as being eligible.. I HAVE to

take the section 8 or go back down the list..I was told before that the

list has a 2 year wait.. So.. this worries me..why would Rebecca say

I DONT have to go on section 8... I don't understand. She should be

calling soon, and I WILL request a meeting to discuss this.. I'm not

at ease with this information at all... Someone is fibbin.. Hmmmm..
Anyhoway,,, my joystick cover has fallen off..its a real pain in the

butt..To look at it its no biggie to fix and you would think by it coming

off like that it wouldn't cause a problem..IT DOES! When I need to

move my chair in a hurry sometimes..;-) That cover comes off and

it takes me an extra minute or two to move..THAT could cause me

some problems...specially if I am trying to avoid something from

splashing or falling on me. Those extra seconds CAN count ! I will

call R & R and see if they can come out and fix it me.. I don't know

if I still have HPM..the insurance thingie.Usually I just call Deborah

there and she takes care of it. I guess I have to call and find out.I

should have maintence done on this chair I would think at LEAST

once a year... :-)
I saw Carl outside this morning working on his house some more..

Hes painting his railings.. With power washing it the other day I'm

wondering if maybe they might be gonna sell it or something..Its

a big house for 2 people..but they have lived there for over 50

years Joyce said.. Its got to be hard to leave your home after so

many years.. But maybe they want to live in Florida or somewhere.

I know they have, I think 3 kids here..I KNOW a son and a daughter.

Their daughter has MS.. He inquired about my extra wheel chair

that's out in the garage, that's how I know about her...

I cant think of a name for the chippie..even though he isnt I'm still

gonna call him that.. Hes a cutie..AND he likes lettuce too! Hes

not afraid of me or Dutch.. Dutch had fun watching him.. Chippie

came right up to the door to tease Dutch ..:-)

We are having grilled ham and cheese for lunch.. When Penny

leaves here she goes to her other client and doesn't eat till

later then..So we have lunch here.. She got us all clean for the

week end and went to the store to restock my birdseed.. The

birds know when she refills everything :-) The garden ladys

birdhouse is rented too! :-)

~Ground Squirrel~

A thirteen-lined ground squirrel (striped gopher) (Spermophilus

tridecemlineatus) That's not my photo.. Mr Erwins'..

A friend wrote and disputed my calling my chippie a chipmunk,
he said no,was a gopher. Im not familiar with what I call a gopher and
this being one..another said it was a ground squirrel.. I will have to
admit its not a chipmunk. Its cute, fun to watch, that's the Important
thing. I hope the guy doesn't mind my borrowing his photo to compare
to mine :-) So, now we know..

My mom had an ongoing disagreement with a lady that lived down
the street.Her name was Doris Matthews.. Her husband, Jim, was
the town barber..My dad went to him..Only other one was down in
Iron River and he wasn't as good as Jim.. Well every in town just
about had a garden it seemed... Doris would take walks to check out
other gardens and sometimes she ran into my mom.. Mom
complained about the chippies getting into her garden..Digging holes
and eating things she planted..They like carrots as you can see :-) I
put some out for my..Hmm Chippie is a prettier name than gopher..
Carrot...

Well my mom described her chippie, Doris quickly corrected her and

said, "no, Violet, that's a gopher"..Mom disagreed and from that first

time my mom and Doris avoided each other..it went on for a long time..

I had gone home for a visit...during one of our walks down in the

cemetery, we ran into Doris..my mom quickly confronted Doris,

"Lois, tell Mrs, Matthews, that IS a chippie in the garden".. I was in a

bad spot. I had NO idea what it was, I thought it was a chippie too!
That's what my mom said it was! So I said, "yes, its a chippie"....
His tunnel is right there on the left..he loves carrots! :-)

So Anyhoway... Where ever you are Mrs. Matthews, I guess I was

wrong too...Mom.. Its a GROUND SQUIRREL!!! I feel better :-)
Now that THAT is cleared up..Lets say mine is a striped squirrel..

:-) and I sure enjoy his company.. Now I don't have to throw my

icckky carrots away, I can give them to...well what do I name him?
Hmmmm.. I will think of something.. :-) He LOVES carrots... and

celery, hes not too keen on green beans though :-)

I feel pretty good today, I slept.. ok..only woke up twice.. I did stay

up kinda late there were some good movies on. STARZ- its so

much better than HBO.. they steady have new movies on..they

don't continuously repeat the same ones like HBO does.. There

was a free channel called EPIX for a week or so, it had some

good movies too..but its an extra pay channel and I don't do

those..I got the Starz free when I got the bundle package..well

no I got HBO and changed when I had to renew my contract..

I kinda and kinda don't like this bundle..I lose my cable or electric

I lose my phone..for someone like me that's not good.. I need

a back up and since I got this bundle I don't have a 'land phone'.

like I did before.. even with no power, with a land phone I still

could call someone.. now I cant.. I don't have a cell..no need,,

I don't go anywhere..

Rain and storms coming this afternoon, and bad storms are

predicted for tomorrow.. I was listening to the Sturgis Oldies

Radio station.. and they announced about the Magic Show

that is in a few weeks I think.. I had forgotten about it..Lots

of people are in town then..Means LOTS of yard sales and

all sorts of people will be walking around.. I better make sure

I have a good supply of batteries.. :-)

Lunch time, but I dunno what I want..I will find something..I

always do...Time for this GORGEOUS WEEBLE to post

this and I think I shall take a 5 , I was up at 7..I shall return

~Rough Night~

I spend a really bad night, awake most of it..I slept off

and on.. Was awful..cuz now that I'm up.. I feel awful..I

am SO tired now that I know as soon as Penny goes

I will make a b-line to my bed.. I was so uncomfortable

last night was awful.hot, then cold, then my left arm

started to ache and seriously HURT.. I tried all sorts

of positions and none really worked and the more I

tried to get comfy it seemed the worse it got.. I bet I

didn't really sleep, sleep at all..more or less dozed..

I just cant seem to get to a happy medium these past

few days..I got to stay in bed later today, I didn't get

up and out of bed till I heard Penny out in the kitchen.

I waited for her cuz I knew I just wouldn't have the

energy to feed the cats let alone make coffee. :-) it

was all done by the time I did get into my chair.. ;-)

Penny's good....

She and Mike like the new house and so do all her

residents. Its a lot bigger and a lot bigger yard ..The

other house was right in town and of course the guys

miss that, but from what Penny said they like having

a nice quiet place and are enjoying the yard..Lots

goes on in our yards that until you take the time to

notice, you don't see any of it..

This is short, but my eyes are so sore and I'm tired.

So, this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is gonna maker this

a short post for today.. Keep well and cool..but

~Comfy Kittie~ :-)

Dutch is gonna make himself comfy no matter where he is. We

were waitin for the birds this morning and he got comfy on the

joystick to my chair, half on it and half on me.. I couldn't resist

taking his photo.. Contented kittie..He doesn't know how good

he has it compared to the outside ones, and I hope my boys

never do.. I'm glad these kitties have me to kinda help them..

Carole delivered another bag of cat food for them and this time

they like it a lot better, the last kind they didn't like at all, so I

had to doctor it up.. I just got some cheap cans of soup..like

chicken noodle..they eat it then...:-) The girl, the 1 orange and

I don't need to point out 'Stinky' as I call him.. You can really

see the stripe down his back..He could easily be taken for a

skunk.. :-) why I call him Stinky..Penny calls him Inky, cuz of

his cute face.. I believe 7 came for breakfast altogether :-)

These 3 stick together..
While Dutch and I sat in the doorway, I really got worried..I

saw NO BIRDS! None.. They must sleep late on Tuesday.

It was after 9 when a couple of black birds showed up.. I

was glad to see them..I worry when things change ;-)
My sunflowers are sick.. The leaves are all eaten and chewed,

and look at the ickky spots on the leaves.. I have NO idea what

is wrong...The blooms were not as big or the petals as nice

as they were last year.. Id be afraid to spray anything on them,

the finches like them and I don't wanna hurt the birds..but I don't

wanna lose the sunflowers either! Always something...

I was SO glad to see Eary, the gray tiger with the broken ear.

Its still down but not raw..He is so skinny I felt awful for him..I

wish he would come by every day, but maybe someone owns

him and doesn't let him out every day.. I dunno. I think ALL

these outside cats need wormed..Even Stinky is skinny..We

are trying to figure out a way to de-worm him. Penny said

she could give him something..he follows her around like a

dog when she is outside..so she could easily give him some

thing..I sure would like to let him inside, keep him.. He is a

beatiful cat..He and LB kinda sniffed each other and LB

walked away growling and mad..he ignored me for hours..:-)

I feel pretty good today..my hands are pretty swollen and I

still havent been able to get that one ring off my middle finger,

left hand..Its David's wedding ring..I may have to cut it off..I

hope not, but it gets really tight sometimes.. I sure miss my

rings..But with my hands doing this I don't dare put them on

for fear I would have to have them cut off too.. I cant wear my

gold bracelets either.. :-(

Well its that time again, and I have some left over porcupine

meatballs for lunch..They are so good..Penny does a good

job.. So.. with that said..all that's left for this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE to say is.. I shall return! :-)

~Leg Crossing~

I talk, well write too, about how nice it would be to have a

deck outside my back door that I could go out and sit on.

I would like to have one of those lounger chairs..Like a

recliner but not movable..I had one at the condo in Elkhart,

on my lanai as I called it.. I loved it out there.. Now, to sit

in one of those I know I would enjoy it, but I still wouldn't get

the same satisfaction as when I had legs...
When I had mine, both legs AND a lounger, when I laid or

sat on it, I crossed my legs down by my ankles..when I would

sit in a chair I crossed my legs at the knees.. I miss that.. I

have tried to cross my 'lovely little legs' :-) but the right is so

short and the left is just NOT long enough to go over the right

either, even though its longer than the right one..I honestly

miss that feeling! :-) Isnt that weird? Strange but true! ;-)

Even though I cant cross my legs at any length I think sitting

outside on a lounger would be nice .. with one of those clip

on umbrellas.. I couldn't have a table umbrella like I had, I

had a really hard time closing that one, you have to close it

up if its gonna storm or you might find it in the neighbors yard!

But a chair clip on kind would work, I cant sit in the sun. I

cant take hot humid heat, but the nice cool of the evening or

early morning.. I can do that.. :-)

Had a new visitor outside, the rabbit decided to come by..He

spotted a cat and took off like the devil himself was after him..

Rabbits can run really fast..From what Carl says there are a lot

of them around, all colors, white, black, tame ones that were

let go...some man had them and just set them free now this

whole town has a buncha wild rabbits.. :-)

Penny has made porcupine meatballs for lunch today and

for tomorrow.. She got all moved in and she, her hubby and

all 5 of her renters are happy... They seem to like it out there

in a smaller town than even here, but she shops in 3 Rivers.

Shes kinda halfway between . Well, its food time and of

course this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is hungry.. but... don't

forget.. I shall return! :-)

~House Washing Time~

Carl and Joyce power washed their house yesterday. It took him

a long time, I bet at least 4 or 5 hours, its a huge 2 story one plus

what you cant see is an attached garage. These other 2 garages

that are outside here belong to Joe, I think, and the one that is next

to the driveway is Carls workshop. He goes out there quite a few

times a day, I'm still waiting for him to walk into that tree or some

thing, he never looks up when he goes across there..I know he

did a couple times, and when he has, hes always waved :-) As

you see hes got a supervisor..Joyce was making sure he did it

right.. :-)

I want you to know, I don't know who had a better time yesterday,

the chippie or me.. I had thrown a hot dog out there for the cat,

for Fuzz, hes very shy and he always waits till the others have

eaten first.. So I tossed a hot dog out there for him.. Chippie

tried for a long time to drag that thing, then would bite it. He

left it out there, so I guess he didn't care for it..:-)
I had thrown bread crumbs out there for the birds too..I hate

to throw any kind of food away, I give the birds birdseed too,

but they enjoy the bread and LB and Dutch like watching them.

Dutch is so funny when he watches, he scratches at the glass,

tail twitching, he even ducks down like the birds are flying at

him..:-) Well chippie likes the bread too! and hes NOT afraid

of the birds, they arent afraid of him either..
That stinker came right up in my face yesterday.. He saw me,

and came right up on this step that's outside the door..He sat

there, looked at me as if to say, "Well..take my photo!" :-) I

think he has fun too.. He stayed out there and played in his

tunnels..popping up in one, going down in another one. Hes

got tunnels all over ..This is such fun... I have a rough life hey?
Ya, I sit all day and half the night..I do enjoy my yard though.

I liked the little house too but I see more critters and birds.

I liked the other house, that street out front of it stayed busy

and kinda let me know the world is going on out there..Here,

its so quiet, I hear not ONE sound..The only sounds I ever

hear, well the cats whining, but the AC or the refrigerator

running..That's all.. Well no, the guy across the street, STILL

has not gotten his loud muffler fixed, so I hear that...Other

wise, its VERY quiet here.. I like it though...Only thing that

could be improved is adding a deck..Which, I have my

doubts, they are Very expensive..One of these days maybe

but until then I can see through the door and enjoy all my

critters :-)
Quiet Sunday, and nice.. I saw on the weather that yesterday

was a historic day..From the west coast to the tip of Maine

it was HOT..all across the states....the TV said that its NOT

happened before that he knew of...Then I watched that movie

2010..about the end of the world..Was a pretty good movie,

great effects when they showed the whole state of California

disappearing into the ocean. Was a pretty good movie.. I

was glad it was on..there was nothing good on any of the

other channels, well nothing I wanted to watch..out of 162

channels, and 9 movie channels..only 1 did I care to see..

Some thing is wrong with that picture...I steady click ..I don't

think any one could stand watching TV with me. cuz I hate

commercials and steady click so I don't have to watch them.

I sometimes watch 2 channels, using the back button. :-)
I don't know what I am having for dinner today.. Nothing sounds

really good and I honestly don't have the arm strength to fix

anything major, that involves alot..just typing makes my arm

ache.. I think its 2 problems..circulation and carpal tunnel..

Anyhoway, this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is hungry then I

might take a 5..Happy Sunday! Remember...I SHALL

New Tennants? Theyre checking it out :-)

On some of my older posts I have been getting some spam..I

hope, that unless a link is in this post, do NOT click on it.. I have

gotten some comments posted lately on some old posts that

are spam, for viagra and pills, all sorts of crap... Never click on

a link if it is In the comments that go with each post. If I put here

that its one I, me, recommend, it will be here in the post.. I don't

know whos doing it... I have reported it, but blogger doesn't offer

any help with that, other than to change the way to comment. Ive

tried to delete them, but it wont Let me do that either.. So, whom

ever is doing it, I hope they stop.. I DO know where they are coming

from as Blogger does have a tracker and that's about all they tell

ME.. I do hope they take care of it so it will stop.. I don't like those

ads..

When you go to different websites those ads that run down the side,

have you noticed they are about business or what ever, that are by

you? That's cuz every one that clicks on a web site is instantly tracked

and if you click on one of those ads, the person that got permission to

put them on a site gets money.. If I allowed ad sense to put ads here,

I could get like 3 or 4 cents every time someone clicks on it..but THEN

the person that clicked would get on a spam list..Lots of places get

names off the net.. I got some free labels for mail..snail mail..and the

addy they used was one I used on line to order something...How I

know is because I made a mistake and put my last name on the order

form twice! So the labels I got from St. Judes they HAD to have gotten

off the form I filled out online..To order a catalog or something.. But

that goes to show you.. Guard your privacy...I'm picky about that.

I sent the labels back to the St.Jude and told them of their mistake and

that I knew how they got my address... I no longer will fill out any sort of

catalog request or anything with my name, addy or anything else.. The

only thing I use, which has been proven safe is PayPal..I use it and it

is VERY secure.. I have a Donation button up top ... Anyway.. just please

don't click on any links in this blog unless its in a post, as I am the only

one that can post anything here.. :-) other than a comment, then anyone

can do that.. :-) I like to get comments..good ones that is..:-) which

most are that I get...

I woke up early, I only sleep late on the days I know Penny is due..I

wake up and all I think about are the kitties outside that I KNOW are

waiting for food...:-) Just like mine are..except the dishes outside are

empty, the boys dishes are NEVER empty..I see to that... I try to keep

some food outside too..but over night, I KNOW that any scrap of food

will disapear.. :-)

Its gonna be another hot day, the humidity is awful..even with AC I still

have a hard time breathing, well not really breathing, but getting GOOD

air, that feels refreshing..:-) I breathe but, not GOOD kind..That don't make

sense, as long as I'm breathing its good..You know what I mean :-)
Anyhoway, I have some left over fish from yesterday.. Penny sure knows

how to fry fish. Shes a very good cook :-) That's all this GORGEOUS

WEEBLE has planned for today.. Nice lazy satday..:-) SO..I'm gonna

post this and EAT :-) Happy Weekend !! :-)

~The Chippie Story~ :-)

I had the best time yesterday watching the chippie..He

came right up to me almost.. He saw me watching him, but

I sat very still and tried not to move to much to scare him off.

What a beautiful animal.. Arent the markings just wonderful?
These critters outside are all so different and beautiful in

their own ways.. I downloaded 20 great photos that I took but

I cant put them all here, It was hard deciding which ones to use,

I like them all ! He seemed to love the blueberries I put out

there AND you see in one of the pictures that stinker was gonna

climb one of those sunflowers! If it had been a stronger plant,

I bet he would have..:-) I used to see these critters when I was

at the Hellhome.. But I didn't know what they were..
I sat a lot and looked out the window in my room while I was in

Heartland..that name doesn't fit it.. The HellHome .. but I saw

them out there in the huge yard that was between the Hellhome

and the apartment complex across the way..It was a huge one,

lots of activities and their back doors were facing my windows,

so I got to see alot..Lots I didn't wanna see, but most was kinda

interesting, I preferred watching the birds or critters.. I had a

shepherds hook there too..right outside my window..I had a hard

time keeping it filled as they wouldn't let me out there, not alone

anyway..But I saw a lot of chippies, I just didn't KNOW that's what

they were!
I told the nurses about these little animals I would see and watch

out side my window. Id go into detail as to what I would see them

do, which was mainly almost stand up, look around, then they

would run like crazy to another spot and I would try to guess where

they would pop up next ! Some times I'm looking to the left and

the chippie was over on the right.. or vise versa.. I had fun..
Jan, the nurse had come into my room, for some reason or another,

probly to give me my meds, I liked her, she and I got along quite

well.. she had been there for a long time and I bet she is still there

now.. She was very pretty and single too! She even came up to

the hospital to visit when I was in there for my amputations..Very

good nurse, understanding..and she knew how it was for me..
I stayed in looney tune land a LONG time when I was there, when
I told Jan I was watching this little critter run around out in the yard,

she just put her hand on my shoulder and told me "Time for your

meds I think, Lois".. she didn't really believe I was seein this

"critter".. :-) She probly put this sighting in the same category as

my yellow ants and dust bunny pals..:-) I tried to assure her I REALLY

did see them!
A second after she left the room, that little chippie started his running

back and forth, stopping every few feet, standing up . then running.

I yelled for Jan "COME HERE ! THERE HE IS!" She did, and that

chippie STOPPED running..I was SO mad.! I asked her to step back

so HE couldn't see HER watching .. soon as she did, he popped his

head up and stood there for quite awhile.. Jan DID finally see him.!..

She almost yelled ..but said.."Lois! There REALLY IS a critter out

there, its a chipmunk..I honestly didn't believe you..but I sure am

GLAD to know your're not seeing stuff again!".. :-) I felt better TOO!
I thought I was really losing it.. :-)
Seein this little guy reminds me of the one that kept me so entertained

over at the hellhome..It was fun watching him even though he made

me think of the hell home, some of the things there werent too bad:-)

Well now its lunch time, we are having fish.. I LOVE fish.. This store

over here, Village Market is pitiful..They have no stock and a lot of

the stuff is outdated.. Penny got the ONLY package of fresh but

frozen fish they had... Only One?: that was my question too. I guess

its the fun of living in a small town...I bet MOSt people that live here

because of how that store is, shop elsewhere, that's what I have

started doing.. Penny shops in 3 Rivers for me now.. ANYHOWAY..

Its post time and I'm hungry. Gonna be hot hot hot today and some

thunderstorms later.. Some of the storms that went thru here yesterday

were really bad.. trees down and lots with out power.. We was

spared.. "Thank You Lord!" I hate storms. This GORGEOUS WEEBLE
